Excellent location, the original TV tower is now a design hotel. Located in a popular leisure, dining and shopping area in the city center, the underground is a huge subway system and a supporting underground dining and shopping plaza. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic, and the rooms are hand-painted murals by artists, which are very modern and artistic. The meals provided are particularly worthy of praise, a combination of Japanese and Western styles, and the dishes are beautifully presented with attention to detail. The rice for breakfast is a small pot of freshly made stone pot stewed rice, with 4 kinds of rice and soy sauce, which will be introduced in detail for guests to choose. At night, you can climb to the top of the TV tower to overlook the Nagoya landscape. Very good stay experience. The only shortcoming is that the bathroom light is too dim and ladies cannot put on makeup.
- Zuilangjitianyazhongdedifang
The hotel is in a great location. We took a taxi from the famous station. When we arrived, the Japanese taxi driver was confused. He said that a tower is a tower, but there is a hotel on it. The room is very art hotel style. After 10 pm, you can go to the Nagoya Tower Observation Deck through the secret door, which is very interesting.

Stayed at TIAD in Sakae. The location is super convenient for transportation, with metro and bus stops right at the doorstep. It's about a 15-minute ride to Nagoya Station. The service was attentive. However, the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive and primarily consisted of Western-style options, so be prepared for that.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional and exceeded all my expectations. The service was impeccable; every staff member was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, making me feel truly valued.

The room was awesome!! Very spacious even for a family of 4. Wifi was fast and has youtube channel which kids gave 3 cheers for that. Front desk service was spectacular. We arrived by car and staff already came out to welcome us. And since we were in a rush to return our car, the staff proactively offer to help sent our luggages to our room (luckily we had done the online check in in advance) and I had to say with this money spent, we got 5 star hotel service. Plus the amenities they provided might even better than some 4,5 stars hotel. Location wise, it situated in a 8-10 mins walk from the subway, with convenient stores and pharmacy nearby. However you might find it not that “safe” downstairs since there’s clubs and pubs around. Apart from that, this hotel worths every penny spent. High recommended.

Pros - Hotel is within walking distance from Sakae Station - Room is clean and spacious. Really appreciate the kid-friendly decor. Kids were really excited by it. Many thoughtful considerations such as having torches, a coffee machine and free amenities when requested at the front desk. - Service was impeccable. Miss Kawano was patient and helpful when helping me and my family settle into the hotel. Cons - Some suspicious-looking males hanging around the area at night. The area has a few host clubs and bars, so it may look dangerous to roam at night. My wife didn't feel safe to go on the streets at night, though I personally did not encounter any issues when I did.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. After exiting Sakae subway station, follow the signs for Exits 13-14. Right next to these exits, you'll find an underground mall entrance; simply go inside, turn right, and walk straight to access a direct elevator to the hotel. There are also plenty of shopping malls in the vicinity. Furthermore, the hotel's ambiance is fantastic, and rooms offer views of Nagoya Tower. Child-friendly amenities are provided for younger guests.
- Emmasummer
The hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by numerous department stores and restaurants like PARCO Department Store and Kani Honke. Everything is conveniently within walking distance, making it ideal for shopping and dining. There's also a shopping mall located directly beneath the hotel, featuring Maruaki BBQ. Although its menu differs slightly from the Takayama branch and prices are a bit higher, the food is still very tasty. Additionally, the hotel is equipped with its own gym.

This was my second stay here. The room isn't huge, but it has a great view, and the bathroom is spacious with both a tub and a shower. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's good that all three Nagoya specialties are available. This time, I specifically chose the executive lounge. In the afternoon, there were desserts, and in the evening, cheese, cold cuts, and fruit. All the alcoholic drinks were self-pour; there were no freshly mixed cocktails.

