It was smooth because check-out was good to just put the room key card in a post in front of the elevator. The interior and fixtures of the room were sufficient, but I thought it would be nice if the trash can was a little larger. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but I didn't ask for cleaning, so the trash was immediately full. I think there are some guests who do not ask for cleaning, so I feel that it will be better if you can improve that point. The location is also available at Marunouchi Station in 1.2 minutes, so you can't transfer to Nagoya or Sakae.

Near the station, there is a natural hot spring, and the room itself is small, but I would like to continue using it because I can get rid of the fatigue of business trips. Also, the breakfast Apa curry was very delicious.

Absolutely fantastic! As someone who's stayed in numerous five-star hotels, this one still managed to impress me! The facilities are incredibly well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, with no long queues or waiting, and the service easily handled the large number of guests. The views are unbeatable, and the location is super convenient. There are various train and subway lines right downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to city attractions, shopping areas, or even other cities. We went to the airport directly from the first-floor exit via a sky bridge straight to the Meitetsu line – no umbrella needed, it was so convenient! Plus, Takashimaya is downstairs, offering one-stop shopping and dining. You can shop, drop your bags off in your room, and then head right back down to explore more. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for first-time visitors to Nagoya and those who rely on public transportation. It's a truly hassle-free stay!

We stayed again at this hotel for our last 3 nights in Nagoya. It is a 15 mins walk from Nagaoya station and there are plenty of food options and konbinis around. There is also a cinema located within the same building and there is an access to the basement walkway to the train station but do take note of the opening timing. The room was modern and clean with a large smart TV. We stayed on the 22nd floor and the view was fantastic this time compared to to the first stay during the start of the trip as the room was facing the castle and Alps. There’s is also a public bath on the 18th floor where the lobby was. It was small but decent with no view which was a pity. Overall a good place to stay if you intend to hit the surrounding areas for shopping and sightseeing in the city.

I booked this hotel for a concert... The location is excellent, with two 24-hour drugstores downstairs and two convenience stores. There's a smoking room in the lobby on the first floor, with a self-service drink machine right outside. It looks like you need to swipe your card to go up, but you can actually use the elevator without swiping. The room isn't small; I could open my suitcase completely. Overall, it was clean and tidy. The air conditioning in the room was completely unadjustable in winter, making it incredibly hot... Luckily, the window could be opened a crack, which was the only way to cool it down.

The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem. Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them! It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient! The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it. The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

⭐ The elevator is hidden behind automatic doors inside the building, which can be a bit inconvenient for new guests checking in, especially since there are only downward escalators, making it hard to get to the second floor. ⭐ This hotel doesn't provide bottled water (you can buy it at Lawson downstairs). I actually saw a lot of negative reviews on Xiaohongshu and booked this place with some trepidation. But when I arrived, I found the hotel to be really good! The location is very close to the commercial street, just across the road. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are still quite clean. It's even cheaper than accommodation in China, and the room isn't particularly small—there's enough space to open a suitcase. The air conditioning is quite loud when set to heat, but you can just turn it off once the room is warm enough.

Although the room size isn't huge, it's quite acceptable for a major city like Nagoya. Every day, after returning to the hotel, I could relax in the large public bath on the rooftop, which really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. Since I didn't use the room's bathroom, I put my suitcase in there, which effectively increased the usable space in the bedroom. Plus, the hotel provides DHC cosmetics for free, which is definitely a highlight. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sakae commercial district, Oasis 21, and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle is only about a 15-minute walk away. For dinner, if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 5 minutes, you'll find an underground shopping street beneath the Nagoya TV Tower with all sorts of restaurants and a food supermarket. There's also a convenient store right outside the hotel. While the breakfast selection isn't incredibly diverse, I particularly enjoyed the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and ramen. The staff were very enthusiastic. Choosing this hotel for my stay was definitely a smart decision.

The hotel is right next to JR Nagoya Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding commercial area also offers excellent facilities. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately impressed; the lobby is spacious, upscale, and beautifully decorated, already exuding a strong Christmas atmosphere. The front desk service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and detailed in their explanations—truly a testament to a grand hotel's standard of service. The room was compact but very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I'm very satisfied. I'm looking forward to returning to the Meitetsu Grand Hotel after my trip to Takayama and Gero to kick off my Nagoya city tour and shopping spree! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.

Location is good. Very near Fushimi Metro. Surrounded by eateries and convenience stores. About 20 mins walk to Nagoya station and walkable distance to major shopping centers. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. We were able to send our luggage to another hotel at Matsumoto without any issue with the help of the hotel staff. From Chubu Airport, just take the airport bus (Centrair Limousine). Alight at Nagoya Kanko Hotel Bus Stop and a walking distance of less than 5 mins will reach Diawa Roynet Hotel Fushimi.
