Perfect location & amp; professional and friendly staffs. We will come back again 1. The front desk is very professional and the service is very good. WiFi is free. Early check-in is arranged. Umbrellas are provided to help in rainy days. The cleaning staff and restaurant service staff were very professional. Breakfast is not many, but basic meals are available. 2, booked bedroom apartment, the environment is clean and hygienic. The kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom are all very convenient and satisfying. 3. During the special domestic epidemic period, all the service staff did not have any unfriendly words and deeds. Thank you very much for their professional services. 4. The hotel is located in the 5th district, within 30 meters of the street is Watts Avenue, the environment is very safe, restaurants and shopping are very convenient. Within 100 meters is the White Elizabeth Bridge over the Danube, You can walk to the Central Market in about one kilometer. On the right, you can reach the Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, and after passing the bridge, there is Castle Hill with the Buda Palace on the right, the Magas Church on the right (the crowned place of Princess Sissi with her bust), Fisherman's Bastion, and Trinity Square; About a kilometer behind is the St. Ishte Pantheon, Andrassy Avenue, which runs through the Opera House, and ends at the Heroes' Square (left and right are the National Gallery and the Palace of Arts), After passing through, it is a city park, next to the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, VIDam park (one of the film twin killer locations), Szechenyi hot spring ... If you go to Budapest for free, it is highly recommended that you stay at the Marriott Hotel for one night. Absolutely one of the most cost-effective hotels on the Danube Bank, all rooms have a night view of the Danube. In addition to the regular Western style, the hotel's breakfast also has a choice of soup. The hotel's canteen can buy transportation tickets, the concierge can help book tickets for the night Danube night tour, and the entire Danube River tour with Chinese guides is very convenient. The famous Xiaohuang car tram is at the Intercontinental Gate and walked for 3 minutes. The famous restaurant and Michelin restaurant on the cat eagle are also nearby, within walking distance. The hotel provides toiletries, except for the toilet without a wet and dry separation requiring a walk-in shower.

The hotel is in a good location, next to the pedestrian street, various restaurants, places to change money, there are many options. It is very close to the Elizabeth Bridge, and within walking distance to other attractions, such as the Lienzi Bridge, the Parliament Building, and across from the Buda Palace, Fisherman's Bastion, and the Maca X Church. The rooms are large in Europe and the price is high.

We have stayed at the hotel on the 5th floor for 5 nites in mid-Sep (FYI, breakfast room is on the 6th floor). - The hotel room was nice and unexpectedly spacious. - The location is right in the center of the city, on Váci Street (main pedestrian shopping street where there is a lot going on), especially for currency exchange stores. You don’t have to worry where to find get the local currencies after check-in. BUT: - Breakfast room was small and crowded! You may need some time to wait for table. - The fire alarms (both in the corridor and inside the hotel room) rang twice (at 11pm and the other one at 8:30am) during our stay. We and the other guests ran out from our rooms. We met the other guests coming up and they said it was false alarm. We then proactively checked with the hotel staff, they said a guest was having a hot bath which triggered the fire alarm. They used the same script for both incidents. We had no clue whether it was a problem of the fire alarm system or they were telling the truth. Afterall, the hotel didn’t serve any notice to explain the false alarm for both cases. As there are only 6 floors, why doesn’t the hotel immediately sent some staff on the main entrance of each floor advising it was a false alarm, instead of letting guests communicate amount themselves?? - No obvious clue of which number to contact the hotel service hotline. At last, we found it under the telephone set.

The location belongs to the second-line river view, the front is blocked by the tall Marriott, but the price must be higher than Marriott! Going to the main attractions of Budapest, you are all walking! Convenience is a commercial street, eating and shopping supermarkets are very convenient. On the edge is the fifth-ranked restaurant of tripadvisor, the Hungarian beef soup is famous. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and introduced it for a long time. It was a practice of Hungarian English and also helped me print the tickets for the Parliament. The room is quite big and the twin room has two windows facing the street. Breakfast is quite satisfactory.

The hotel belongs to the typical old-fashioned hotel in Europe. The facilities are relatively old and participate in the side of the street. Although it is not troublesome, it is not quiet. The breakfast at the hotel is ok, the basic things are there, and you can have enough. The location of the hotel is good, close to the attractions, downtown, and can be reached on foot. A hotel with a good price/performance ratio, free travellers, not too picky accommodation, recommended!

