I personally didn't experience any obvious disadvantages Overall, it's not too much problem for Samsung (much better than many unworthy Samsung hotels in Europe ....... but there is one thing to explain .... Trip.com has a problem with the cover of the old city that ibis... nothing else.

|1.28km from city centerI arrived at the hotel at less than 10 in the morning. The receptionist was very nice and immediately gave the key to check in. (Few hotels are willing to check in early). The only downside is that there is no elevator, but I still carry my luggage on the 2nd floor. The room was originally known to be not air-conditioned, but there was an electric fan. not bad. About 4-5 minutes from the train station.

But the room was really clean, could well sleep in the bed - what more? I can also see a few limitations (bet lamp and mirror lamp at the washing basin both do not work, partly noise from other rooms, toilets on the hall not always clean). All is not a big problem, for €21 in the single room, I just think the room was really clean.

Location is ideal, like 2’ away from the train station, the old town gates and the opera. Our room was very spacious overlooking the old town and at the same time so quiet. The room layout and style is very modern and practical, everything is brand new and spotless, the bathroom was also very nice with good amenities and very good lighting. The breakfast room was also very chic and spacious and breakfast selection was pretty generous considering the room price with a very good selection of hot and cold dishes and good coffee quality. Check in and check out was easy and despite the hotel being busy because of the holidays season you didn’t feel any hustle around. Absolutely recommended!!!

Amenities: Unfortunately one set of towels was missing in the double room. Very strict anti-smoking policy (top!) for which you sign a document for approval when you check in. Very good are the isolated windows, they keep the noise from the train station very well. I would like to emphasise especially the friendliness of the staff at the reception! Breakfast ok, the tables a little tightly placed. For vegetarians there was even a lift, here would be more selection desirable.

The room was on the basic side ( eg no coffee/ tea making facilities), no slippers etc but it was very clean- especially bathroom - I have to say very rarely bathrooms are cleaned so well in the hotels. The windows can be opened so that’s a bonus for people who like fresh air. The breakfast had a number of options to choose from., I really liked scrambled eggs and their latte. All staff at the hotel were very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Nuremberg.

|0.34km from city centerWe (3 generations) were to visit the city for 3 days at the Burghotel. We chose the hotel because it offers a pool + sauna. The expectations have also been fully met. The water was warm. There is also a small fitness area. The sauna - available from 17:45 p.m., was a great supplement. The rooms are absolutely ok - not big, but we didn't expect that. The bathroom looks new. The glass slide door is quite practical, even if it doesn't just contain noise. Breakfast was ok. Little minus: The coffee was not so hot, the sauce and cheese cut looked pretty packed from the supermarket. The Croissants were not entirely baked. So there would be some air up. It wasn't so important to me that I wanted to monize it. All are very friendly and premature. Questions will be answered with pleasure and patience and wishes will be fulfilled as far as possible. We would go back.

|0.32km from city centerPros: Location: The location is excellent, in the Center of old town. Next to lots of Resto’s, supermarket and small shops, walkable to all main sites in the old town. Staffs: The reception is super nice, very friendly and courteous, gave us a lot of tips of where to eat and see in the area. Breakfast was very good, and staffs are super nice. Parking: there are at least 3-4 parking around, we parked at the end of the street, 20 euro for 24 hrs. Cons: The hotel is in a small alley, kinda like a home which you need to ring to enter, reception is on 2nd floor, there is elevator in the building. the alley smelled cigarette, maybe they should simply move the ashtray out, so it will be more pleasant. Room is spacious but old style, nothing fancy. Please be aware there is NO air conditioning. There is a small fan in the room. We arrived at Nuremberg and it was around 27c , the room was hot, no choice but to leave the window open and fan on the whole night to sleep. The room was quiet though. So if you are ok with no air con, room was ok.

Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir nicht mit Frühstück oder ähnliches gebucht haben. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die Fenstervorhänge hatten leider dunkle Flecken. Dies wurde dem Personal beim Check-out mitgeteilt. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung.

When we arrived at check in time ,our room was not ready, so we were offered complimentary drink of our choice from the bar. We found personal handwritten greeting card from the owners a nice touch. The room was clean comfortable, air con ,wi-fi no objections. There are objects of art in the hotel and nice garden where you can seat in the evening or have your breakfast. Breakfast was average. The idea of single portions is quite interesting ,but there should more choice. The hotel offers car parking ,but it's public parking located near railway station. You can get there driving around few blocks, because the streets are one way. The parking is 4 minutes from the hotel by foot, we've got instruction from the hotel how to get there. The price for one car is 20€ per 24 hrs, but you pay less if you pay in the hotel (15€) for week days and 7€ for weekends. The Hotel is very conveniently located for sightseeing the Old Town is a2-3 minutes walk .Hop on Hop off route starts round the corner.

|4.5km from city centerWir waren während eines heißen Wochenendes im August im Gasthaus Rottner, weil wir uns Nürnberg anschauen wollten und als Romantikhotel-Fans ein passendes Hotel suchten. Die ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums kam uns sehr entgegen und wir erhielten bei der Ankunft das Deluxe Zimmer 33 im gegenüber liegenden Gästehaus. Das war vom Architekten sehr kreativ gestaltet worden, denn die runden Bauelemente und Sitzmöbel passten ausgezeichnet zueinander. Selbst die Glastür zu dem modern und großzügig ausgestatteten Bad war halbrund. Sogar die Minibar befand sich in einer runden Konsole auf Rollen, auf der der 37 Zoll- Fernseher stand. So ließ sich der in die passende Richtung drehen. Die Minibar war spartanisch gefüllt, aber dafür im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Die Kleiderschränke waren geschickt in die Wände integriert und enthielten genügend Stauraum. Die elektrische Ausrüstung war sehr gut und ein Schreibtisch mit Lampe und Steckdosen war auch vorhanden. Gewünscht hätten wir uns allerdings eine Klimaanlage, denn die Temperaturen an diesem Wochenende hielten sich um 33°C und der zugestellte Ventilator brachte nur wenig Erleichterung. Der Internetzugang über das passwortgeschützte WLAN war ordentlich, denn ich habe im Download eine Übertragungsrate von 28400 kbit/s und im Upload sogar 34200 kbit/ gemessen. Am meisten bedauerten wir aber, dass das Restaurant am Sonntag und Montag geschlossen war, denn so konnten wir die Sterneküche überhaupt nicht genießen. Ein wenig bayerische Gasthausatmosphäre konnten wir lediglich in dem Biergarten erleben, der glücklicherweise am Sonntagnachmittag wegen des guten Wetters geöffnet war. Das Frühstücksbüffet mit einer hervorragenden Kaffeemaschine entsprach einem 4-Sterne-Hotel, es war nicht üppig und fast alles war in kleinen Portionsgläsern gekühlt abgepackt. Das war geschickt gelöst, denn so blieb auf den Tellern der Gäste nichts übrig. Sonderwünsche wurden von dem sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal gerne erfüllt. Alles in allem hat mir das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und ich werde bei einem weiteren Besuch von Nürnberg mit Sicherheit wieder dort übernachten, aber in jedem Fall nicht sonntags oder montags, wenn das Restaurant geschlossen ist.
