The service was amazing! I was checked in by Anna, who greeted us with warm welcome, and the room was ready just right at time so we didn’t wait too long. Also, the Manager, Jennifer, who welcomed us with a surprising bouquet! Since it is our anniversary trip, and the hotel remembered the note, that was really sweet💖 The room was clean and stylish, however, the soundproof wasn’t good enough, so we kept hearing the noise from upstair(floor 11), which made our sleeping quality worse. This is the only part that I wish the hotel can improve.

I have booked a VIP room costed about SGD 100 per nite for 2 nites. The photo shows a jacuzzi in the room! Upon check-in the room, I found the room a bit dark with dark walls, even with the curtains of the doors to the balcony opened. I have to repaired the right bedside light to make it lit. The TV remote has run out of batteries & the hair dryer is not working. I have to ask the house keeping to change it. The room is spacious with a outdoor balcony for smokers, as there is an ashtray there despite of my booking request for a non-smoking room. The balcony is facing a white wall of the next building!?! So no nice view from the balcony. Double basins are good but the jacuzzi is not working! Just treat it as an oversized bathtub. Feedback to the front counter & the answer is all jacuzzis in the hotel are all not working!?! This should be stated at the point of booking. I felt like being scammed to book a non-working jacuzzi VIP room! There are no face towels, just a medium sized towel & 2 large bath towels. The white floor towel is already stained & wet when I checked in. The aircon is weak even I have set it to full blast. However, the room is quiet without the infamous Vietnam traffic noise. There is no nite light leading to the bathroom in the nite, I have to switch on & off the lights when using it during sleep. The toilet bowl is located in the dark corner without lights. Do avoid throwing toilet paper into the bowl which would choked it. I learn it the hard way! The digital lock of the door sometimes refuses to lock. So do check if the door is lock when going out. The location of the hotel is perfect facing the famous Ben Thanh market. Shopping, eating & money changing are not a problem. There’s is a pharmacy in the left of the hotel & jewellers at the right for money changing. Most jewellers are unofficial moneychangers. This would be my first & last stay with this hotel,as there are plenty of other hotels nearby if I wanted to stay near the Ben Thanh market for my future trips. I do not mind paying but do not scam me.

Sollte man überdenken.

The hotel is very cost-effective, the rooms are clean and the toilets are large. Maybe because of the epidemic, roads are being built, so there are few people nearby. I think it should be very lively. It is still very close to the city, so it is more convenient.

If you run out of money, money changer is just around the corner. The hotel room and toilet are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is worth to avail. Great hotel staff. I will definitely book again in this hotel.

We stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.

Very modern, new, clean, and neat hotel. Nice balcony for the Family Room. Bathroom comes with rainforest shower that is strong. Room has a flat screen TV, mini fridge, and safe. Many eateries just downstairs the hotel, including Xoi Ga Ut Map Number One (famous for sticky chicken rice), Bun Rieu Ganh (famous for tomato soup noodles), Ben Thanh Market with lots of Vietnamese food options, and the Japanese restaurants along a certain street. Convenience Store Circle K is downstairs the hotel. Many places of interest within walking distance of this hotel eg Takashimaya, Notre Dame Cathedral, HCMC Post Office, Independence Palace, War Raments Museum. Very friendly and helpful hotel security staff and front desk staff. We were served a vet nice welcome drink that tasted like lime juice. Hotel rates are very value for money. Highly recommend to stay here!

Pros: - Very friendly female owner at reception, also 24/7. - I felt safe as a solo female traveller. - Room was nice and cool with a strong fan (I didn’t need a/c which is rare). - Clean. - Chain and lock on door. - Good location as it’s quiet. I was on the first floor looking out towards the road. - Used as a layover for 11 hours. - Has soap, shampoo etc and minibar. Nice to know: - They don’t speak English, but tbh, it’s not necessary anyway if you’re just checking in and out. - Bring an eye mask if you prefer complete darkness. - You have to carry up your luggage just to get to reception, but I had two bags and there was someone there that helped me. There’s an elevator to the floors. Great value for money and purpose!