We flew in around 9pm...taxi driver had been arranged, but he could not find the apartment. Eventually, through google maps & phone calls - which were answered - we got a lady to meet us & show us in, past the Tai 'massage' parlour & into the apartment. It was old & tatty, but looked clean. After the first night, I noticed beetles crawling up the walls behind my bed...didn't know what they were...I woke up in the second night to find them in the bed with me! Yup...bed bugs, a real infestation. We texted the owner & told him...making sure he knew we had pics. Within 20 minutes he had actioned our move to another apartment. That one was still in the block - but renovated & nicely decorated. There was a state-of-art washing machine & any bugs hoping to hitch up were killed in 60 degree washes. The wardrobes were filled with old musty bedding - & the sheets, although laundered still had the tell tale stains of bed bug habitation...I had wised up by then, & kept off the soft furnishings (google these bugs, & learn - they aren't just for filthy places). We were only in Budapest for the week - but I found that I was marking time until we got home, after that experience... We got the airport bus back to the airport, after cancelling the arranged taxi, because we knew the place was so tricky to find, & we didn't want to risk our flights home. All in all, a holiday governed by unfortunate accommodation, and my difficulty getting over it.

We were a little disappointed with the apartment. We arrived in the dark, and unfortunatley the Manager due to meet us was delayed dealing with a another guest who'd arrived unexpectedly. This was partially our own fault as we were later than planned, but we had phoned ahead to explain. This meant we were waiting outside for about 20 mins, and were getting concerned we were in the right place. On his arrival the Manager was extremely helpful and explained everything well. Our apartment was small, as we expected, but well equiped, a large comfortable bed, well equiped kitchen and small shower room. However our apartement window looked out over a very scruffy courtyard, with bikes, bins, and builders rubbish left around, and we didn't get much daylight in the room. The rug, cushions and sofa were stained and could have looked much better if they'd been cleaned. There was black mould around the showere tray and sink in the bath room which is a little off-putting. There are a few steps, then a lift to the other floors. The location is excellent, a short walk to shops, restaurants, and tram stops, 2 minutes from Margaret Bridge, and 7 minutes walk to the railway station. It is a quiet residential area so peaceful at night. Value for money for sure.

The location is very good, on a pedestrian street opposite the supermarket, downstairs with a restaurant, pizzeria and beer hall. On the diagonal is Las Vegas **. If you take a taxi from the outside, you will find a shopping mall at the end of the pedestrian road. Among them are banks, money changers, supermarkets and Eve. Shoe store. My boss is Chinese and enthusiastic.

There is a bus stop at the main entrance of the hotel, a Chinese restaurant and a supermarket, and the Danube River on the back. When we are on the Danube, we often stay at the hotel. The walk behind the river at night is also very romantic. The hotel's cleaning service is very positive and it feels like When we went to breakfast, we went into the house and cleaned it. It felt that it was not very good because we didn’t pack everything and put it on the bedside and on the desk. Later, when I went to breakfast several times, I hanged on the door and did not disturb. Not going in, the third photo is the supermarket and restaurant bus stop at the hotel entrance. The location of the hotel is very convenient.

The location is very good, there is a Miller perfume cosmetics can buy and buy downstairs, next to the spar supermarket, opposite the M2 subway station, surrounding McDonald's, pizza shop is readily available. The facilities are almost three or four stars in the country. If the sheets are not changed every day, they will be laid for you. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but they are basically enough. The room is still quite large, we added a bed for 15 euros per day with breakfast, very cheap. The toilet is a bit high, not very friendly to Asians, and it doesn't feel like sitting on it!

We have just got back from these apartments, they were good value for money. We had a superior studio, was quite basic but was cheap so you don’t expect anything too glamorous. Bed seemed a little hard at first but we got two full nights sleep so can’t complain. It was a good twenty minute walk to where the majority of bars and restaurants were but this didn’t bother us much because we were out all day exploring and taxis were so cheap so we just got one back at night time when we’d had a few drinks. The service from the girls at reception was just fantastic. They were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. My only criticism about these apartments would be that we didn’t find it very clear on how to check in. There was a sign on the door saying you had to go somewhere else and we ended up going round in circles and then it turned out you had to check in at the first place we’d been to. Also, it wasn’t clear where to scan the fob to get back into the building so we ended up being stood outside a while trying to work it out. Luckily some other people staying at the apartment turned up and showed us how otherwise I don’t think we’d have got back in. Overall I would recommend these apartments for someone looking for a cheap and cheerful base in Budapest.

