The motel in the middle of the country field is attentive, but there is no view, only the field, but the room is very comfortable, the bed is very comfortable, but there is no place to eat around and you have to drive a little farther.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Tainan Railway Station. As an established five-star hotel, there's no need to worry about cleanliness or service. My room on the 30th floor, facing the train station, offered a clear view of the Tainan coastline and skyline, which was absolutely beautiful. The fitness center, sauna facilities, and pool were all excellent. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch, providing fresh slippers and even tidying up the room again.
Holding it to the higher standards of a five-star hotel, I'll nitpick a few areas that, if improved, would make it even better: Firstly, the hairdryer was underpowered and old – a 1200w model from 2018. It took almost 20 minutes to dry my hair, which was quite annoying. Secondly, the front desk hotline. I called the front desk about five times, and twice my calls went unanswered. Once was at 9 PM and another time at 11 AM, neither of which are unusual hours. This kind of issue shouldn't happen. Thirdly, the hotel facilities. Perhaps because it's an older hotel, there were slight signs of aging in the room's amenities, and the main light control was a bit inconvenient.
Overall, however, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff's attitude was impeccable, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.From€118

The bathroom and overall room were clean enough, except for the bedding. I found several clear-ish white stains on my bedding. Although they were dried stains, I still didn't want to sleep with them. Great place to stay in Tainan. Super close to the train station. Lovely quiet room at the end of the corridor overlooking the (empty) swimming pool. Friendly service, and a nice touch with snacks available at 9pm. The hotel is older (still need a physical key to unlock the room door) but it's in great condition. We didn't eat there, so cannot comment on the food or restaurant. We thought it was very reasonably priced for our Sunday night stay and would happily book again.From€39

The hotel location was amazing! Just 10 to 15 walk away from many famous Tainan sites like Hayashi, Chikan tower.
The room had a sati and a wet and dry bathroom. Ruru the receptionist also tried her best to accommodate to our requests (my dad didn't want rooms on 13th floor). House keeper, Kiki, did a great job in tidying up the room. Will definitely go for a lakeshore hotel when I am in taiwan!From€92

It was a little disappointing when the receptionist was being quite unprofessional as I approached her for a spare room card. She told me that the guest was British after I told her my surname meaning that she didn't consider that a Chinese person can be British, how backwards and ****** such behavior this is. Lack of exposure might be the answer ;however, I was expecting a lot more from a 4 star establishment.
Must I stress that the reason we conversed in Mandarin is a respect to the local staff yet it always backfires in situation like this. More training should be provided.From€19

Tucked away in a local residential area, this hotel is a tranquil gem, just a 5-10 minute walk from Wusheng Night Market.
They offer both hostel-style dorms and private double/quad rooms. The common areas on the top floor and ground floor are comfortable and versatile. Our double room had a cool industrial design – clean, stylish, and very comfortable!
For the price of 1500-2000 NTD, the double room was an absolute steal. It came with a bathtub and a bidet, plus a genuinely separate wet and dry area (each had its own independent enclosure). The room size was perfect and very comfortable overall.
The only downside is its location in a small alley, meaning no on-site parking. If you're driving, you'll have to find street parking nearby.From€25

The room is huge! As a solo traveler, it can be abit too big haha but I am not complaining.
Breakfast provided is also good with tons of variety. Bed is cozy, bathroom is clean and room comes with a studying desk, a small table and a sofa. The front desk staff were really friendly, polite, and always smiling! The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. I saw some comments about low water pressure, but it was actually fine, not too weak at all. I loved that the sink was outside the bathroom, which was really convenient! The location is also great, close to the station and quite central. We mostly took taxis, which were super cheap at around NT$85-100 for a few minutes' drive, saving us a lot of walking. Plus, the breakfast was pretty good; I tried both the Western and Japanese options, and I personally preferred the Japanese one!
