If you're reading this review, it means you're planning a trip to Cambodia. Congratulations!
First, about the hotel itself: the location is superb for visiting Angor Wat. It's a bit far from the center, but not a problem (a taxi costs 7,000 riel, about 130 rubles). The kitchen works well with gas, and there are dishes, so we left some spices for the next guests.
The host and the security guard were responsive and will check you in late.
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.
Now for the useful information: a tour of the small/large circle of the Angor Wat complex costs $15-25, so be sure to negotiate. Any tuk-tuk driver will be happy to take you. We bought tickets to the complex online and had no problems.
We recommend buying tickets for just one day and visiting the main temples (the small circle). Be sure to watch the sunrise.

Hi everyone!
I stayed in these apartments for 12 days. For the first three days, I was put in the last room on the first floor, called G8. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The room is next to a utility room where there's a pump that boosts water pressure. It's really noisy, right behind the wall. Plus, there were no hooks in the shower, nowhere to hang a towel.
But thankfully, on the fourth day, I was moved to the second floor, and everything was great.
The location was nice for me, but it's a matter of personal preference. It's quiet, you're not right in the city, but on the outskirts. However, a 15-minute bike ride gets you to Pub Street. So, it's not too noisy and you're closer to real Khmer life. There's a stove, a fridge, and basic kitchenware. All in all, I didn't want to leave.

I was extremely satisfied with our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Cambodia. First and foremost, the service was exceptionally attentive. Despite being a bit of a distance from Pub Street, they offered free tuk-tuk service, which only required a reservation. Furthermore, whether we were checking in, checking out, or simply returning to the hotel for a short break, staff members would always greet us at the entrance with jasmine-scented cold towels and iced water. The dining experience was also unforgettable. The chef was particularly kind and engaging, always interacting with us after serving the food to ask if it was to our liking. On mornings when we had to rush for our itinerary, the hotel staff would proactively pack the food we needed, including two delicious iced coffees, which was incredibly thoughtful. Lastly, the in-room experience was fantastic. Even though air conditioning isn't common in many places in Siem Reap, the hotel consistently ensured our room was perfectly cool, making for a truly pleasant stay. I only wish I had brought more cash to give the staff more tips to thank them for their hard work and dedication.From€38

This is an older five-star hotel. Our family of four stayed in connecting rooms, which were very spacious, located in a separate building behind the pool. We were the only guests checking in at that time, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The hotel front desk staff and other employees were all smiling and greeted us proactively.
The bathroom was very large, featuring both a bathtub and a standing shower. Because the hotel has a lot of greenery, we occasionally saw small ants in the bathroom, but overall, the cleanliness was excellent. Every day when we returned, the beds were neatly made. The only minor issue was the lack of a clothesline for drying laundry. Luckily, I brought my own, otherwise, our sweat-soaked clothes from Siem Reap would have had no way to dry. The water quality visually appeared cleaner than in Pattaya. Breakfast was just okay, not many options, and the Khmer flavors were milder compared to Thai cuisine. The rice noodles, however, were more to our liking.
Overall, as long as you don't expect a free lunch, Siem Reap is safe, and the people are kind, simple, and eager for tourism to boost their income.From€33

The buffet breakfast was great, with a wide variety of delicious options. We stayed on both weekdays and the weekend. On weekdays, perhaps because there were fewer guests, they only opened a small dining hall. There weren't enough seats, and people had to wait. My group felt obliged to give up our seats to them before we had even finished our meal. On the weekend, they opened the larger hall, and we had plenty of space to enjoy our meal. What I liked most was the swimming pool. It was kept very clean, and I appreciated its length, about 25 meters, with a depth ranging from 2.2 meters to 0.6 meters.From€38