This hotel offers great value for money. Although it's a bit far from Nagoya Station, it's conveniently located right next to the Aonami Line, providing direct access to the subway. The hotel environment is excellent, and the views are unique. The rooms are quite spacious for Japan. The breakfast selection is also very rich, and the food tastes good. Overall, it's truly commendable! 👍

First off, the location is excellent; it's right above Nagoya Station, with Takashimaya and Gate Tower malls, and Meitetsu Department Store, just downstairs. It's great for shopping and convenient for transportation. The room itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. Being on a high floor, the room offers a fantastic view, and you can see the entire Nagoya city nightscape. On another note, the hotel's parking costs 3200 yen per day, and the entrance to the parking lot is incredibly difficult to find. We were driving and almost went crazy trying to locate it! Because the hotel is on top of a major station building, the parking entrance is on a small side street behind the hotel. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I would definitely book again next time.
- Dandingzhiran
The hotel's location is excellent. It's a quick ride on the Meitetsu Limited Express from the airport. It's situated at a massive transportation hub with JR, subways, a bus center, and shopping malls all around, making travel incredibly convenient. Everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping is right on your doorstep – I'm very satisfied. The room is quite spacious for Japanese standards. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. The lobby is always bustling with people, a sign of a thriving business. Do note that the two bottles of water in the fridge are chargeable. Right across from the hotel are luxury boutiques. There are also plenty of subway and bus options to get to Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Jingu Shrine.

We stayed at the King Corner Suite and the space was wonderful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we had to order pillows from Marriott after we returned home! On site parking is available for guests on a first come first serve basis and once you acquire a parking spot you will be guaranteed for the spot for the remaining duration of your stay. Will definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya next time when visiting Nagoya again
- HKen
The facilities are brand new and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that children stay free of charge and breakfast is complimentary. The only minor downside is its distance from the subway station, which is about a 10-minute walk. However, a taxi ride is quite affordable, usually costing around 20-something RMB.

The lobby has a great artistic vibe. The hotel's location is superb, and nearby convenience stores are very handy. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, making it more suitable for families traveling by private car or chartered vehicle. On the bright side, the rooms are significantly more spacious than what you typically find in other Japanese hotels.

Hotel is pretty aesthetically well designed. Love the interior and the lifestyle vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended for couples that are having a short vacation at Nagoya, walking distance to a nightlife street. Love their breakfast! Very fresh and delicious options available!

The hotel is excellent. Though an older property, it's remarkably well-maintained. The airport bus drops you directly at the entrance, which is incredibly convenient. Downstairs, you'll find a 24-hour pharmacy, a convenience store, and a McDonald's. It's also just a 6-minute walk to the subway station, making transit very easy. Two popular chicken wing spots are a mere 2-minute walk behind the hotel and a 3-minute walk in front. The Chunichi Building is also nearby, where you can find Blue Cafe and Montbell, and take advantage of tax-free shopping. Legoland is directly accessible by subway, and arranging a chartered car to Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama is hassle-free with direct hotel pick-up and drop-off. First of all, a big thank you to those who've stayed here before and shared their insights! This hotel's location is perfect for a short trip (two or three days). You can take a direct bus from the airport to Sakae Station (check your flight arrival time, add immigration time, plus a one-hour time difference; if the bus schedule lines up nicely – they run every two hours – then the bus is a good option). From Sakae, it's less than a ten-minute walk (just around the corner). Going to the Sakae shopping district (just across the street from the hotel, a ten-minute walk) for food (Ichiran Ramen, Hitsumabushi unagi) is very convenient. For getting around by subway (Sakae Station is a five-minute walk, roughly halfway between the airport bus drop-off and the hotel), reaching Nagoya Castle or Nagoya Station (the transportation hub for buses to Takayama) is only two stops away (note: these are on two different subway lines and in two different directions, but easily identifiable in the Sakae underground mall). I recommend buying a subway day pass (valid for 24 hours from your first entry) and grouping your subway trips together; it's very economical. The hotel overall and the rooms aren't large (typical for this type of hotel in Japan) and it's a bit older, but the service and in-room amenities are still perfectly adequate. The breakfast doesn't vary much day-to-day, but there's enough variety, and the quality is pretty good. Coffee is available in the lobby at all times, and donuts are offered in the afternoon. I hope this helps others!

