I can't praise the staff at this hostel enough. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable with plenty on offer for out party of three children, three teens and my sister and me. We made use of the exceptionally well equipped gym (free to guests in the morning), the swimming pool (free all day) and the beach volley ball court. The onsite cafe and bar were closed due to Covid 19 restrictions but there were plenty of good places to eat locally. What really made this place five stars in my mind were the exceptional staff. They shared their passion for their country and made sure we had the best time possible. We are keen to return because we were made so welcome.
The stay was perfect as always. However, I was dissatisfied by the attitude of the receptionist when I checked out and asked for a possibility to go for breakfast earlier (6:40). She was not willing to go and ask their colleagues. I was just told it is impossible. I know that it is possible since I stayed at the hotel many times. Finally, a very nice waitress came and let me in earlier. BTW, she is the kindest person in your hotel I know and your creamy egg spread is really toothsome!
Location: Not in the city center, four stops from the center, but because it is not in the center, it is cheaper and more cost-effective. The hotel is surrounded by houses. It is not easy to find food. It is better to solve it in the city center. Room: Clean, basic supplies are complete, the best is a kettle. The hotel also delivered instant coffee and tea bags. The single room I booked was next to the restaurant. I met a group of guests on the first night. I chatted loudly in the restaurant late, very noisy. However, in addition to single rooms, other room types should not have this problem. Breakfast: basic, good quality.
The modern Troja hotel is situated in a prestigious residential area, on the right bank of the Vltava river, offering superb panoramic views of the city centre. The historic centre is easily accessible as there is a metro and tram station next to the hotel with a direct line to central Prague and the major historical attractions (5 stops to Wenceslas Square). The hotel offers a stylish gourmet restaurant with a summer and a winter garden and a café serving excellent coffee and traditional Bohemian desserts. All central train and bus stations, Troja Castle, the Botanic Gardens, the zoo, the Old Bohemian Market, all trade fairs and the largest shopping centre in the entire Czech Republic are accessible within 10 minutes. The hotel offers 2 types of private on-site parking, in a garage and outdoors in the hotel's garden. All the rooms are equipped with modern furniture, an office desk for business guests and wireless internet access. Most of the rooms offer a panoramic view of Prague and feature a balcony. The Troja gourmet restaurant with its summer and winter garden is well known for its seasonal specialities (each month traditional seasonal offers) and for the savoury Czech and international cuisine. It is open daily from 07:00 until 23:00 as is the cafe with its stylish atmosphere. Each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday there is live piano music played in the evenings. You can enjoy mixed drinks in the lobby bar or just relax in the winter garden surrounded by trees and a fish pond.
I highly recommend Hotel Plaza, a few tram stops from next to the hotel, to the center. As a result, it is a bit quieter, and at the same time quite close to the old town. The hotel staff speaks many languages, so it is easy to communicate if someone knows a language other than Polish. If we have a larger car, we can easily park it in a nearby parking lot, about 200m from the hotel. Rooms clean, cleaned every day. Very good breakfast, a large selection, for sure everyone will find something for themselves. Super desserts: D. If you want to spend a few days in Prague, don't hesitate!
This was our third time here. It has all year been our go to place and we used to like it a lot. I love the staff in the bar/kitchen. They are awesome. This third time our stay got ruined though. We were on the 4th floor with a lot of young Swedish men. They were making a lot of noise in the halls until after midnight all three days. The hotel have quiet hours from 22 to 07. I told them myself to keep it down, but it didn’t help. I then called the reception, where this very rude long haired guy cut me off and sounded very very annoyed two days in a row. The third day he hung up on us as we called to complain about the noise. He had an attitude after the first night. Very very bad service. It’s a shame, because this used to be a place we were looking forward to come to and we used to recommend this to others.
The Hotel Henrietta is located in a quiet residential area of Prague, 200 metres from the Kobylisy metro station. It offers a garage and free Wi-Fi. Parking on the street is free. All rooms in the Henrietta hotel have an en-suite bathroom and a satellite TV.Prague's Old Town can be reached within 10 minutes by metro. The Pra?ské Vystavi?tě Exhibition Centre, the Letnany Fairgrounds and Holesovice Train Station are about 3 km away. A public outdoor swimming pool is situated next to the Hotel Henrietta.
I chose this hotel because I needed accommodation near the Tipsport Arena, where I was at the evening concert. Residence Vysta was located directly opposite this arena, very close to the tram station. This was an accommodation for undemanding travelers. The equipment of my room was basic. It was clean there and although the hotel was located on a very busy street, there was quiet inside. The breakfast served on the ground floor was very simple but good. Check in and check out was quick, the staff was very nice.

