|0.82km from city centerWe stayed here from 9-18th October. We had a brilliant family holiday with our three children aged 7, 5 & 3yrs. The entertainment team were brilliant. Staff throughout the hotel worked extremely hard and were all very approachable. They always made the kids smile especially the staff in the restaurant. The food was plentiful, something for everyone, none of us ever felt hungry as there was always a variety of choice. The snack bar at the pool area was a great hit with the kids, as well as the ice cream and slushies. We spent a lot of time at the splash pool area, so much so that the kids didn't want to leave the hotel to see more of Cala Dor! They were so entertained from morning until night that they didn't want to go anywhere else, and that's really saying something. Our room was a 2 bed apartment, which was clean, tidy, spacious, and the air con worked well. We were on the first floor and had large balconies at both sides. The cleaners came 9 days out of 10 and we always had fresh towels. There is a beautiful small beach right across the road which we also loved. We will definitely return next year. An excellent value family holiday in which we made amazing memories to last a lifetime!

|1km from city centerWe thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night all inclusive stay at this incredibly clean hotel. Our room was spotless with a large balcony. All the staff were lovely and always had a smile on their faces even though they worked so hard and long hours. A special mention for Amanda who was clearing the plates near us while we dined. My husband said to me oh I picked up two salt and no pepper by mistake. Amanda heard my husband and immediately said I will go and get you some. We were both touched by her kindness as she was so busy. The food was fresh and delicious. Being a veggie, I did live on salads but veggies are hard to cater for. Also I ate chicken to my horror as it was hiding in one of the salads. I've not eaten meat for years so it was a bit of a shock to me. Better labelling of meat in the salads would be better for us veggies please when we rely on the salads as it's hard to find things to eat. My husband, a meat eater thoroughly enjoyed all the choice. There is no indoor lounge bar which was a huge disappointment for us as it was freezing on our first night and entertainment and bar are just outdoors. Many of us went to get our blankets from our rooms to keep off the cold. Subsequent nights the weather was warmer but it was still disappointing having to stay outdoors all night. I couldn't read my book on the loungers by the pool as they are in 'lie down' position only and cannot be put upright so you can't sit up with your back supported by the pool. We did enjoy our stay very much though and these minor things would have made our stay perfect.

|0.31km from city centerLast min solo traveler, I wanted to enjoy last European warm days, 1st time in Mallorca, didn’t research well what to do where to go, so I wanted to relax in Cal D’or, this hotel is perfect! 50 mtrs from the bus stop, and like 3 blocks from a great small Cala, 100 mts from a main street w shops restaurants bars etc, the room is spotless, hairdryer, a balcony if you want to smoke, a pool (i never use pools but for the ones who do) the price is unbelievable and the basic breakfast buffett is great, I wd recommend this to all my friends And I loved the lemon tree close to my balcony!

|0.24km from city centerStepping in through the entrance I thought I had entered a spa ,tranquil , contemporary reception which smelt amazing .reception efficiently processed the necessary paperwork whilst we sipped a welcoming drink ,phew just breathe. No need to pay extra for towels or use of safe this is included. The Tucan is ideally situated a few steps from shops and beautiful beach Cala gran . We stayed in a third floor room with a side sea view. A bottle of water was in the small fridge which we used to keep our own drinks in . Tv had good reception with English channels wi fi was reliable . The bed was large and comfortable and I slept really well .air con seemed to work really well although in October not as hot as summer months. Bathroom waterfall shower was really lovely ,hairdryer was powerful and quick to dry my hair.room kept spotless by the team of maids that worked tirelessly to keep everywhere gleaming. Food was delicious ,breakfast amazing variety of hot and cold food.lunch at the snack bar was restaurant quality absolutely spot on. Dinner was varied and a different theme available each night , a huge choice and the desserts were absolutely delicious , best I have had at an a.I. Hotel. The pool area is clean and has multiple sun bed s, Bali beds never overcrowded a nice atmosphere with the animator friendly and inclusive but not over zealous.the small gym and spa were clean and the jacuzzi relaxing. Evening entertainment was easy going usually a vocalist and it everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, helped no doubt by the unwavering efforts of the bar staff who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s glass was never empty for more than a moment .remembering what you you like to drink and delivered with a smile despite being so busy. All the staff at the hotel are so engaging and helpful and make you feel so welcome they are what makes the Tucan fly above other hotels I have stayed at .if you stay you will want to return again and again ……

