It seems that they are trying to reduce costs, and the number of staff is small, but if you make an extension, they will respond within tens of seconds. The observation bath on the top floor will be cramped when four people enter. Also, since one bath is divided into men and women according to the time of day, there are times when you cannot take it. There is a unit bath in the room. Last but not least is the darkness of the lighting. It is a level of darkness that allows you to read and write at the last minute. This hotel should be avoided if you plan to do long hours of desk work.

To be honest, the difference between actual and picture is quite large. The air in the room didn't feel too good. But free bread and drinks for breakfast (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) There are many places to eat around! Ten minutes walk from the station!

The location of the hotel is about 20 minutes from Shizuoka Station. It is very inconvenient to carry a large suitcase, but it is very close to Shizuoka’s pedestrian street and shopping mall. It is very convenient to travel and eat. If you live near Shizuoka Station, it will be more convenient. Convenient, there is a large shopping mall near Shizuoka Station. It is more convenient to go out to eat, especially for friends who are not good at Japanese or have a bad sense of direction. The room is relatively large, the single bed is also one meter five, this shop is super happy, and finally do not have to worry about falling out of bed. The hotel is located on the second floor, with an elevator. It is very convenient to bring children. It is not clear whether or not an extra bed can be used. Because there is no such demand, I have not asked.

I have a good experience staying in Sanco Inn in Ise so I choose Sanco Inn again in this trip. I still have a great experience this time! The inn is near to the Shizuoka JR station. Many restaurants nearby! However, I don't find many cafes providing breakfast nearby. Luckily, Sanco Inn provides buffet breakfast. The choices entertains the Japanese and western breakfast lovers. There are not much choices but keep the basic and essentials. The staffs in the canteen are hardworking and nice! They refill and clean promptly. The room size is the normal one in Japan but still clean and comfortable. The only thing is that the desk is a bit small but I understand that it is limited due to the room size.

We came to Shizuoka to visit my cousin for a week this summer. I traveled with my mother, brother and 10 year old son from the U.S. This hotel was in a great location, and it was very clean and nice. Be prepared that almost no one here speaks English, so have your translator app ready! The lobby is on the top floor, and the restaurant is in the basement. The rooms are small, and there is no where to store your luggage. I literally slept in bed with my suitcase on the end of it ;) The amenities in the bathrooms are very nice. They provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, a cooling towel, hair brush, etc. They also provide daily bottled water and hot tea. We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning which was about 1000 yen, but it was very good. The service was excellent! The 'garden' on the roof was pretty, but very small and way too hot to enjoy during the time when we were there. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Shizuoka. It was a great value.

I didn't chose the hotel but I loved it. Location was great, very convenient for the station, room was fine, front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. Enjoyed a better than average breakfast, included in the room rate. The whole experience was much more "boutique" than "chain" hotel. But the real glory of the place is the privileged access to the former daimyo's garden next door. Each morning at breakfast, the waitstaff encouraged me to step outside into the garden. On the third morning, I finally did it. What a lovely place! Japanese aesthetics at their best. And I had it all to myself. Would have been worth staying here just for the garden, but like I said, the hotel was good, too.

The environment is quiet and clean. The breakfast is hearty. The waiter is enthusiastic. A boiling water heater is available, which is especially convenient for tea drinkers. The location is close to the station and the transportation is convenient.

This is a business hotel. The indoor facilities are a bit old, but it is clean and clean. The price is also affordable and suitable for poor travellers. There is a big supermarket near the hotel, which also has a variety of popular cosmeceuticals, which are also tax-free. The hotel is near New Shizuoka Station. The service from the grandpa at the front desk is very good. My power bank is broken and cannot be charged. I asked him to borrow the charging cable and successfully recharged. Thank you 🙏 The room is fine, just throw the key into a small box at the front desk when you check out and you can go straight away, which is very convenient! No one at the front desk, it feels like self check out

If you want a hotel where you have shopping, eating and public transport at your fingertips this is the one for you. We loved it as we are middle aged and have a few mobility issues. The room was a good size and very clean, but pillows were small and not very comfortable. Breakfast was mainly japanese but there was enough western food to satisfy ( omellette, toast, sausage and fruit salad ) The shopping centre parallel to the hotel is fantastic with everything a tourist could possibly need or want to buy.The staff were lovely but language and information on local tourist attractions was lacking. but there are tourist information centres at most railway stations. Do go up to the 15th floor and if it's a clear day you will see mt fuji we did and it took our breath away.

The service is very good, very welcoming, the location is great, there are AEON supermarkets, convenience stores, subway stations, and it is very convenient. The overall health is also good, the disadvantage is that the room is relatively small, so in downtown Japan.

Very standard single room, more than enough for a person to live, can see Mount Fuji outside the window, close to the subway station, but also includes breakfast, although simple, but full, very suitable for a person to travel alone

We had planned to stay for two nights (here for the Rugby World Cup) but Typhoon Hagibis set in and our flight home the next night was cancelled. We had booked a train out and a hotel in Tokyo but the trains were suspended. We were stuck! The hotel was very accommodating and we were able to extend for an extra night in the same room. As we couldn’t venture out, we dined in-house at ‘The Table’. I’m not a buffet fan but this was lovely. The drinks package is worth adding - unlimited wine (lots of options),beer and softs for 1700 Yen per person. The meal was very reasonable too. Before dinner we enjoyed lovely cocktails at ‘Email’ - the top floor bar. Great service and lovely drinks. Not cheap but we’d do it again. The location of the hotel is ideal - only a few mins walk from the train station. Fuji views are on offer from one side of the hotel but even if your room faces the other way, you can see it from the glass lifts or windows near the lifts. Great service, clean and well-equipped. Highly recommend. We would stay again.

I stay here sometimes as we have a factory in town. It is a comfortable hotel. The rooms are a little small by western standards but normal for Japan and comfortable. Once, I had an issue with the air conditioning (I struggle in the heat/humidity). It was dealt with quickly and professionally. When they couldn’t get it working right away they moved me straight into a room with ice cold AC. Good customer service I thought. If the problem can’t be solved immediately, making the customer comfortable seems to be the priority. The area is pleasant and just what you’d imagine a Japanese fishing port to be like. However, there may not be enough to keep tourists entertained for more than 3 or 4 days.