Pros: Definitely a great location. Dog-friendly! The woman who checked us in and wore many hats was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff was smiling and cheerful the entire time, despite being quite busy. The rooftop view (which included a night-view of tons of bats flying around the Budapest Parliament building from the roof. It was awesome!) A great outdoor seating area in front of the lobby with comfortable seating The fitness center was cleaned regularly. Nice breakfast. Refrigerator in-room for personal use Self-service laundry facilities on-site Parking Garage with easy access from the hotel elevator Trash cans available out front. Dog-poop bags would be a nice touch to go with them. Large, spacious standard room Cons: Slow elevators The lawn was unkept on the rooftop. Access to the rooftop was not provided to us until we asked for it. A tray of food sat outside of our door for 2 nights (we eventually checked out) without being removed. It seems no one walked the floors to ensure tidiness. Public area carpets are filthy The patio on the front entrance area/lobby needs to be power washed No cups in the fitness center for water Lint/filth in the elevator crevices Front desk did not always have someone behind it to help (they also had to wear many hats and assist with other departments like F&B) No view from our room If housekeeping is going to use the computers at the front desk, they should be able to acknowledge guests waiting in line, too, to let the guest know that the FD Agent will be with them in a moment. FD Agent upon check-out made it sound difficult to pay with both Forint and Credit Card...which it shouldn't be...and if it is, it should not affect the guest. I believe that a lot of the cons listed will be resolved once staffing levels are back to normal once covid is *hopefully* over. At least, I hope so! I cannot wait to visit again - we had a great time!

Stayed 4 nights at the end of January 2020 as a couple in the Joy location and Diamond apartment. Highly recommend this property for so many reasons! Firstly, the excellent location - within walking distance to the Jewish Quarter, minutes from a major transport hub, supermarket round the corner and a bunch of great restaurants and bars not far by foot. Also very handy if you are attending a performance at the Erkel Theatre (the Opera House was closed for renovation at time of visiting) which is literally a 2 minute walk around the corner. Secondly, the apartment is really well equipped and super cute! The kitchen is capable of preparing full meals if needed, and the living area is spacious despite having a sofa and dining table and chairs in it. The bathroom is well designed with a powerful shower and good lighting at the mirror. The stairs leading to the mezzanine bedroom are steeper than we're used to, so be aware if you have mobility problems. The bedroom area is compact but efficient - we literally slept and ate breakfast, then headed out to explore for the day before returning after dinner. Oh - did I mention the full size pinball machine each apartment has, or the range of musical instruments on offer in the apartment?! Thirdly, the customer service we experienced was exemplary - from the moment we met the member of staff to show us to the apartment and around it, to checking out at the office, where they kindly stored our luggage for us and arranged a taxi to the airport later in the day. The company owner popped in while we were checking out and the first question he asked us was if we'd had a good stay and what could he do to improve our experience! This is a company that clearly puts the needs of its customers first and always strives to exceed expectations. In summary, the apartment we stayed in gave us a little taste of everyday life in Budapest, was really well appointed and equipped, and its location enabled us to get around the city easily. We always felt safe and secure in the apartment and the local area. If you're after a comfortable stay in Budapest that is quirky and gives you a glimpse of how locals live, book this accommodation - you won't be disappointed!

We stayed only one night in Vagabond's penthouse apartment. It all went well until the day after our stay when I received a two-sentence email claiming that we left the bedroom in an unacceptable condition so they charged me 40 EUR cleaning fee. No photos attached, no cleaning invoice, just a made-up instant charge based on their belief that their false accusation is appropriate. The host was adamant that it was us and after a request for clarification they sent us some pictures. However, the picture details were deleted so there was no chance to check when were they taken. In the end, the host corrected that it was not us, but the guest staying after us. Personally, I am not convinced about the "following guests' story", smells more like a scam. It took 5 emails and two calls with the host and booking.com in a span of three days to achieve a single sentence apology and the confirmation about the refund. The received refund was less than the original charge due to currency change but who cares. The apartment itself is OK aside from missing microwave, terrace furniture and towel hangers, however, everyone should decide for oneself, whether, it is worth to grant bank account access to such unprofessional and ignorant bunch. My time and nerves wasted for this single day booking definitely were not worth it.

Stayed here for 5 nights at the end of January. Hotel was very easy to find almost opposite Semmelweis Klinikak Metro station though I arrived at the weekend so on the M3 replacement bus service. Checking in was fast though the tourist tax appears to be based on the room rate the supplier pays to hotel not what you pay to the supplier as it was considerably more than the 4% I was expecting to pay. I had emailed in advance and asked for a room on a high floor and ended up with a suite on the top floor with access to rooftop terrace and fantastic views over to the city and Gellert hill. Was only staying on a room only basis but having the fridge, kettle and microwave was great to make breakfast and snacks. There is a LIdl about 5 minutes walk away to stock up on supplies. Plentiful toiletries and towels in the bathroom though at times there was a bit of a drain smell which other travellers have commented on. Large double bed was also very comfy and always had a great nights sleep. Room was cleaned every day and a couple of times a fresh bottle of water was also supplied.