The room was very clean, I chose a room facing the sea, I woke up every day in the beautiful scenery of the sunrise on the sea, and I was in a good mood all day. The hotel has its own four swimming pools, one of which is on the shore rock, and it is especially convenient to swim in the sea and rest on the shore. In the evening, the hotel also has a bar singing, and the atmosphere is very good. And this hotel has 16 years old and above to live, so all leisure areas are very quiet, no children are noisy. In addition, we went at the end of October, it was already the end of the tourist season, so there were not many people and it was not crowded anywhere.

|0.89km from city centerOver the last few years I have had the fortune of staying in a number of hotels, hostels and holiday lets. This is by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We arrived at 2am due to flight times/easyjet transfers delays. Upon arrival I had to search for someone to be able to check us in. We started travelling at 7am the prior day so this was less than ideal. The receptionist did then ask us if we wanted something to eat but at that point we were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. We then arrive in the room (one bed apartment) which was a really good size, decent balcony but felt a little bit unclean. Not to worry, we were tired and went to sleep. The next day we got up to head down to breakfast. The first breakfast we had was the best meal of the trip; it rapidly went downhill from here. The food was that bad we didn't eat at the hotel, save for making cheese sandwiches at lunchtime, for the 2nd half of our week. This seemingly was common as we often found the other guests at the same restaurants each night. The drinks machines were also not good. The drinks all tasted completely off so we spent most the time going to the shop to buy drinks. I think, particularly as a fatty, I'm the first person to go on an all inclusive holiday and come home having lost weight. After that breakfast we went back up to the room to prepare for the day. The shower and taps were salt water (the only place you can seemingly get ”fresh” water from is an old beer tap) . The shower pressure was awful and the shower ran hot then cold with no consistency. We then headed down to the also salty and freezing pool. The best place to sunbathe was up on the sun terrace away from the pool, unfortunately though this appeared to be where the older sunbeds were put. Most of them had torn or slacked or were mouldy. This was massively disappointment as it was a great area. It would also be great if they could make that spot adults only. We headed off to the beach for a swim, the beach is lovely albeit small and is so, so close to the hotel. The sea was warmer than the pool. The entertainment was ok and it felt like the staff were trying their hardest with what they'd been provided with. The music throughout the day was pleasant except for the one day that the 5 same songs played on repeat and none of the staff seemed to notice for 3 hours. Due to Spanish laws you can't smoke within the hotel grounds, even as a smoker I completely agree with this, however, the designated smoking area is the entrance to the hotel. It stunk and was filthy. Not the best welcome back to the hotel. The staff (particularly the evening bar man and the guy that did the pool bar during the day) were really friendly and a good laugh. They always had a smile for you despite always being on their own. |1.13km from city centerOur 3rd visit to Las Rocas and yet again loved every minute. The staff are so friendly and helpful and some even remembered us from previous visits. We stayed in A316 which had amazing views and the room and hotel as always was spotless. There was lots to do and we even went jet skiing for 90 minutes around the caves which we booked independently with a company down at the harbour. The app for the hotel works well, one of the screws came out of the chair and I reported it on the app and within 30 minutes maintenance was there to fix it. The food was good, different themes throughout the week for evening meals, with lots of choice for vegetarians also. We went for 10 nights and we are already in the process of booking our next holiday for next year for 14 nights with family.