Share this horrible accommodation experience with others This hotel is new and has only been in operation for a month. The price is mid-to-high compared to Japan Street. The google reviews all have good reviews. After staying here this time, I want to share my real experience with everyone. Let’s talk about the advantages of this stay first: 1. The hardware equipment is very new. 2.The room is very clean Now about the disadvantages: 1. There are very few breakfast options. Normally for the price of accommodation, breakfast should not be so simple. The breakfast provided by this hotel is more like the breakfast provided by cheap Vietnamese hotels. 2. Wifi will automatically disconnect at 12 a.m. and will be restored after about 10-15 minutes. 3. The hotel will experience abnormal power outages. I often wake up from the heat in the middle of the night and find that the air conditioner automatically shuts off due to the hotel's power outage and I need to turn it back on again. The scariest thing I encountered during my stay this time was when I finished breakfast in the hotel at 9:30 in the morning and was about to go back to my room to continue resting, the hotel's power went out again. When I saw that the elevator also lost power, I could only be glad that I was not in the elevator. Although the hotel said it would be very fast. There was electricity, but it was out of service from 9:30 until 11 o'clock. I asked friends who lived in a nearby hotel and said that the electricity there was normal. It seemed that it was simply a problem with this hotel. At 11 o'clock, I felt that the hotel experience was too bad and wanted to check out. When I went to the counter to check in, the service staff told me to wait for about 5 minutes for the housekeeper to check the room. After I waited in the sofa area for 15 minutes, I saw that the counter staff was always behind me. I was chatting with a Vietnamese customer. I couldn't help but asked fiercely whether I had finished checking out. The counter staff looked at me and asked, ”Have you taken any drinks from the refrigerator?” When I said no, I was told OK, you can go... This accommodation experience is one of the best. I will not choose this accommodation again in the future.

If you are considering to rent an apartment from Glenwood or use their Resort, stop here unless you want to pay $300 USD a month in electricity. I am an American living in Ho Chi Minh for 2 years. This place took total advantage of me and my fiance during the hardcore lockdown in Ho Chi Minh in Septmber of 2021. During the no go outside order by the Vietnamese government this place forcrmed us to come outside (by turning off our electricity and water) they forced us to cross the street to pay our rent and our Electric bill which was a 7 million electric ($309 USD) bill which is 5 times higher than the average electric bill. Check back soon and I will be attaching a link to our YouTube video showing how Shady that place is. When we came across the street to pay the bill we were also filming and they told us to turn off our cameras. We refused, in my experience the only people who don't want to be caught on film are those who are doing something wrong. The YouTube video will also show our electric meter spinning like crazy, so fast you cannot even see the black marker on the turning wheel. They installed a new electric meter in our unit and you can hear it grinding the gears at times because it can't even go that fast. They forced us to pay a six million electric bill the next month because we could not leave due to the hardcore lockdown and Ho Chi Minh. Avoid Glenwood Residence and Apartments in Glenwood Resort at all cost. Greenwood was given the opportunity to refund all of our electricity except for an average bill to avoid a one-star review. They failed to heed the warning. I am also doing negative reviews on all Resort sites next. The had the chance to do the right thing, return my full deposit and all my electric charges except a fair amount, they declined. This review will their Karma.

Just a few steps away from the lively ben thanh market. Wonderful night life surrounded by many cafes, massage places and good food options. There are traffic lights in this area making it easy and safe to cross the streets. But disappointed that the hotel lobby isn't air conditioned and that 1 of the 2 showers in each of the connecting rooms doesn't come with hot water. Only 2 small bottles of water free, it wasn't clear and they charged for the rest :/

I love it here! First of all, the staff was great and kind. Easy check in. Although the manager is not always resident, it will contact you in advance through the communication software (I use what's app) and reply any questions quickly. The location is great too, very nice place, close to the city center! Walking distance to the main attractions of Ho Chi Minh City's First County where you want to go. The top floor is equipped with washing machine and dryer, free self-service laundry, and a comfortable balcony. The room has a kitchenette, pots and bowls of kitchenware and an induction cooker microwave. Great shower, fast wireless network. A large water dispenser is provided in the lobby, providing clean, hot or room temperature drinking water! I will stay in Ho Chi Minh City next time and highly recommended.

