Our room was cleaned with care, to a very good standard. Free, on-site parking. Standard check-out is 12pm. Spoilt for choice at buffet breakfast. My wife, two young kids (9 and 11), and I recently stayed at Musella for a night on our way through Verona. We booked a two-bedroom apartment months in advance and were excited to stay at what is a lovely bed and breakfast. We arrived late (around 11:30 pm) on the night of our reservation, in part, because we got lost trying to find the place. We received a confirming email earlier that day, however, so we weren’t concerned. The email didn’t say anything about needing to call ahead if we were coming in late, so we were surprised to find the front gate locked and no lights on when we arrived. I called the number listed on the call box, which apparently connected me to the front desk clerk/manager who was offsite at the time. I’m not actually sure who the woman was because she didn’t identify herself, but she was very rude. When I let her know who I was, she immediately started berating me for not calling ahead. She was upset that she couldn’t reach me all day (she had been calling my wife’s phone, which was off), and I was afraid she had given our room away. My family and I were sitting on the side of a desolate road in the middle of the night in a foreign country, so I tried to be polite and apologetic. And fortunately, our room was still available. Everything seemed fine after the mystery woman opened the gate remotely and guided us to our room over the phone. The next morning, however, I had another unpleasant encounter with her while “checking in.” Rather than asking me how my stay was, she continued grumbling about our late arrival the previous night. Later that morning when I was checking out, the issue came up again when she (for the first time) mentioned a 20-euro “late arrival” fee that I was being charged. I explained that I was unaware I needed to call ahead—and that the confirming email didn’t say it was required—but she just kept arguing that “everyone knows you have to call” and that it’s mentioned in the “terms and conditions.” Her tone and demeanor was unprofessional and infuriating. Worse, I apparently got charged this ridiculous fee because Musella’s reception desk “closes” at 7 pm. As I said, the place itself is lovely and the owner (we ran into him as we were walking to our room the night we arrived) seemed nice. I rarely give bad reviews, but the mystery woman earned one by making me feel like my entire stay was an imposition to her. She got the 20 euro fee from me, but blew any chance that I or anyone I know will ever stay there or order their wine in the future. Seems pretty shortsighted, although I can’t say I’m surprised given her behavior during all three of our interactions.

I had booked x1 only night x because I imagined it was a hotel “beat and run” looking for better x the next night and instead we recreated both my husband and me. Once we took the room we decided to book the next night and with half-pension x because this hotel is really a good compromise x visit Verona . The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. A dinner with simple but very tasty dishes that we very pleased to see the tiredness of the visit to Verona and the service of the very professional and courtesy guardian. The reception staff are gentle and very prepared x give information about the visit of Verona center and its museums .. and lastly, the convenience of being able to go to the center only 15 /20 minutes by taking the always timely and frequent means right in front of the hotel and the possibility of buying tickets directly in the hotel is not least important. The lack of soundlessness of the room , I was awakened in the night from the kid's weep of the room nearby to our .

Super graceful bedroom, dipped in the countryside and with family drive. The rooms are clean, ordered and tastefully furnished. Excellent breakfast, with a wide range of products made at home (cake, cookies, marmalades, ...). Absolutely to emphasize the kindness and willingness of Gemma, the owner, also to ask advice about where to eat or how to move in the territory. Absolutely to return! This time we may stop a few more days! 😉

After being recommended to stay at this “hotel” for a course we were doing, it was a nightmare from day one. We were in a 4 bed apartment and hot water wouldn’t work for more than 15 minutes so that meant some of us were having cold showers everyday. Especially when they’d fix it at night but it was freezing again by the morning and we didn’t have time to get them to sort it as this took around an hour of our time. Despite telling them EVERYDAY that our hot water wasn’t working and the boiling was broke, it took them 6 days into our 10 night stay to do something. Everytime we would plead them to fix it or move us apartments, they lied and told us that the hotel was fully booked and would just tell us to turn the boiler on and off. The hob in our apartment barely worked, everything was dirty and smelt like a nursing home, no washing machine, mouldy dirty showers and limescale on the shower head so thick that it wouldn’t even work properly. The microwave sparked at the plug and needed to be changed, the bedsheets smelt dirty and the shutters kept jamming. On day 6 they moved us to a smaller apartment, despite paying for more and didn’t apologise or offer any compensation. When we arrived, the showers still weren’t in the best condition and the kitchen was barely supplied with any utensils to cook and then the balcony door jammed shut. When we called reception, he said they couldn’t do anything for a couple of hours despite us having washing our there and wanting to use the balcony to enjoy the sun. He then barged in 10 minutes later, not saying anything and pulling at the doors then proceeded to climb through the window to get to the balcony. We’ve constantly had to change our plans to wait whilst the staff at the hotel messed with the broken things and not know how to fix it. There was no proper engineering staff and we didn’t see any cleaners working whilst we were here. The one time our apartment was cleaned, they didn’t leave any toilet roll and left one of the rooms completely uncleaned. The staff haven’t apologised once for any of these issues, if anything they make you feel like an annoyance when they should just get their hotel sorted. It’s dirty, it’s old and it’s been a nightmare. It also looks NOTHING like the photos. It’s overpriced and promising an experience that doesn’t exist. Save your money, the hostel would probably be nicer.

Very spacious and clean room, a hidden bar in the basement, a quiet herb garden and all of it a stonr's throw from the city center of Verona. The reception was warm, friendly and efficient and the overall look and feel of the hotel merits a mention as well as does the service by the staff. Would stay and recommend this lovely b&b again!
