This was a spacious and comfortable apartment, close to public transport, beach, supermarket, and restaurant’s.

The apartment we were given was beautiful, however we did request a high floor, booking 6 months prior
When we got there Carmel by the Sea had no notification of this
We ended up on the 2nd floor with no view

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that was very generous in space. The water view from the 7th floor was just so nice with the balcony access from each bedroom and the living area. Excellent and well equiped Kitchen. At times we opened the sliding doors for the sea breeze and used the aircon when we wanted to close the doors and loose the city noises. The grounds and facilities are superb and inviting. Beach right out front across the road and parkland. Easy basement parking and access to apartments. A very enjoyable 4 night stay. Thank you 'Carmel by the Sea' team. Recommended.

I expected a little higher standard for a superior ocean view, we could barely see the ocean through the trees from the park on level 3. Doors and draws were a little grubby in the kitchen area. Everything else was very tidy. I’d rate the stay as pleasant.
