Our holiday home in Kalkar on the Lower Rhine is located in the district Hönnepel, only a few 100 meters from the Rhine. It can accommodate 5 people (plus 1 toddler in travel cot) and due to the location in a dead end a lot of rest for recreation.

The 120 square meter house is of high quality and has on the ground floor a hall, guest toilet, a laundry room with washing machine and a spacious area with living room, dining room and kitchen. The entire house is enclosed by a garden and a privet hedge, which offers much privacy. The underfloor heating throughout the house ensures that you do not get cold feet even in winter.

The nearby Kernwasserwunderland is like the Rhine within a few minutes walk. Nearby attractions include the Wisseler lake with the Wisseler dunes and the Rhine promenades z. B. in Rees and Emmerich. The Dutch border is within 15 minutes by car.

Our holiday home is for our guests starting point for hikes and explorations of the surrounding area, but also for cycling on the two-country route of the Euregio Rhein-Maas or the manor route to Maas and Niers.

Welcome to Wissel's last tobacco barn. The dune village of Wissel is located between meadows and water, the Rhine and the "Wisseler See" bathing lake. Where cigar leaves hung from the ceiling until the 1950s, you can now unwind in our lovingly restored, loft-like barn.

The listed, loft-like accommodation sleeps 4 with 2 double beds on two galleries. In the lower, open-plan living area, a further sleeping place can be made up on the sofa bed. A baby travel cot is also available. The modern kitchen is well equipped so that you can cater for yourself. A fireplace provides relaxation on cold days, the cottage garden on warm days. The bathroom with ground-level shower has been completely rebuilt in the barn.
