We stayed 3 nights in the smallest of rooms on offer at this property. The room was immaculately clean and well fitted out. It had a very comfortable double bed, table and 2 chairs, fridge and microwave as well as kettle, toaster and crockery. Shampoo and conditioner as well as soaps were provided. An ironing board was supplied on request. There is also a luggage rack, which was essential in such a small room. The room had a large air-con, which is also very important in a windowless room. The one downside was the size and lack of window in this room. This did not bother us at all for the first two nights, but by the third night I was feeling confined, so I would only recommend this room for a max 2 night stay. I would happily stay at any other rooms on the property though, as I'm told they were larger and have either windows or skylights. Very friendly staff and service was tops!

Welcome to Granny's! This motel room had it all - an old fashioned dining table and 2 chairs, 2 oversized lounge chairs, 4 mirrors (2 ornamental), 5 antiquated framed prints, 1 large fake rose in a pot - a la funeral parlour, 2nd hand books for sale ($20!! for 3 nondescript titles you would pay 50c each for at an Op Shop), some random magazines in a fanned display. Floor space - forget it! Suitcase storage - forget that too because other things had been placed on the built-in ledges. Oh! There was only one bedside lamp - we had to request an extra one (office desk lamp provided) - and the existing one was so dim as to be unusable. The main room light was about 25w on the pre-LED scale. The car spaces were lined up so someone else's vehicle was directly outside our door - ours was further along. All up, this motel was OK, (quiet, 5 mins drive from town centre) but showed that it is easy to play around with decoration and mess up the functionality of the room. It doesn't need the table and chairs...or...it doesn't need both lounge chairs - either way it needs more floor space. It really needs a spruce up - bathrooms are aging, other appointments also, and for these reasons you should look elsewhere in Armidale for lodgings.

It started as confusing as to know where to stay as there are so many motels in Armidale. A quick call to the Tourist Information Centre to Faye Hill sorted it out as she highly recommended this place. Absolutely spotless and Deb and Phil went above and beyond to extend our stay when my husband was rushed to hospital on the first night with a medical emergency. The staff who delivered the breakfasts were very friendly, the rooms absolutely immaculate. I woudn't hesitate to recommend this place at all.

Excellent motel, clean and well appointed although our room did not have a luggage rack even though there was space for it - bit difficult to get things from a suitcase on the floor. Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

Well I just had to write another review of this motel. When I first visited this motel back in 2022 I have to say I was a long way from impressed and said I would more than likely never stay there again. Well as I was attending a trade even and the accommodation was booked by the company it just so happened they booked me in here. I was a little apprehensive but as I walked into reception I could tell that the establishment had completely upped their game, in reception anyway. Extremely fast, very friendly and efficient. I then went to my room and what a breath of fresh air the room I got was clean comfortable and even had its own espresso machine. Unfortunately for me being able to get a meal on site is a big deal and being a little bit out of town is a cross for me but hey that’s just due to the amount of driving I do and not wanting to go out when I arrive at my accomodation but that’s on me. I will stay there again I’m sure and the improvement is unbelievable.

As a couple attending a wedding, we chose to stay in the two bedroom apartment. It was more spacious than my Sydney apartment!! We relaxed in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed the best Armidale had to offer from our perfect location. Our hosts Alan and Melinda ensured our stay was comfortable, enjoyable and seamlessly relaxing. It was so lovely to return to the motel after shopping, dining out and attending the wedding reception. We are definitely returning for another enjoyable weekend.

The location of the hotel is very good, just beside the Central Park. A big bed and a small bed, happy with the children. Very clean, don't lose four stars. The proprietress is a cute foreigner of about 50 years old, and she smiles very brightly. This is the best Motel I have ever stayed in, of course, next time.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions we decided to have a regional holiday in NSW and chose Armidale for a 4 night stay. On advice from friends who said “make sure wherever you stay has great heating” - we chose Moore Park Apartments. We were not disappointed with the floor heating - we were snug. The apartment was bright, spacious, modern, very clean, well appointed, comfy beds and warm - no one in my family complained with my choice! There was so much to do in Armidale for our family of 4 ( two teenagers) - mountain biking at The Armidale Pine Forest ( Piney’s to the locals), a friendly golf course, bike paths everywhere, local walks gorges and waterfalls , great coffee and cafes and awesome pubs - we could have easily spent a week! Pack your beanie and gloves and discover it for yourself- you won’t be disappointed!
