Very cute hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the bamboo holiday. The owner of the hotel was very welcoming and friendly. On the day we planned to go hike in the mountains, he drove us to the bus station and we took the bus up the mountain to the funicular which took us to a peak in the huangshan mountains (it costs money to go up and for the entry ticket so don’t forget your passports). The water pressure for the shower was super good which was great when we came back all sweaty from the hike. Every morning we had breakfast at the hotel and it was plentiful and delicious. If you plan on staying at the foot of the mountain, this hotel is a great choice.

The power shower was amazing and very warm. The only marks are lost for noise - you are right on the roadside and it’s very busy during the tourist season. Expect loud honking vehicles waking you up from 6am. If staying, request a room facing the hotel rear if possible. DO NOT get a room with a balcony - the door frame let’s in more street noise.