The hotel has a convenient location. The center can be reached in 10-15 minutes. Everything in the hotel is at the highest level. There is a private parking. The staff at the reception, who know several languages, are always welcoming and friendly. I had a very nice and quiet room and it had everything I needed. I was most impressed by the tasty breakfasts. There is a wide variety of food, and there is also a choice of gluten-free products. I had a great time in the wellness. There are a gym and spa center. I really relaxed in the jacuzzi and sauna. I enjoyed staying in this hotel. And I'll definitely come back.
I stayed in the 6 person dorm for a night which was nice being all cots and no bunkbeds. I then switched into the 12 person dorm which was bunks and had one shared bathroom for the 2 room (24 ppl). After I stayed in a private which was very small and the room was laid out so the two single beds could not be pushed together! I met some cool guests on the Friday but the rest of the days the place was empty. Also like all of Prague it is overpriced.
Hotels Near Charles University Troja Dormitory In Prague Review
The location is particularly good, just beside the market, near the Prague Square, downstairs are a variety of restaurants, bars and convenience stores. However, the hotel may be a long time away. There is an unpleasant smell when pushing the door. Because it is summer, there is no air conditioning in the room, only a small hair dryer, and I am awakened in the middle of the night. If you don't mind these facilities, the location is really good. You can walk around all the sights around Prague Square on foot.
I stayed in the Royal Road Residence with my mom in november. Its amazing location, you can literally get to all main attractions by walking. The old Town Square is just 6 mins walking!!! When you come there is a small sign and you should ring the bell to come inside. Reception is in the 1st floor. The staff were very friendly and caring and offered us some hot drinks. We asked them to give us room with balconu and we were so lucky they still got one! The view was AMAZING!! The only thing it was a little bit noisy during weekend because the crowd never finishes on this street. Breakfast was good, specially fresh waffles with chocolate. We stayed for a week and the cleaning was done twice. I will definately come back to this family residence once I am in Prague.
A good hotel, I feel that the service is a bit cold. I am given a room with a skylight. This skylight is very high. I can’t reach one meter and seven. To open this window and pull the curtains, I have to use a pole. The second time was an uncle waiter to help me get it (he said that he would call him again in the future, this praise is very good), but I think it is very troublesome to call people to open the door every time. Later I learned each time. a sweat
Chose this hotel due to the location, easy walk to sights, shops, restaurants and for the value it represented. Reception staff were polite and helpful on arrival and the whole place was very stylish. Room was a good size, very modern and very clean. Bed was comfortable and aircon/heating was quiet providing a great nights sleep. Loved having extras such as robes/slippers in the room. Minor thing would be lack of storage with only one drawer and very small hanging space. Breakfast had good selection on offer, something to suit most people. Staff, although efficient, could speak to guests. No-one spoke to us on any of the 3 days we had breakfast, not even to explain things on the first morning. Also a shame about the lobby bar. No one uses it as is not staffed, just there if you ask at reception I think. Also bright lights and no atmosphere so hardly enticing. However none of these little things would stop me recommending this hotel.
I stayed a couple of nights here wanting to avoid the crowded touristic center. The area is certainly not touristic, I found it quite shady and dirty. I had dinner in two Vietnamese restaurants close by, both were good. My room was on the top floor. It was a simple spacious, quiet and clean. The reception was very friendly and breakfast just fine. The tram takes you to the center but if you want some exercise stroll through the nice Vitkov park where the impressive National Monument is located.
The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂
The exterior of the hotel is very low-key, the lobby is as magnificent as the palace, and the rooms are good. The service is attentive, and you can feel the quality of the old school hotel.
The hotel was formerly a bank building, so in the evening, I went to VAULT's remodeled lounge for a glass of cognac. It was very quiet and quiet, no one disturbed, NICE.
I rushed to the early flight the next day. The hotel said that if you can't have breakfast, you can help pack the breakfast box. It is very considerate, but we still rushed to the airport before eating.
The location is very close to the train station. In the afternoon, you can see the supermarkets, restaurants, and some interesting shops that live in the locals. You can feel different from the old town tourist area, but the same beauty.
The location of this hotel is extremely convenient, just a short walk to the Charles Bridge on a quiet square in Malá Strana. It was very easy to find and only a short walk from Malasranska metro station. The breakfast provided is also fine; nothing spectacular but adequate. The pictures provided are quite a bit nicer than our room, but it was clean and had an old world charm. And yet to get to our room, we had to haul our luggage up 2 flights of stairs (42 in total) up a narrow, winding staircase. The receptionist said that they do have a small lift for a couple of rooms provided for those with disabilities, but being relatively healthy 72 year olds, they were not available. (and no one is available to assist). So, we dragged the luggage, stair by stair up, then 4 days later dragged them back down. The bathtub is also not meant for anyone over the age of 50 that isn't limber enough to carefully climb in, then carefully climb out again. Hopefully those few rooms reserved for folks with disabilities have a shower or something less dangerous. Again, the hotel has an excellent location in a quieter area than the Old Town, but we would never return.
