Originally planned for 5 nights, but there were no restaurants or convenience stores around the hostel, so I stayed for 2 nights and moved to the downtown area. The location was a bit disappointing for me as a short-term traveler, but the atmosphere of the hostel was so good, and the owner Atsushi Award and other staff were all friendly, so the location was not important.
The yabiji skin diving with the Atsushi prize and the Pao prize that took me to the farm to show beautiful flowers at night are all memorable. It was so comfortable for the two days I spent in Koa.
It's a pity that I couldn't say hello because I checked out early in the morning. Next time I come to Miyakojima again, I'm going to stay in Koa, so I'll say hello at that time.

Traveled Solo. It was like a homely experience. There was a problem with language. But that doesnt affect your stay. Located in a calm and peaceful place. You need a Car or taxi to move around. They do even provide rent a car service.

I bought Miyakojima's special products cheaply at a nearby supermarket and had them prepare their own meals. Thanks to that, I could sleep soundly at night without falling into a shortage of vegetables while traveling. The facilities were well maintained and clean and comfortable.
Incorporating the culture of Yuntaku on Miyakojima, one of the two nights had a dinner brought by guests and former guests at dinner, and participated. It was a fun time to talk well and touch things I didn't know. I was able to rent a car cheaply, and there was a transfer from the inn to the airport, which was helpful. I would like to repeat it when I come to Miyakojima again.

I think choosing this hotel on Miyakojima for my honeymoon was the best choice :) The facilities, programs, and view were all perfect, and I was happy every time I opened my eyes. The room cleaning service and other programs held daily by the hotel itself, such as yoga, bath salt making, and sunset delight (champagne and cocktails provided), are attractive points that make you not bored if you have to stay at the hotel in bad weather! The breakfast was so delicious and the view was so great that I definitely plan to visit again if I go to Miyako again. However, since it is located on Irabu Island, if you plan on moving around Miyakojima a lot or prefer the city, I recommend splitting your stay into several periods!From€420

Therefore, I booked the best and most expensive hotel in Okinawa and the most expensive set - St. Geely. A year later, I returned to the Rosewood Miyakajima and was once again captivated by its unique scenery. However, compared to my previous wonderful experience, this stay, while still featuring stunning views, was filled with an undeniable sense of disappointment.
The room remained clean to a good standard, spotlessly spotless. Against the backdrop of this breathtaking natural environment, minor imperfections were easily overlooked. However, for a hotel costing over 13,000 RMB per night, the welcome amenities felt incredibly cheap and didn't match the quality expected at this price.
The room's smart control system was also poorly designed. The curtains/sheers were controlled as a single unit, making independent control extremely inconvenient. In the afternoon, I wanted to take a nap in the room, while my friend wanted to read in the living room. Because the curtains couldn't be adjusted individually, the lighting couldn't meet both our needs, ultimately ruining my sleep and leaving me feeling quite annoyed. Furthermore, the sliding door leading to the outside was noticeably problematic, requiring considerable force to open; the attention to detail was lacking. Upon closer inspection, the outdoor hot tub reveals layers of tiny foreign objects floating on the surface.
Both meals during my stay were at the hotel. The food quality was undeniably excellent, with exceptionally fresh ingredients. However, the service was disappointing, falling short of Rosewood's expected standards and even appearing disconnected. Each time we entered the restaurant, no staff member proactively greeted us or guided us to our seats. On the second evening, we waited at our seats for nearly ten minutes without any assistance. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, we had to call out to a staff member for a menu.
That evening, I reported this unpleasant experience to the front desk manager, but received no response whatsoever. Even after checking out, I received no feedback or apology from the hotel. Is this management style and service level truly healthy? Is it gradually eroding the trust and goodwill of loyal customers?
Based on these two experiences, I must re-evaluate whether the Rosewood Miyakojima should remain on my travel list.From€1,400

The public areas are beautiful, and the rooms in the Coral Wing are spacious with modern bathroom facilities. I stayed for 3 nights, and even though it wasn't sunny every day, the ocean was still stunning. The hotel has several gift shops with a great selection, including Miyako Island's famous Yukishio (snow salt) biscuits, so you don't need to buy them elsewhere. The Shell restaurant offers great value for money, and the stars visible from the 9th-floor rooftop at night are absolutely breathtaking. After seeing a recommendation from a YouTuber, I decided to stay at this hotel on the last day of my trip. It turned out to be a wonderful, comfortable stay that exceeded my expectations, completely relieving me of my travel fatigue.
First of all, the room was extremely well-equipped with amenities and was extremely clean and comfortable. Of particular note was the large public bath, where I could refresh myself after a long day of travel. It was truly helpful for me to be able to relax both body and mind on my last night.

It turned out that 90% of the island was also out of power, but the hotel has long been there. The generator was arranged to be available immediately, so it only stopped for five minutes. This was the best value hotel of our trip. Everything about the hotel was great, justifying the price. One highlight was the receptionist who helped us book a restaurant in Japanese; the service was excellent.
