A few stalls are right right outside, so very convenient for lugging your belongings.It is also walking distances to a few restaurants and a public bath is close by. The staff Mr Lee greeted us and is very friendly and informative. Our room is located on the 2/F with a balcony. Reasonable spacious, comfortable twin bed and sheets with good size bath and a table for sitting and space to open up luggages. Its has double glass and to our surprise not noisy at all. We had one of the best night sleep in Wakayama. Price is very reasonable. The day we stayed I was not well and it was raining so missed the chance to swim in the famous Shirahama beach. Would definitely stay in the same place if I have the chance to return.

We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

The hot springs is really comfortable and facing the town. Room is average as we booked the standard room but they do have rooms with balcony. Highly recommend! The dinner meal is served Italian and taste is yummy with quality. Morning breakfast is extremely delicious compared to other resort hotel. They serve fresh sushi, fruit, juice…… and separate three different sessions to eat. In summer, swimming pool is open to use & gym room is available. When we leave the hotel, two gentlemen help us put the luggages inside the car and farewell us until our car totally away from hotel. Really enjoyable the stay and recommend who come to Shirahama.

|2.67km from city centerI stayed at the dome house that seems to be Albero Bello in Italy with four children in the popular village. It was just below the high pressure line, but it was a dome house near the entrance, and the infant did not have to worry about other rooms even if it ran around the dome, and it was a fun night. A lot of dome houses from the observatory can be enjoyed day and night. I enjoyed the hot springs from before 8 o'clock in the hot water of the katata that can be walked.