Luxurious and clean room, very nice staff. Perfect location in the city centre, public transport few minutws away. We booked the room at very last moment and everything went well. Thank you for your perfect service and looking forward to next visit!
Myself an daughter have just arrived back from having a wonderful weekend here. Such a beautiful 13th Century Hotel with fantastic original features. We had a beautiful suite, which was just perfect. It consisted of living area with a 3 seater sofa, double bed settee, dining table that seats 5 people, a huge wardrobe, a fridge, kettle and 4 huge windows. The bedroom had a king size bed, which was fine for me and my daughter to share. Bathroom was lovely and lots of luxuries (shampoo, shower gel and soap) .... the hotel was in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the Clock Tower and about 5 mins to walk to Wenceslas Square. Plenty of restaurants and pears close by. The staff at the hotel were really fantastic, thank you so much Kate, Viktoriya and Renata, nothing was too much to ask, great communication before we left to arrange a driver to do airport pick up and drop off at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was very good, with plenty to choose from. Never went hungry at all.... will I stay here again?? Oh yes I would 😀😀 I would most definitely recommend the hotel and wonderful staff. Thank you once again for such an amazing weekend 😀😀
The hotel is next to the Charles Bridge. The apartment is a 3-minute walk. We will take the keys to the hotel first, then let the driver drive to the apartment. The driver will not do it because it is a one-way street. It takes more than 2 kilometers to detour. During the peak period, the driver said that it would take 20 minutes. After that, we said that we paid extra. The driver agreed. It took 15 minutes to get there. So if there are other students who book this apartment, it is recommended to go directly to the apartment and let the person go to the front desk. Take the key. The location is very good, next to the Lennon Wall and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, very quiet, in stark contrast to the crowds of the old town, I am glad that I have not booked the old town. I booked a family room with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. The description reads that I can see the Prague Castle. The actual room is the 1st floor room (actually the 2nd floor). I can see that I have been blocked by other buildings. I can’t see the landscape. . There is an elevator, but the design is unreasonable. The elevator can only go to the mezzanine of each floor, so if you walk down the half-story stairs with a big box, you have to walk up the half-story stairs. However, the room size is very large, the living room is very comfortable, and the heating is sufficient, so that our group of people who have unfortunately encountered the coldest May in Europe feel very warm. The kitchen facilities are very new, very complete, with washing machine and dryer, but not useful. The only bad thing is that the bathroom design is unreasonable. There is only one small bathroom (there is a dock and a washstand) in the whole room. 1 bath room (one bathtub, one washstand, one shower room, there is no toilet), so 4 people actually live. Inconvenient, the toilet should be lined up, and the bathing should be lined up. This time, several apartments in the Austrian Czech tour are like this. Normally, if the extra bathroom is marked, it is usually equipped with bathing equipment, or at least in the apartment. 2 piers, only Austria, the Czech Republic encountered an extra bathroom or no toilet, or no bathing equipment. But the whole hotel feels very good, the little girl at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, I will book this next time.
If you are not a family, it is recommended not to live in an apartment here. There are two rooms in the house, two double beds and one single bed, but you have to climb the building yourself, there is no elevator, on the fifth floor, like I happen to have leg injuries these days, It is extremely disturbing. Have breakfast and go downstairs to the breakfast restaurant next door.
If you are not sure about their apartment building, it is also recommended to decide their home. The airport ae line goes to the train station. The train station is 1.4km. If you take a taxi, it will cost 320-600 crowns, which is equivalent to 90-180 yuan, but only 2.5 kilometers. The hotel gave 450 crowns, but I gave them 500 crowns, and the driver would not ask you for money, and he directly asked you to tip him.
The only good thing is that the breakfast is good and hard, but the taste is good and there are many varieties. But the rooms are relatively long and the equipment is average.
Opposite the hotel is the Astronomical Clock, and the entrance is the Prague Square. Although it is not far away, it is a little noisy at Christmas markets.