Very beautiful hotel. Was really impressed driving into the driveway. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helped us arrange a tuktuk for the day to see the temples ($25). The gym was air conditioned and huge for a hotel (about the same as a commercial gym). Siem Reap was hot so it was nice to have a nice hotel room to come back to. Only downside is that there is no self service laundry room and the hotel laundry service charges per item of clothing (like $3 for a t shirt and even more for a dress - and no it's not even for dry cleaning!). I thought this was far too expensive. We ended up going to a laundromat 8 mins away which
charged $1 for a kg. It's a shame they don't offer a similar option. However I would stay again.From€64

Our stay at Memoire Palace Resort was a mix of delightful hospitality and frustrating miscommunication.
Positives:
• The staff were consistently warm, polite, and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles.
• The massage itself was excellent — relaxing and skillfully done.
• Resort facilities such as the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and restaurants were top-notch, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay.
Areas for Improvement:
• Communication between the reception and the spa, as well as between staff during shift changes, was poor. Despite confirmed bookings, our itinerary was disrupted multiple times.
• The spa seemed understaffed, often reducing or rescheduling the committed time even after prior confirmation.
• Transportation arrangements were unreliable. After booking a ride to the airport, the agreed price was unexpectedly changed at the last minute, which was disappointing.
Overall Impression:
Memoire Palace Resort has wonderful staff and excellent facilities, but operational inefficiencies in communication and booking management significantly impacted our experience. I'm Japanese. I stayed for 2 nights from July 15, 2026. I previously reviewed this as a good hostel, but I need to correct that. It's an amazing hostel! It was so good that I extended my stay. There are very few downsides, but if I had to name them, the key cards break easily. I stayed a total of 3 days and they broke twice. They were replaced immediately at the front desk, but some people might find it stressful. Also, there's no water dispenser, so you have to ask the bartender on the 4th floor for water. It's free, but a bit of a hassle. Another thing is that the bicycle parking is unclear. When I tried to park outside, someone told me 'not here,' but then at night, the location changed again, and I was directed to a locked garage next door. Recently stayed at the Anjali hotel. Chose the hotel due to the nice pictures advertised. Overall, our stay was very average considering it isn't that cheap of a hotel. The hotel is quite dark, and our pool access room was smaller than anticipated. They don't provide slippers or toothbrush unless you request it. The mosquitos were also a problem (we left covered in bites). The swimming pool is also very cold, even in the Cambodian heat.
Otherwise, the staff are friendly and attentive. They offer a free shuttle to the night market in the evenings (I guess because location isn't perfect). They also packed a breakfast-to-go for us before we went on our sunrise tours.From€61

I absolutely loved the welcome and reception, it even moved me to tears. Mr. Thong offered tea, fried bananas, and a rolled-up towel to clean my hands. Then he explained everything about my stay and even gave me a traditional Cambodian scarf. Since I was wearing a Cape Verde hat, he recognized the team that had played against Spain in the World Cup, and we chatted about it. He offered the option of booking private tours to Angkor Wat through the hotel. He also asked if I would be skipping breakfast any day. I told him I'd be skipping it both days. He was incredibly kind to arrange two breakfast boxes for the next two days since I was waking up early to go to Angkor Wat and then to return to Phnom Penh. I traveled through 4 countries and stayed in 6 hotels on this trip, and this was the best reception I've had on the entire journey, and even in all my travels! 😁🙌🏽😊 A special thank you to the young man who was working the night shift on the 20th and 21st. We just completed our stay at Lotus Blanc Resort and had a wonderful time. The service level is exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive towards our children, making us feel very welcome.
The only minor issue was the lack of clarity regarding the dining discount for guests. We only discovered at checkout that the discount could only be applied once, rather than throughout the entire stay. It would be helpful if this policy could be explained more clearly upon arrival to avoid any misunderstanding.

We arrived at FCC in the evening, and the front desk staff, Pov, warmly welcomed us. I really love the hotel's Southeast Asian garden design and its location – it’s quiet yet conveniently situated, and being by the river is perfect for a stroll. I highly recommend visiting the bar for a drink; they even have live performances. For breakfast, there are both Western options and noodle soups. We even received a small gift at check-out.