|1.16km from city centerMy boys and I had 5 days/nights at this hotel and after reading some of the reviews we were very skeptical - there was no need to be and we really couldn't fault it one bit. Arrived at about 11 in the evening was quickly checked in and told that there was food in the restaurant if we were hungry, given it was only continental cold bits and bread but still a nice touch. Room was nice enough, spacious, clean enough (abit of sand on the floor) air con worked well. We found if you put any kind of card in the holder and leave it in then it pretty much stays on all day and night. Shower a little salty but nice enough. cleaners came in daily to make beds and put in fresh towels. We didn't bother with the safe but locked everything away in our case. Food really good, for all inclusive yes it does get very samey but there was plenty of choice and it was fresh and tasty, there was themed nights and show cooking (eggs, pancakes, chicken, fish etc) We never struggled to find something we liked. The only little down side in the restaurant was that there was one toaster which you'd have to queue up to use for breakfast but we managed it and I wouldn't down rate it for that! Throughout the day the snack bar was open for burgers, hot dogs and crepes and fruit and pastries, drinks were good enough for us - help your self to beer, water on tap, hot drinks machine, juices and fizzy pops. Entertainment around the pool was also very good, the team did water aerobics and various other things through out the day and then put on shows in the evening, again all very good. The only thing I would say is that the hotel caters for the French, there is alot of French spoken by the staff however they also said most things in English and Spanish, there were a few English families and none of us felt left out or that it was a problem. Its a big hotel and was quite busy but you never struggled to find a table to sit at for your meals and there was always plenty of sunbeds and seating around the pools. The pools were lovely, there are shops and a couple of bars outside and a beach 5 mins one way and another 10 mins the other way. The internet that you can pay for is abit hit and miss in places, as the hotels big we couldn't get it in our room but the kids just hot spotted from mine. Personally I would say pay the extra on your phone bill if you can rather that paying their price for it if you want to be on the internet alot. On check out day we had to check out by 12 but we checked out after breakfast, the AI band stayed on and we put our cases inside a little room for safe keeping and enjoyed the rest of the day around the pool, You can still use all facilities until you leave and they even gave us a key to a spare room to shower and get ready before we left. All in all the staff work had and the hotel its self is really nice for a 3star we really couldn't complain about anything and would happily go back!

|0.35km from city centerMy wife and I spent 4 nights here towards the end of October.The hotel was lovely-spotlessly clean,and very well located.Our room had a side sea view which was excellent,but the orientation meant that the sun disappeared from the large balcony early in the afternoon.Breakfast was very good-lots of choice,particularly the wonderful pastries.Having said all that ,there was a definite end of season feel to the hotel,and we were disappointed that the restaurant closed for dinner the night after we arrived.There was no mention of this on the website when we booked.Sun beds were being stacked away on our last day ( to be fair it was raining a bit) and it was clear that they were getting ready to close. We had booked direct,which was a bonus,not only on price,but we got early check in and late check out,and an upgraded room,so I would recommend this. We would definitely stay here again,especially as it is adults only-one of the reasons we chose it.A lovely place to stay.

|0.24km from city centerDie Kommunikation im Vorfeld war schon bemerkenswert gut. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise alles mega entspannt und easy. Zimmer waren gut eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war mit Liebe zubereitet und auf das Bedürfnis des Einzelnen angepasst. Die Lage ist perfekt, da in 3 Gehminuten Innenstadt, Strand und Hafen zu erreichen sind. Durch die Lage in einer Seitenstraße ist es dort unglaublich leise und man kann hervorragend schlafen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass wir dort Gäste sein durften. Kann mir keine bessere Unterkunft vorstellen.

Upon arrival you are greeted with a big smile and a lot of kindness, the rooms are cleaned every day, towels and beds made every day, you are given an umbrella for the beach and the location is the top! Who writes that it is a poor structure, should go to a 4-star and st **** ne in the pool! We went there in 2019 and went back on purpose this year and we will definitely be back!
