I had not such a real relaxing time.I had been put in a hall way where the noise of anything in this area that was or happen the go through was very loud and noises from all around me were heard, upstairs the people possibly on back of room people from side of me and even laundry.I had been woken up with real loud steeping and jumping from the second floor.Ive never experienced being caught in this from hotels I stay and it will be my last.I don't recommend you let the front people put you somewhere strange in the hotel ask for second floor.By the way I really stay on higher floors then second I don't know why I was fogged about the front desk person convincing me that the room was special.Oh I know because she said she upgraded me to a room with two beds,which I think I had already requested anyway I'll think twice about this place.But if I'm in dire straight I'll neen the second floor please.

We loved the overall ambience, the friendliness of the crew at the breakfast place, particularly JC who was attentive and engaging. However, the cleanliness of the room was abhorrent. On our first night, we found dirt, stains and what looked like dried poop on one of the 2 beds when we were able to tuck ourselves to bed, at past midnight. We had to call the night shift housekeeper to change. While he was apologetic about it, the hotel did nothing to check on is the next day. We expected the hotel to follow up on this but no one followed up with us at all despite us saying 5 nights with them. This isn’t how Marriott should be.

It's a rare hotel in the United States that cleans the room every day. You need to swipe your card to get into the elevator to reach the floor, so it's safe. It's close to the beach, the bedding is very comfortable, and you can get drinking water from the front desk every day. If you score a full score of 100, I can give it 85-90 points. I didn't buy breakfast at the hotel. There is Starbucks nearby, and there is also a cafe run by two girls called Kuma across the street, which can solve the breakfast problem. Dissatisfactory points: 1. The hotel shower head and bathtub facilities are a bit old, like antiques from the last century 2 If you take Uber and Uber eats, because the hotel is located at the intersection of two streets, many people can't find it. It is recommended to walk out and locate 1051 Columbia street, by the way, Ctrip's address is wrong, and the official website uses Columbia street as the address. Ctrip uses agents overseas, and the rooms assigned are either on low floors or in remote locations, which are relatively poor.

The reception could not give me more details about the late checkout offer that I had received via email so it looks like there is some disconnect between the online operation vs the service staff at the hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the promenade and the old town. Comfortable bath and room. Good swimming pool. At the entrance they gave a voucher for kayaking or biking for an hour. Also vouchers for two bottles of water. The situation that happened to us, the room was with the smell of dampness, that it was impossible to breathe, after a complaint it was quickly changed to us.

The location of the hotel is very good, next to the lively ”Little Italy” dining street, close to the attractions such as the aircraft carrier USS Midway and Victory Kiss and the light rail station. However, the sound of planes taking off and landing at the nearby airport is relatively loud, and the hotel facilities are relatively shabby. There is no coffee machine and it is not convenient to drink hot water.

There is a complimentary breakfast voucher, Western breakfast, ok. The hotel is traditional Spanish and has a very nice look. The location is very close to the airport in the old town. The old town itself is an attraction. The bars, restaurants and specialty shops are very interesting and very lively at night. I had a good meal with my boyfriend at a Mexican restaurant near the Sheriff Museum. The room itself is large enough but soundproof. American hotel guests should bring their own slippers and toothbrushes because the hotel generally does not provide these.

The location of the Youth Hostel is in Little Italy. There are so many restaurants nearby that you can't finish eating. It is also a good place for tourists to come out at night. The room has heating, the cabinet is a bit small, you have to bring your own lock, the bed is divided into the lower bunk, the upper bunk, a bit short, it is easy to bump your head. The kitchen is very large and the kitchenware is complete, superb. You have to own pancakes for breakfast, and oatmeal is provided. Tea and coffee are free. The atmosphere of the Youth Hostel is very good. If you live on the second floor, there is only one toilet, so you have to run downstairs often. WiFi is often disconnected and unstable. The colleagues in the Youth Hostel are very nice and have a good attitude. There is a laundry room, but only one machine. Still a good hostel, well received.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in San Diego and it was fine overall. The location is great, just a short walk to the cruise terminal, which was really convenient. However, the elevator is very slow, so be prepared for that. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are a few things that could be better.

This hotel is the best hotel in the San Diego area that we have stayed in. You’re about a 5 minute drive to old town and 15 from downtown area and just steps from mission bay beach. Celebrated an anniversary here and the staff made it even more memorable. Arcelio took really good care of us. He let us check in early and got us a beautiful room ocean front and close to the pool/bar/restaurant. He even stepped off and gave a tour of the resort and invited us down for complimentary s’mores later in the evening . Katie concierge over heard our talk and invited me and my gf down for a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. The rooms were very nice . Included a table and a lounge type couch inside with a balcony over looking the water . Guests next to us enjoyed their private bonfires which we will definitely do our next stay. We ordered room service from the covewood restaurant and they did not disappoint. Try their pizzas ! Thank you Mission Bay Resort!

This is an all-suite hotel. We were assigned a quiet room on the 12th floor with a great view. The breakfast was plentiful, and you could order freshly made omelets. Interestingly, only the made-to-order omelet station required a card swipe; the rest of the breakfast area was open access with no one monitoring it. The Avis rental counter on the ground floor helped me sort out some issues with my car. As a result, I decided not to swap vehicles and just drive it for one more day before returning it. The Chinese restaurant downstairs served generous portions; two dishes were ample for two people. We didn't visit the business center across the street because it was a bit of a walk. Instead, we ate at the Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel; it had lovely decor and the food was delicious. Parking at $42 is quite expensive. They provide a card to display on your dashboard, identifying you as a hotel guest, which allows you to park in the surface lot directly opposite the Avis rental spots. I preferred not to use the parking garage, and when I asked the front desk, they confirmed it was perfectly fine to park there. This made it very convenient for unloading luggage, especially with multiple bags. Overall, I was very satisfied with the room; it certainly met 4-star standards.

If you are a pet owner this is an exceptional property and even otherwise it's a hidden gem. Surprisingly low vagrant activity on the property and the outside lighting is fair. Probably why the management can be nosey and pushy. You get a used car salesman feel at the front desk but, the stay is worth it, if they don't become passive aggressive with you. It does have that California 'control everything' type nuances....Rooms are clean, you won't be afraid to get into the beds or use the furniture. Small accommodating pool and staff doesn't make you uncomfortable using it. Cool location overlooking dog beach in OB, if you are lucky enough to get the ocean facing side. I do recommend this property.
