We were a group of 7+ tourists traveling in a sprinter van with chaufer and as we were entering the el Cielo parking lot the chaufer accidentally hit a tiny speed sign post and the el Cielo security guard named Ernesto immediately ran to tell us we need to pay $650 pesos for the sign and quite frankly treated us as criminals who weren't allowed to leave the crime scene, he didn't even stop to think that we were planning to go spend a large sum of money in their winery, all he cared about was showing us who is the boss. Of course we paid his silly sign post and went away and never plan to go back to their winery or buy their wines. If they treat you that way as a potential customer, would you buy their wines? No thanks!

Excellent hotel, clean, decorated with very good taste beautiful the service from the waiters is very slow too slow it seems that everyone enters a computer and takes too long I ordered a few beers and it took 15 minutes to bring it to me and there was no one but us In the dining room the waiter forgot twice that we had asked for beer when we went out to the balcony in our room we did not notice pigeon droppings on the balcony floor and we dirty our room so they should do something with the pigeons also in the access to the beach you can not ask if we could pass in some way and they told us that on the side of the hotel but all the security said that there was no access finally a person let us pass very kind by the way the other day in the morning I went down to ask for a coffee and there was no change with the 200 peso bill that I gave them and it took them 10 minutes to give me a coffee and 10 minutes to get a change of the ticket. rto they could never change and I had to pay with a card the hotel in general is beautiful but the service in our experience was very bad but I do recommend it The hotel itself is very nice but does not have access to the beachFrom$187

For being a first timer the staff @ the front desk office was un professional. Weren’t organize & seem like they didn’t care. I didn’t receive the membership discount & was aware they where going to fix it when checking out which never happened..all they can do is give a discount for the next visit but having all the issue Im still thinking about it the room wasn’t clean at all specially the toilet seem like they forgot to scrub it & they forgot to put towels in too .. Idk very disappointed & the floor were dirty too maybe I got a room that was clean in a hurry to just book me in 🤷🏽♀️ & the mattress was super hard I woke up kinda sore 😫From$90

this is the second time we have stayed at the Villa Marina in recent weeks. the last time the room was terribly run down and the hotel clerk told me each room was only allowed one bottle of water per visit. EVERY HOTEL WE VISIT IN BAJA GIVES FREE WATER. tap water is not drinkable. we own a home in BAJA. we travel regularly to Ensenada and also to Baja Sur (southern Baja). the toilet in the bathroom is located in a tiny little alcove. it is impossible to sit on the toilet correctly. you must sit on the side, not the front. THIS WOULD BE ILLEGAL IN USA. there is a nice little bar in the hotel lobby. we have been there a few times. the female bartender charged us way too much on one bill so on our next visit we asked how much my controy liquor was. she told us 70 pesos then tried to charge us 120 pesos each. after our complaint, she reduced the bill. I just bought a bottle of this liquor at COSTCO it cost 112.72 pesos for a one-liter bottle. WOW. this bartender should be fired. I HOPE THE OWNER OF THE BAR IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THE RECEIPTS AND CASH SHE TURNS IN. BECAUSE IF SHE CAN CHEAT AND LIE TO US SHE DOES THE SAME TO HER EMPLOYER. we were on the 9th floor. regular flights of helicopters were flying overhead and extremely loud.From$97

Booked a premier room and was very disappointed. Room gave my and my pal respitory problems. Found a dirty cup behind the bed. No fridge in room. Very small ice bucket . Too Toooo many kids in the pool so unable to use it. Location of my room was 150 meters from the lobby. No escaltor or elevator to get to second floor rooms. The rooms all need a make over. Rooms also have dark lights . Hotel was too cheap light hotel room properly. View was AWFUl and in an inner court room!!I would NOT return to this hotel. Not worth the money!From$76

It is a executive type hotel, to my experience, but excellent for middle groups. But it is very careful, and good staff treatment. You are careful quickly. The rooms are of good size. The staff that was in charge were friendly and service, without any problem. From$123
