      Management staff were lovely people, making us feel very comfortable. We even changed our travel plans and booked longer, we loved the place so much. Having a Jetty was great, but a pity night access was not possible for fishing. The heated pool, spa bath and BBQ area were definite bonuses. Cleaniing staff do a terrible job, when preperaring the rooms though, which is the property's only fault. I had to wash all blankets in one of the apartments I stayed in, which smelt like body odour. The Complex Management do need to employ a better cleaning company. The Apartment though, offered all the home facilities one needs (except coathangers ..lol). Bedrooms, Kitchen, Lounge, Balcony, Bathroom and Laundry facilities. Internet needs improvement though.

      The room type is good, big, and there is a kitchen and a refrigerator. The bathroom is a whirlpool bath, wet and dry. Very close to the beach by the sea, close to the commercial street, the supermarket is also very close. However, the room facilities were old and the refrigerator was bad. I talked to the front desk the next day before I changed one. We stayed for 3 people, only one big bed, asked the front desk, told me to pull the sofa to make a bed. Bath towels and sheets are not changed, but only for 2 days.

      Recently spent 4 night in a two bedroom unit overlooking the golf course. The views of the Broadbeach and the golf course was great. Just grab a drink and sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. The location of these apartments are approximately 10 mins drive to Pacific Fair and Broadbeach. Not really any shops within walking distance (unless you are keen to walk 20-25mins) to the nearest Aldi. The Carrara markets are just 5 mins drive away. The apartment itself was large and modern, plenty of room for a family of four. It was showing signs of wear and tear, with scuff marks on walls and carpets. The apartment we stayed at had limited kitchen utensils...ie 3 forks 3 spoons etc...and old looking. Probably time to replace and replenish them. The pool area was nice and the kids spent plenty of time in there. The gym is small and only had a handful of equipment. The wifi didn't work for us, but that wasn't an big deal as it was only 150mb free per day. Overall a pleasant stay.

      After booking a room for 1 night initially, we made a booking for an additional night both via Expedia. The recent reviews on here had me worried as they were much more positive when I made and paid for the booking. Parking - currently free but the hotel provide no detailed instructions on booking etc so I can see why people get frustrated. Thankfully a review on here gave us some tips to make our arrival smooth. I would recommend parking in tower 1 on levels 3, 3M or 4. These floors provide direct lift access to the hotel. Look for gold lifts - these indicate your attached to the hotel. Check in - the girl checking us on (Sara I think) was nice but the hotels booking system didn’t link that there were 2 separate bookings for the same person. The hotel didn’t offer us the lower standard room for the 2 nights so that we didn’t have to move. We opted to pay an additional $60 to stay in the better room for the 2 nights. Pool - is as nice as the photos although some of the cabana cushions are filthy. It is mildly heated and there were no towels, only the ones provided in your room. After house keeping we had 2 taken and only 1 replaced which made it hard to use the pool again. Food - we used Uber eats one night and ate at Harvest Buffet in the ****** on the other. The Harvest Buffet was good. We didn’t eat breakfasts at the hotel. Room - the lounge needs to go, there is no room for it and an additional luggage rack would be more practical as storage is lacking. The room would benefit from a spare pillow and blanket like nearly every other hotel we have stayed in. There are no robes or slippers provided. Gym - the gym was ok however the cable machine was broken, there were no kettlebells or spin bike. Access is via the ****** and in to another lift. Check out - we didn’t bother returning to reception, at 8am we were woken by a drill in the adjoining room/wall to us. Very unpleasant when you have an 11am check out. If we were told about the short maintenance work we wouldn’t have minded but we expect more of a hotel that is part of the Star. Would we stay again? No, it’s not the level we have come to expect as guests of the Star in Sydney.

Staff amazing, spotlessly clean room and surroundings. Only minor point - would think for $300+ a night they would give you a couple of free movies. $15 to rent a movie seems unnecessary.

      Nice hotel, well located as it is close to the Broadbeach south and north tram stations. 10 minutes walk from the pacific fair and 5 minutes from restaurants, frozen yogurt, gelato…. Comfortable and modern room with an unobstructed view of the casino and the river. Room to be released at 10:00 a.m. but our flight at 7:30 p.m., had to pay an additional $80 Aud directly to reception to keep it in the afternoon, did not want me to do it from the site. Maybe they didn't understand my English 🤪, none spoke French.

      Mantra Broadbeach is a well located hotel within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, pacific fair shopping Centre and most importantly the beach! It has an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool so swimming all year round is achievable. The accommodations are modern and have all the amenities of a house. Clean and comfortable is 100%. Would definitely recommend for families who are looking for a quieter alternative to Surface Paradise.

      The hotel environment is pretty good, the swimming pool is good for kids, and there is the largest shopping mall on the Gold Coast across the road, but the service is very average. Our two friends booked the room together and left a message about the room to be together. , The result was that that day, we were divided a long distance away, and it was useless after a long time, rubbish, originally it was the children of the two families together to play together, but the result was still so far away from each other, which was not human at all. The location is not as convenient as Surfers Paradise, you have to drive when you go out, I won’t choose it next time
