The service is extremely friendly and strives to please the customer, from reception to other areas (swimming pool, gardens, bar, restaurant, etc.).
As for the rooms, if you have the opportunity, stay in a room with a sea view. They are spacious, with large balconies and have all the amenities that allow for a comfortable stay. Impeccably clean, good mattress, pillows, bathrobes and perfectly working minibar. The decoration of the rooms, as indeed of the entire hotel, is very pleasant, however, care must be taken not to neglect its modernization/maintenance with regard to small details (walls, shower glass, wood, etc.) .
The breakfast is one of the most complete and quality (both in terms of offering, products and service) that we have experienced in Africa and, even, compared to many 5* European hotels.
Good location within the city of Maputo, the hotel restaurant has a good menu, and there are several restaurants in the area with very good options.

The hotel is more than 100 years old, Portuguese style, the elevator is very unique, you need to push the elevator door open by yourself.
The breakfast is quite rich.
The receptionist can speak English and is very friendly.
The sea view is great.