Great location, not far from center, a train station, and tourist attractions, the hotel brewery offered a great deal for my stay. Since I booked more than 2 nights, I also got free tour. The check-in took a bit longer because they wanted to transcribe every part of my passport. Also, you can't take your keys out-side; you have to leave them at the reception upon exiting. The hotel itself was nice, it has a lot of old charm to the building and the rooms. My room was good for one person, with comfy beds and skylight and all of them were situated on the top-most floor. The bathroom was weird. The the bathtub was situated next to the angled wall, so if you're tall, you have to crouch to take a shower. It's a shower handle, and not fixed to the wall, so your showers are a bit awkward. The beer tour was great, just make sure you book when you arrive and they'll schedule a time with you. It's a small tour (about 20 minutes), but the guy is was really great and spoke both in Czech and English. Plus you got a free 1/2 pint of beer. Breakfast was great. It had both hot and cold food like cooked and soft-boiled eggs and sausages, with lots of drink options. It's buffet style, so eat at your heart's content. Otherwise, room was nice, it had all the amenities as described.
The breakfast is quite good. It is not far from the subway station. It takes three or five minutes to walk. It is better to have less luggage. It is more convenient because the road has ups and downs and is small rocks. The road is not flat. The road, but where to go, is actually very close, there are several restaurants on the side, playing there.
In the attic, there are three types of accommodation in this hotel. This is the best. The downstairs is a porch. There is a big bed upstairs, two single beds, space is OK, suitable for children, and on the top floor. No noisy, the bathroom space is also bigger! This hotel only recommends this room type!
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We were sent here because the hotel we booked was closed unexpectedly. The first thing I will say is that, in my opinion this is not a 4* hotel. I suspect it has gained 4* due to it having a sauna. Nothing seemed 4* to me. It is certainly not luxurious. There is no lounge and, although it does have a bar, it is a dark, very small room with 2 tables in it. I never saw the bar open during my stay. We had a double room which had a large double bed. The mattress was VERY firm, which I liked but wouldn't be to everyone's comfort. The room was dark and very small with just enough space to walk around each side/ end of the bed. There was no main light, so just the small lamps each side of the bed. There was a large wardrobe. There was a sign saying that due to Covid, rooms were being serviced every other day instead of every day. Thats fair enough, but we saw no signs of this and our room was not attended to during our 4 nights there. Breakfast was average with a small selection of hot food, cereals, toast and fruit. Not bad, but nothing to get too excited about. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is just a 15/ 20 mins walk from the main Old Town square. If all you want is somewhere to sleep after a long day walking and sightseeing, you'll probably be content here. If you want anything else from your accommodation, look elsewhere.
I haven't been to Prague very often, but I live here every time.
Advantages: There is an underground parking lot, convenient parking and low parking fees. Breakfast was ok. Service attitude is of course no problem.
What do hotels in Prague say, it would be a little disappointing if you expected five-star hotel suites. But considering actual prices, it's worth the money. Anyway, you have a penny. The same price in Western European cities will also get the standard room of a hotel of the same grade.
The suite area is not small, the double bathroom is very practical, and the room is very complete. But it feels that the entire building and decoration hardware is old, and the interior decoration has very obvious traces of use. The bedroom is quite satisfactory, the area is large enough, the bathroom is a shower, and the bed including the bedding is very comfortable. The living room is slightly cramped, mainly because the sofa, coffee table and TV are large, but the writing desk is relatively small. This depends on actual needs. It is a little inconvenient if there are some office requirements.
Little hostel in Mala Strana, 10 mins walking from the city center. Nice neighborhood, calm with beautiful architecture. The hostel itself is very charming, clean and ”young”. The owners are very welcoming, we arrived sooner than the check-in time, but they made up our room within 30 mins for us to be comfortable. Speaking about the bedroom, we booked the couple one. I wasn't expecting such space! It was like a mini suite, with very nice bathroom (shower and bathtub) and toilets. Big and comfortable bed, large wardrobe, to be short very nice accommodation. Good breakfast for 7 euros/pp (all you can eat buffet)
Very quiet, very good. The bathroom is very clean. The traffic is very convenient. From the train station, take the 5th line and 5 stations will arrive. The waiter at the front desk is very handsome and the service attitude is very good! Unfortunately, there is no public kitchen, but in Central Europe, this price is already very satisfactory!
Entertaining customers, this hotel is very convenient for taking customers to visit the Old Town, Charles Bridge, Prague Square, Astronomical Clock, and watch various performances. The rooms are medium in size, all facilities are also available, the staff is warm and responsive!
Booked on the APP. You only need to fill in the address and signature when checking in, and show your ID. Arrived early. So you can choose a double bed or two single beds. Breakfast time is 6:30-10:30, very good. Four-star hotels in Europe, very good in every respect. When I first arrived at the hotel. It's a bit amazing, because the hall is magnificent. The waiters are very good. Stayed for two nights and it was very comfortable. It only takes a few seconds to check out.