Hotel breakfast is very good, adult 16 euros, half price for children. The only bad thing is the two bedrooms, with two shower rooms, but there is only one toilet. The location is very central, three stops from the train station, and it takes 10 minutes to get there. From the Iron Bridge Ferris Wheel's various net review foie gras restaurants are very close. Closed after 11 pm, you need a room card to enter the hotel. In addition, the ten girls' room is very good. They are in the two separate rooms on the edge of the hall, all of which are girls. There are men and women in the public bathroom rooms upstairs. And the ten-person room is not cute, it is not a steel bed, it will not affect both sides, and there are cabinets. But the lock must be brought on its own.

We stayed for 4 nights, booked through a BA holiday deal and had a great time, would definitely come back here again. The staff were helpful and friendly. The place was also very clean, which was very important to me. The breakfast is great, and I'd recommend adding it, as I couldn't find good breakfast spots in Budapest on days when we went out super early. The rooms aren't huge, but they didn't feel cramped. We didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. I liked the buildings unique design and was thoroughly impressed how light the rooms were, and also the strength of the black out curtains when we wanted an early night Would definitely stay again Also if your looking for other Budapest recommendations we suggest Baths, the funciular, zoo cafe and Zing Burger

I loooved this room. It's how a room would look if I decorated it. Very chic, clean lines, lots of mirrors and a closet with a decent amount of space. The price was very reasonable. There were great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The staff was very nice and super helpful. The location was ok for the price. The train/tube was less than a half a block away. The bus and tram to city center were at the end of the block. However, most tourist attractions were about a 15-20 minute bus ride away. Not terrible by any means but if you like to be in a more tourist friendly area- this isn't it. Also, the hotel occupies a floor in a commercial building. So the hotel doesn't control the common areas. At night, there are no lights in the hallway/ common area of the building. It's actually pretty creepy trying to make your way in the dark from the main level to the level the hotel is actually located on. I complained about it to the front desk but nothing changed as I am not sure they have the power to change this. Outside of that, I loved the hotel and would recommend it to those who are a bit more adventurous and are ok living outside of the tourist trap.

My wife and I have just returned from Budapest and had a great time. Our son booked us into the Boutique Residence Budapest (Hotel) Hotel in brackets as it's not like any hotel we've been to before. As you approach the building our hearts were in our mouths as the place looked nothing like the pictures. Although it's a stone's throw from the Basilica the building is inauspicious to say the least. The entrance is sad and tired with a lift from the 50s. However as soon as the door is opened its like a different world. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the interior is modern and immaculately clean. The room (109)was a lovely size also very modern and immaculately clean. The bathroom was lovely and ultra modern, with good quality fittings. Basically everything you would need was there. Breakfast is the anomaly, the Continental breakfast is allocated to the room. It comes in cute baskets with your name and room number. It typically consists of 3 assorted bread rolls and a croissant each, with a butter, pot of pâté, three cherry tomatoes,a bottle of juice and a jam. More than adequate but odd. If you're looking for a great coffee and good selection of pastries cafe Artisan is a right turn out of the building and straight across the junction and on the right. The location is fantastic close enough to get around but not noisy. Public transport is fantastic, local and with the help from Google with the names, very easy to navigate. A great find, we would definitely stay here again.

I travel often to Budapest and always look for an accomodation that is out of the ordinary: the Pest-Buda perfectly fits in this category. The location is fantastic, near the Castle, and the building itself is extremely well renovated. The beds are amongst the best I‘ve ever slept in -that‘s something coming from an extensive traveller! The service was flawless: the manager went out of his way to help me even though it was Christmas. I warmly recommend this hotel to everybody looking for something special: I stayed in the Attic Suite and I‘ll surely come back! One thing that could be improved: the vathing towels could be a bit bigger and the vathroves were size „M“, so too small for me. The hotel might want to consider asking the guests which size they need: so much a better feeling to get out of the bathtub and slip on a comfortable bathrobe!

