Upon arrival and check in we got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment no charge, and couldn’t be happier , as their service was a friendly, fast, and professional. Our 1 bedroom apartment is amazing, featuring queen bed with t.v in room , spacious living area , kitchen, laundry and balcony with a beautiful view of the beach . The location convenience, being across the road from the ****** and pacific fair , and Goya cafe downstairs for a close by breakfast before heading on your day of adventure. We’ll most definitely be checking in to Meriton in near future.

Marion, Chris, Donna and the team are friendly and welcoming, the units have the most amazing views and the location is fabulous. This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to attend any type of function/business event in Broadbeach, for Blues on Broadbeach or Groundwater. The units are walking distance to all things Broadbeach and directly opposite the beach. Also its really really close to the bowling club so if you are going to attend anything there you won't find better or closer accommodation. Highly recommend.

|0.41km from city center1. The apartment is very large, the master bedroom faces the sea, with a big bed. The second bedroom is actually a study room, so there is no window. There is a bathroom separated from the master bedroom, and both sides can enter.
2. Sanitation is ok, the kitchenware is clean, the washing machine is still new, the dryer is a bit old but clean
3. Free parking. It is better to leave a comment when booking. When you arrive, stop at the door or on the side of the road. When you go in and check in, you will be given a sensor
4. Walk straight to the pacific fair and cross the bridge for 15 minutes. The restaurant will open in the evening and the store will close at about 5:30. There are Mobike bikes available for rent.
5. Going in the opposite direction to the pacific fair is the beach. There are not many people and there are lifeguards during working hours. If you go north there is a larger children’s play area. Is the location similar to Oasis?
6. Before leaving, remember to throw away all the trash. Recycle the trash can in the garage. Put all dirty tableware in the dishwasher. If it is too dirty, it seems that the hotel will charge a cleaning fee of $75 starting

|0.27km from city centerWe phoned prior to find out parking options. They said no valet. We arrive and sure enough, there’s complimentary valet parking for guests. This was a pleasant surprise. The lady at reception was not especially helpful. We requested an early check-in during booking process. We arrived around 2 hours prior to normal check-in and were told our room wasn’t recently. We paid extra for breakfast, $100 meal credit and late check-out. The receptionist twice mentioned a $50 credit - not sure why? Our lunch meal at restaurant Nineteen was excellent. Fresh oyster journey, moreton bat bugs and dessert. An extensive wine list including by the glass. The infinity pool on level 19 looks amazing. Given more time, we would have used it for sure. We booked the stellar room. The room itself was spacious and luxurious. King bed. Separate living/dining room. Both with large TVs. Bath tub. Monsoon shower. Bath robes and slippers. Smart lighting and curtains. Large balcony with 180 degree view, albeit ocean view mostly obstructed by other buildings. Mid afternoon, we received a random knock on the door. It was the turn down service. We didn’t oblige. Reception had failed to mention this. We ordered room service for dinner. Uninspired menu. Burger and fries took around 45 mins. It was warm at best. And very over priced. There was some loud-ish dance music being played in the shared corridor, over the in-house audio speaker system. Poor choice. We could hear it while watching TV in bed. Fortunately, the next sound track improved around 2300h. Breakfast was pre-paid. We were handed a memu and told we could order what we wanted. Juice, tea or coffee and a main. We ordered crab omelette and some sides. We were unexpectedly charged extra for the sides. It wasn’t explained to us. Thankfully, check-out was simpler and smoother than check-in. Concierge and valet were on point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price tag, don’t think it represents fair value - we’ll unlikely return.

|0.21km from city centerAlthough it is a bit far from Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach Mart and cafes and food and beverage stores are convenient. There's a yogurt ice cream place on the first floor, which isn't bad, and there's a Starbucks.
There is a playground about 200 meters away that is great for children.
Since there were no curtains, I had to wake up at 6 o'clock... There is a construction site right next to it, so it is noisy. It's noisy at night because there are clubs nearby. It wasn't bad for a few days.
The swimming pool was also great for kids to play in.

|0.29km from city centerThe apartment we stayed in was fantastic and clean. It was in a great location being walking distance to all Broadbeach restaurants, shops and the beach. The pool was fantastic and big enough to swim laps. The amount of crockery , cutlery and utensils was extremely minimalistic. BUT. We were advised of the possibility of construction noise on the west side of the building. This was nothing compared to the horrendous construction noise on the east side of the building. Heavy machinery and foundation drilling noise was a constant. For our entire stay, we were unable to sit on our balcony overlooking the ocean due to the noise until about 5.00 in the afternoon. This construction would start at 6.30 in the morning (with the exception of Sunday) and was extremely intrusive. Fortunately we experienced great weather for our stay so we were able to spend time at the beach for some serenity. Reluctantly would NOT recommend staying at these apartments while construction is occurring to the east