My room was specious with romantic views of Prague. The locality is quiet, with parks and nice restaurants around and right in the historic heart of Prague. There is tram and metro stop next to the hotel so you can get easily anywhere you need. The famous Astrological Clock is only about 10 min walk across the bridge as well as the Charles Bridge. The staff was helpful and nice. The breakfasts were tasty and sufficient.
We had originally booked this hotel for Sept. 2020 but with COVID it took us 2 years to get there. Suprisingly the hotel gave a credit for the original booking, which certainly impressed me. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The hotel is within walking distance of everything. Although its so close to the Charles Bridge and the hordes of tourists, we stayed in the annex and felt like we were worlds away. The food was good at breakfast and the restaurant was excellent for dinner. However, I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel! From the moment we arrived they gave us tips on how and where to go. They were extremely helpful. Finally and perhaps most important the night manager helped us navigate the ambulance service when my husband had a medical emergency. I'm not sure what we would have done without him. His level of concern was touching and I can't thank him enough. Even without this event, I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be in the heart of Prague but feel like they are in an oasis of calm.
Really nice hotel. Friendly staff. Booked taxis form and to the airport for set price of 800. Big rooms and even bigger beds. Good breakfast. Bonus was bar on street terrace to enjoy a cocktail people watching on the square. Decent location. Only downside was it was a little noisy having a room at the front but then you do get a good view.
We have been to many hotels including 5 stars and must say that first impression is that this is not a 5 stars hotel. You cannot feel the little extra service or something extraordinary. We stayed here for 1 week and here are our thoughts; - Breakfast: Poor and boring quality. Between 3 and 4 stars. Some 4 stars hotels have better breakfast and better service. - Room: Good size, low quality. Difficult to get right temperature. Old furniture. Hard bed. We ordered queen/king size bed, instead we got 2 singel (big) beds that were put together, with an annoying and painful space in the middle. - Service: Reception very good, restaurant looks like people there hate their jobs. - Guestbook or guidebook could be helpful in case we need something. We had trouble with the something and couldn't figure out how to do it, no guidebooks were there. And when we tried to call reception there were no phone books or numbers displayed on the phone, which means we had to go downstairs and ask for help. - Bathroom: good quality and size. - Location: Ok. Not far from city center and other attractions.
Top! Good room, extensive breakfast, good location to visit Prague with tram. The room was spacious and very clean. The room girl was very friendly like this from the reception. What I saw for the first time was that when we cleaned the tables, the crawls, fruits and other residues were crushed on the table were simply wiped with a stick on the ground.
8 min from main railway station, 8 min from Altstädter Ring, the very center of town. Clean, renovated rooms, clean bathroom with shower, rich breakfast, friendly personell and a sensational prize, I'll come again. Only downside: noise when the windows are open (no aircondition)
The check-in was very tortuous. First of all, one thing that Ctrip really hates is that the double bed and double bed are always arranged by the hotel, and the double bed room is remarked. As a result, I gave the double bed. I called the front desk several times and no one answered, and one was picked up. Hang up, I insisted on calling, and finally answered the phone and said that the front desk is busy. We will contact you later. After waiting for more than ten minutes, we went to the front desk to communicate. The front desk said that someone had changed the room so that there was no one in the original room. . Finally, I went upstairs and downstairs two or three times, and an Asian lady at the front desk said that we had a double bed. Definitely double bed. Either she lied or Ctrip changed the order, it was very tortuous, and the service was average. But if the problem is solved, it doesn't matter. Breakfast is ok, enough to eat. There are still a lot of people. Due to the epidemic, the Chinese have not been open to travel much, otherwise there should be more people! The parking lot turns right underground at the hotel for 770 crowns a night. Separate payment has nothing to do with the hotel. The city centre is just a walk away. Prague Square is very convenient within ten minutes of walking. Maybe you will choose it in the future. There is a set of L’Occitane toiletries. Overall it's pretty good. The aroma of the hotel lobby smells good. was complicated for checking in. Booked king size bed instead of twin bed. The reception said the reservation was twin. That’s absolutely wrong. I’m not sure she is lying or Ctrip made wrong comment. Anyway. They changed for us.
We are at the reception desk around 9:00 pm local time. It is easy to find a building next to the accommodation building. It is easy to find next to Paris Street. It is the kind of hotel-style apartment in the alley next to the Hermes counter. The environment is very clean and clean. No toothbrush and toothpaste is provided. The only inconvenience of waiting for daily necessities is that the elevator can only stop at half floor and still need to carry luggage and climb half a floor. Overall, the price is still OK.