The shuttle bus from the airport to Garden House was about a 20 minute journey. Buzzed to get in and we felt welcomed and comfortable right from the start and to the end of our stay. The man on reception was helpful and informative. Then another man came in and like us, he was from England. He was outstanding with the amount of advice he gave us and places he recommended. He circled a few places on the map he gave us and that was useful. Dropped our bags off in the room (number 6) and we were away walking to the city centre. You can get to city centre areas in 10-12 minutes or so but to get to a riverside bridge maybe about half an hour. We discovered various eateries and bars on our way back and these were very good. McDonalds was also on the way and was useful for a quick snack. We did try local foods too! Some reviewers have said the area is a bit scruffy. Nah, it's not much different to many streets in the main centre and we have never felt safer in a major city than we did here no matter what time of day or night. Garden House - the staff - all friendly, polite and helpful Rooms - our room was good. The floor had a slight slant but it was fine. There is an angled wall in the bathroom and I banged my head on it EVERY day at least 2 or 3 times. We had a kettle and some coffee. The TV had lots of channels. I managed to track down an English speaking news channel. Yay! I also watched football and we all know we don't need any particular language for that. The shower was great! The room was pretty warm and that was good. garden - there is a small garden with a few seats and they are covered in case of rain. It was a very chilled out place to sit. Location - we tried many foods whilst in Hungary and because of this, we walked everywhere and did not use public transport so we could burn calories. So the location was perfect for us. It's not too far out anyway and we never had any problems finding our way back. The rooms were cleaned every day and we had new towels and the beds were made. We checked out on our last morning and we were allowed to keep our bags in the reception area so we went out and enjoyed our day. We were then permitted to use the garden area to sit in and wait for our shuttle and we could have coffee if we wanted it. The staff are so relaxed and friendly making it feel like a good temporary home. We had a great stay overall and we would totally recommend it.

After taking the airport from the airport 100E to the city station for a few minutes, you don't need to take a taxi at the airport or book a private car. Of course, the hotel selling point is also the location, other aspects are more common, the shower design is not scientific, the water is very easy to spill on the bathroom floor when taking a bath. The hotel room is small, the breakfast is more ordinary, of course, it is acceptable at the price of the hotel.

Six Inn Hotel After reading some of the derogatory and unnecessary replies from presumably the hotel management to some of the feedback on TripAdvisor I was in two minds about choosing this hotel. However, we had a lovely stay at this hotel in Hungary in early March. Easy to miss it’s part of a long narrow street of tall buildings. The receptionists are great with a genuine welcome and a run through of their hotel and of the attractions and how to get about their city. This is a good basic budget hotel just out of the center of Budapest. The room we had was on the 1st floor at the front overlooking the road. The room was very small with a small T.V on the wall, a wardrobe, a small table with no drawers, a bedside cabinet and bedside lamps and a small mini bar with waters and soft drinks in it. The bathroom had a shower cubicle, toilet, and wash hand basin with a shelf above and a low power hairdryer. There was good lighting in the bathroom which was good for applying makeup. There was a full size mirror in the entrance area and a ceiling fan above the bed and radiators in the bedroom and bathroom. The whole place was spotlessly clean. It stayed spotlessly clean for the full four nights we were there. The cleaning was outstanding. If you wanted a change of towels you just put the ones that you wanted changing in the bottom of the shower cubicle and they were taken and replaced with clean ones. Our room was next to the road but there was never any noise from the road at all. The breakfast room was very uninviting with no ambiance or atmosphere. A little background music would have helped. The girl who worked in there was unsmiling and didn’t speak. The breakfast had fruit, cereal, a choice of breads, cold meats and salami and cheese slices. There was cakes and croissants and jam. There was scrambled egg, boiled egg and a vegetable mix. One morning there was mushrooms but other than that it was the same every day. There was a toaster and toasty machine, juice and a good coffee machine but very small cups and glasses. It was open from 7 am to 10 am. I stuck to scrambled egg on toast. Their was someone on reception 24 hours a day which was very nice when we were coming in at 2 am in the morning. They had a small bar in reception that sold beer or tea & coffee as well as spirits. They had a happy hour for a couple of hours every afternoon. Anna and Agnes were really friendly and helpful and booked taxis for us and we saved money on tickets for the hop on hop off bus trips and river cruise. We also bought tickets for a pamper day at the beautiful and opulent Gellert Spa and hot springs on the Buda side of Budapest. We sat in the heated outdoor spa for over an hour before trying out the other thermal pools and steam rooms, power showers and swimming pool and sauna. We had lunch there and a few drinks and when we got back to the hotel, Agnes was still there to greet us with a “ hi how did you go on at the spa, did you enjoy i

The hotel is very clean and tidy, with convenient transportation and convenient access to the airport. Surroundings are red light districts and gambling alternative drug dispensing points, a little bit messy.

There is a large kitchen where you can cook your own meals. On the first day of arrival, the hostel also held a wine tasting session to communicate with people from all over the world. It was not easy to find the hostel. There was no obvious sign on the street. I relied on the people nearby to help me find the intersection of the hostel and had to carry my luggage to the third floor.