|0.33km from city centerAfter booking a room for 1 night initially, we made a booking for an additional night both via Expedia. The recent reviews on here had me worried as they were much more positive when I made and paid for the booking. Parking - currently free but the hotel provide no detailed instructions on booking etc so I can see why people get frustrated. Thankfully a review on here gave us some tips to make our arrival smooth. I would recommend parking in tower 1 on levels 3, 3M or 4. These floors provide direct lift access to the hotel. Look for gold lifts - these indicate your attached to the hotel. Check in - the girl checking us on (Sara I think) was nice but the hotels booking system didn’t link that there were 2 separate bookings for the same person. The hotel didn’t offer us the lower standard room for the 2 nights so that we didn’t have to move. We opted to pay an additional $60 to stay in the better room for the 2 nights. Pool - is as nice as the photos although some of the cabana cushions are filthy. It is mildly heated and there were no towels, only the ones provided in your room. After house keeping we had 2 taken and only 1 replaced which made it hard to use the pool again. Food - we used Uber eats one night and ate at Harvest Buffet in the ****** on the other. The Harvest Buffet was good. We didn’t eat breakfasts at the hotel. Room - the lounge needs to go, there is no room for it and an additional luggage rack would be more practical as storage is lacking. The room would benefit from a spare pillow and blanket like nearly every other hotel we have stayed in. There are no robes or slippers provided. Gym - the gym was ok however the cable machine was broken, there were no kettlebells or spin bike. Access is via the ****** and in to another lift. Check out - we didn’t bother returning to reception, at 8am we were woken by a drill in the adjoining room/wall to us. Very unpleasant when you have an 11am check out. If we were told about the short maintenance work we wouldn’t have minded but we expect more of a hotel that is part of the Star. Would we stay again? No, it’s not the level we have come to expect as guests of the Star in Sydney.

It was well maintained and the decoration was good. Room number 1003. The washing machine and dryer was a huge bonus. The pool area was good. Literally right on the beach, next to Kurrawa park, and short walk to Broadbeach shops, restaurants and surf club. Apartment was modern, clean and well appointed. Wifi and smart TV with all the apps (Netflix, Kayo, Amazon, etc etc) was an added bonus which was great for the kids. The heated pool and surrounds were great, and was so nice to shower off and jump in the warm pool after a surf with the kids at the beach. The management were really friendly, and were always keen for a chat when we were at reception. In summary, we loved our little family getaway at Talisman, and are looking forward to our next stay!

Parked the car and we were able to walk to everything we needed for our stay (beach, food, shops, etc) Lovely pool, excellent view from the room that we had, lovely comfortable beds and the room (2 bedroom apartment) was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay (washing machine, dryer, dish washer, 2 bathrooms!) The room had 3 air-cons so even though it was a super hot weekend we were quite comfortable in the room. The residents of the hotel were really friendly towards my kids as well. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

Plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent with attentive staff and good food. Bar on ground floor also good. Balcony was nice but exterior light not working. Our two-level apartment was located on the 17th floor of the east tower which had a spectacular ocean view. The apartment was pretty new and was very nicely furnished. The furniture, kitchen and bathrooms had a high-quality standard. Washing machine, wifi etc, everything worked well. Bel Air on Broadbeach also provides a great pool area, a nice little café, parking possibilities and a reception with a very friendly team. If you are looking for great accommodation at Broadbeach we definitely can recommend Bel Air.

We were quite happy with the price but when we arrived we noticed that with that great price, at such a central location, also came a bottle of free wine, a $60 dinner voucher at one of the local restaurants and free pool towels. We have booked direct with other hotels in the same area in the past, but we have never received all these added extras. We have now found new regular accommodation for when we travel to the Gold Coast next.

Positive points: the residence is very new. The furniture is new and of good quality. The apartment is well equipped. The common areas are well maintained. The swimming pool and barbecue area is magnificent. Negative point: I found the 2 bedroom apartment relatively small. On their site, they announce a surface of 100m2. But I would say that we are closer to 80m2 than 100m2…. No bathtubs in the 2 bathrooms. Too bad.. Finally, the curtains are not sufficiently blackout. So we were woken up every morning at sunrise, from 6 a.m.…. Overall it was a good stay. I recommend.

|0.41km from city centerWhen we checked into the room we were presented with the following. Bin left on the kitchen bench. Wet tea towel in the sink. Toaster and kettle left on the bench. 2 towels for 4 people. No toilet paper on the holders. Partially unmade bed. A dirty pair of female underwear left in the washing machine from the previous guests. A washing machine that did not work. A dishwasher that did not work until it was given some gentle persuasion (whack with fist). Leaking kitchen sink tap, had to have the tea towel wrapped around the base to prevent water going everywhere. Shower had dried up soap scum all over the screen and where the tiles meet the shower. Poor WiFi in the room, kids had to sit at the front door to get a decent signal. Very thin blinds in the bedrooms - it was daylight at 4.45am. Take an eye mask for future reference. Poor seals around the windows, the traffic noise was terrible and we were on level 12. A strong smell of decomposing food/waste coming from the communal rubbish dump chute. After paying $1000 plus for 3 night for 4 people i would have expected a bit more. The staff did offer an apology and provided us with some token cookies and a bottle of sparkling water... if that means anything. The hotel is starting to look old and is in desperate need of an upgrade. Two good things were the pool area and it is directly opposite Pacific Fair for your shopping. Do yourself a favor and look at newer hotels in the area.