The hotel is situated literally 1 min away from an exit of a tube station of Sakae district. The room is large, considered the price, and when compared with some hotel brands. The facilities it provided include public bath, washing machines, parking, leave luggage. We used the public bath and it was good. There were not that many people on the ladies side. The screen I the room shows the situation of the men and ladies baths. The water temperature was hot but not too hot. I was helped with operation of the self service check in, which is very much. appreciated.

It’s a very classy hotel and it’s been around long enough to show it. It sits right on top of the Meitetsu bus center. We didn’t utilize the bus the first few nights we stayed here but once we did, we understood why this hotel is so popular. The accessibility to the bus center is very nice. With the age of this hotel, it retains the premium real estate space per room that just doesn’t really exist at this price point in more recent hotels. I wouldn’t say it’s as roomy as the average American motel but there is a noticeable difference of additional room compared to your average business hotel. Amenities were limited but it had enough for what we needed. Technology wise, the rooms are still equipped with TVs from the Stone Age but this wasn’t a negative for us and we hardly utilized the TV. Shower and tub were standard though the bidet tech was a bit dated. It’ll still get the job done cleaning you up though. No issues with check in or check out. Staff were kind and even let us check in a few minutes earlier than scheduled. If you enjoy the shops around the station, the hotel elevators go all the way down to the basement shopping arcade which also connects you to many of the other buildings in the area. You never really have to go outside. We heard this hotel will undergo renovation next year. I wish the best for all the staff involved and look forward to see the new improvements the next time I’m able to stay here.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about, except maybe the price. Choosing the Fushimi Daiwa Hotel for my Nagoya trip was a great decision, the overall stay was incredibly hassle-free! The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk to Fushimi Station. Whether it's taking the subway to Nagoya Castle, the Sakae shopping district, or catching the JR to Chubu Centrair International Airport, it's all very accessible. Plus, there are 24-hour convenience stores and Japanese izakayas nearby, so you don't have to worry about snacks or late-night meals. The room, while not spacious, has a refreshing Japanese minimalist style. The storage design is incredibly thoughtful; I could open my suitcase without it taking up too much space. The bedding was just right in terms of firmness, so I slept very soundly. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and complimentary toiletries and pajamas were provided – excellent attention to detail. The service was also very warm. The front desk staff communicated in simple English, check-in was quick, and they even proactively gave me a Nagoya sightseeing map with recommended routes. Every day before heading out, the housekeeping staff would clean the room spotlessly, even wiping away water stains from the table without a trace. Breakfast mainly consisted of Japanese set meals, featuring freshly grilled salmon, tender tamagoyaki, and piping hot miso soup, accompanied by side dishes and rice. It was a light and comforting meal, perfect for starting a day full of energy. If I visit Nagoya again, I'll most likely choose this hotel again. The value for money and convenience are simply unbeatable!

Stayed with BWH for nights. Pros: The location is great. Only approx. 5 minutes walk to Sakae Station. There are many restaurants to go to. Convenience shops like Lawson and 7 eleven are just across the road. The double room itself is spacious by Japanese standards (as in the photo). Cleanness is superior. The hotel does routine daily cleaning services including replacing slippers and towels, etc. Almost all amenities are provided at the reception. Must mention that many things like face cleansing gel are from Pola. Cons: The fridge makes clear noise (even when switched to level 1), so that I have to power off the fridge before sleeping. The soundproofing can be improved. I could hear laughter and natter from the next wall (their large voice did contribute though), especially when the night was very quiet. Another one is the small chair on the corner. It kept preventing me from accessing the window side of the bed. Should've chosen a better place to place it.