Forgot to take photos before we messed the room up! Location is good if you want a quieter place away from the bars etc, there is a train track right behind the hotel but we only heard one train in the morning, so it didn’t bother us. The Odys is a tricky one for us to review. Overall we stayed 3 nights during our trip, 2 nights together then a break and a further night after a trip to the mekong. The hotel itself is quite nice.. nothing really wrong with it as such, the rooms were clean and had everything in there like all the others we've stayed in during our time in Vietnam. I wouldn't really call the Odys a ”Boutique” hotel but that's a matter of opinion.. but where we feel the Odys was a let down in this regard was that ”personal” feeling. Earlier in our trip we stayed in many places and all of them without question made us feel like we'd been before.. and in the case of multiple nights and multiple visits indeed the return welcome felt very personal (Bonsella.. you are the best in this regard during our trip!). The staff in reception were pleasant and polite but but it did seem very ”clinical” in approach? Maybe the city thing? But in our opinion it was a little too sterile feeling for a ”boutique” hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, with the usual options available but the staff in the restaurant were our least preferred of the whole trip (anywhere in Vietnam), they were disorganised to say the least.. There were plenty of them around but service wasn't exactly the best. We did take advantage of one of the offers for the restaurant one night, booking a table by the side for a good city view. When we arrived that evening we find that the table we booked had been given to someone else, and in fact there was no mention of our booking. We waited and before long another suitable table became available. After eating we got the bill, and queried why the offer wasn't applied. We were told in order to get the offer we needed to book a table beforehand, this was by the very same person who led us to the table after finding out our booked table had already been given to someone else. It was sorted out, but this is just one of many examples of the staff not being the best. Oddly enough it was also the only place in Vietnam where we struggled with staff not being able to speak English (very few seemed to?), this took us by surprise as even in the remote locations in the north this didn't seem an issue. So In summary, we think this hotel is ok for the night, but that boutique feel is not there, its much more of a large hotel kind of feeling.

#周边环境# The main road is a small intersection, the alley is in the innermost, and the left side is squatting. Very difficult to find, because Ctrip and google mpa's address is somewhat wrong. #酒店环境# belongs to the house of the house, the store door is a clothing store, very small. After you go in, you can ask the people inside. #酒店服务# I don’t know if it’s a communication error or how, my girlfriend is Vietnamese. We rented a motorcycle in the evening. At night, the hotel’s people said that they would be next to the door and saw security. The result was not the hotel. Next is a lot of trouble, as follows ↓ #停# The hotel does not provide parking service, and did not give us a clear explanation. As a result, the next morning, the car was “lost” (there was also a delay in going to the consulate). Finally, at noon, it was found that the so-called urban management was dragging the car away. And did not leave any notes. The car was also rented, and the penalty was paid. The car was not taken back, and finally the car owner was asked to handle it. It’s really a mistake, it’s speechless... I want to cry without tears. If there is no such thing, I would recommend this homestay.

Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. The taxi, which dropped us at this hotel, double charged us. Hotel staff were super friendly and helped to resolve the issue. We booked an excursion from Klook and they came right on time to pick us up.

RiverGate, the location of the hotel apartment is great, has been staying many times, located in the 4th county, crossing the bridge is the bustling Saigon 1 county, there is 7-11 and supermarket downstairs, there is a swimming pool and gym, the manager of Zhou Apartment service is great, and there are many room types to choose from, This time I stayed in 4 1 bedroom 1 living room 1 bathroom 1 kitchen type rooms. Although it is a pity that my friends are not on the same floor, the service is really great. There are 2 or 3 room types in the house type. I will definitely choose to stay in 😊😊😊👍👍👍👍 next time I have the opportunity.

Nice room which is spacious and comfortable. Not a lot of shops or places near the hotel. Location to the airport is ok. Nice roof area but it is messy and cluttered. This hotel touched the borderline of a very good two star hotel and an ok 3 star hotel.

My stay at the apartment was absolutely incredible. The apartment was stylish and luxurious, and the view of the city was breathtaking. The convenience of being located within the Vinhome Building was a major plus. I loved being able to easily access the observation deck, where I could take in the stunning panoramic views. The presence of local restaurants, cafes, and shops made my stay extremely convenient. I highly recommend the apartment.
