My husband and I stayed at the Amansara just last weekend for a short staycay during the Covid-19 period (oh they take extra precautions at the property, taking temperatures of guests twice a day, offering masks and hand sanitizers at all times) when Siem Reap has hardly any tourists. It was our first Aman stay and WOW, we are now looking forward to checking out their other properties worldwide. A masterpiece of Khmer architecture, I fell in love with the courtyards upon checking in, the tranquil environment in the heart of Siem Reap will bring your restful soul peace and serenity despite the hustle and bustle around. Sadly they were running on low occupancy (just 1 other guest during our stay) so we got upgraded to a pool suite and offered a super late check-out. The spa was closed but we utilised the gym a couple of times, I must say it's well equipped, and one of the best gyms I've ever been to with state of the art machines. Food was AMAZING, go for their Khmer fare, it varies daily and never disappoints. I literally ate the same dishes everyday when I was there, Chef Daniel was superb, he took care of my food allergies & even shared the rice noodle and porridge recipes with us. For some meals we ordered room service and we were impressed with how the different courses were served just like in the restaurant, first they brought the appetizers, 15 mins later the main dishes came, lastly the dessert. I was picked up by an old school Mercedes Benz from the Sofitel where I was residing at prior, the ride was short but it added to the experience. The property actually offers a range of activities- they change it on a monthly basis depending on season and weather, unfortunately most were suspended during our stay due to Covid so we only managed a short tour of Angkor Wat and some of the surrounding temples, which was good enough for us. The most memorable was how they managed to take my spectacles to an optician to get it fixed over an hour and the effort made by Bunsak, their front desk manager who managed to find us a driver at the very last minute when we departed as our personal driver backed out. These little touches added to our Aman experience, yes it comes with a price but it's definitely worth it for the impeccable service rendered by each and everyone at the Amansara. I miss my home already, thank you Astrid, Daniel, Bunsak, Lohn, Bunheouom, Rata, Sokhy, and Sri Aun for your hospitality and care. Hope our paths will cross again soon! Best wishes, Bong Alison & Bong Steven from Suite 14 (27-29 March)

The hotel is a 12-minute walk from the Old Market, a 5-minute walk from the Angkor Museum, and a 2-minute walk from Sihanoukville Park and the Palace. It is about 25-30 minutes from the airport tutuk car (depending on whether there is a traffic jam, generally there is no traffic jam). You can enjoy the river view along the way, and the road is safe. If you are not afraid of getting too hot during the day, you don't need a tutuk car. But be careful when crossing the road, because there are fewer traffic lights along the way. The hotel has a swimming pool, and there are rooms on the first and second floors. They are clean and hygienic. The overall style is very local and simple. The rooms are reasonably partitioned, offer a variety of drinks, have a refrigerator, and serve a free snack every day. The hotel's park is rich in vegetation and elegant, and will wake up in the morning from the sound of birds singing outside the window. Nice staff, great breakfast! Chinese and lunch are comparable in price to the famous restaurants in the old market, but the options are relatively limited. So if you are not tired, it is recommended that breakfast be settled at the hotel. For Chinese dinner, go to the famous restaurants in the old market to taste the special features. You can also go to the online red spa shop. The transportation is very convenient.

Great value for money, only $10 a night for a double room with fan. Easy walking distance to the centre & not noisy at night. Called a great tuk tuk driver for us to do Angkor Wat with, his name was Don and he made the experience much easier. Staff were not overly friendly but very efficient and helpful. Would 100% stay here again. Don't expect anything too grand, but its clean and does the job comfortably!

This hotel has a good style. The night of the check-in happened to be New Year's Eve on December 31. The waitress told us not to go out at night to attend their dinner. Curious, I joined. The result turned out to be wonderful. The candle-lit bar counter in the swimming pool, learning to make a lotus dedicated to the Buddha, and sending us a scarf for each of our guests were great! The best part is the French meal section with live music performance. The French meal is strictly in accordance with the French standard. One example comes up, it is orderly, and the taste is great. The main course is when you check in the hotel, the waiter will ask you what you like, I picked the fish ... The service was great. My friend was suffering from heat stroke while traveling to Angkor Wat, and motion sickness caused vomiting and diarrhea. When I asked the waiter for the corresponding medicine, they sent someone to the room to check the status of my friend, and told me the specific location and route of the nearby clinic. After I went there, I found that the clinic was closed. The waiter foreman told me very seriously, I suggest that I take my friend to the local hospital as soon as possible, instead of treating it by my own method (by the way, if someone has diarrhea or vomiting and diarrhea is very bad, it may be electrolyte disorders, it is recommended to use salt and sugar water to try). Fortunately, my friend really improved the next day and jumped out alive, but a few young waiters were impressed with the customer's highly responsible attitude! By the way, the hotel is fully English-speaking and requires basic English clearance. There are many European and American tourists staying here, especially elegant ladies who are a little older, and young couples with a little taste in the country. In short it is highly recommended and I hope this hotel will add a touch of elegance to your Angkor visit

Super hotel! The staff is kind and enthusiastic 🉐️ like family members, take the initiative to say hello, chat and say hello to us. As if making us think of living in Mandarin Oriental. The 80 square meter suite is super large. The living room is at least 40 square meters. It is also equipped with a kitchen and a single door refrigerator. It is super suitable for home. The swimming pool is big and beautiful, like a garden. There are shallow water areas and deep water areas, the children have a super fun. Stayed for 6 nights and switched to the next-door j7hotel. I regret it. Great drop. The hotel is in an excellent location. The door is the largest shopping mall in the area. Still want to come and live for a week. Low season RMB 550 per night, almost perfect hotel. Definitely the top hotel in Angkor.

We loved this hotel! The owner Nini was so friendly and helpful, helped us with booking temple tours and excursions and booked our bus from siem reap to Ho Chi Minh too! They have their own tuktuk service whom we arraigned two full day trips for a very reasonable price considering one day we visited 5 temples and the driver waited for us at each one the whole day 8am till 6pm! The following day he took us on a 2 hour drive to the river of 1000 lingas which we assumed would take the whole day but didn’t so he took us to some more small temples to make the most of our time! Couldn’t have asked for a better service! The room was more than we expected for the price we paid using Agoda and was very clean and comfortable. Food served at the hotel is to a good standard and there is a pool you can use at the sister hotel over the road too.

I was worried whether to stay at the airport on the first night, but I decided here because of my heart. I know the goodness of a Japanese inn, but I knew myself that I couldn't do that today, so I thought about throwing me into the Japanese inn. Everyone had their shoes peeled off at the entrance. The inn was usually a fan-only room, but this was good for the time. The clasp that prevents it from opening inside was crushed and was meaningless. The frontman was kind and polite. There were no people in the surveillance but I was looking at the camera and I felt the security was OK. Breakfast was normal, but the proof was dark and I felt that it was a little downside. I could only see the roof next to the room window.

The family and staff were wonderful and gracious hosts. The atmosphere was friendly and we made to feel like a member of the family. There is a no-shoes policy. The room and public spaces were squeaky clean. Air conditioning a plus. Location was convenient and was walkable distance to places such as Old Market and Pub Street. If we wanted to venture further, the family has several tuk tuks available. The family was very helpful and accommodating. They helped us arrange trips and provide great recommendations for things to do and to eat. We are especially grateful to them for connecting us to La Rorn (has a same Facebook handle), who was our very personable English speaking guide to the temples. La was super knowledgeable and planned one of our best days of our visit and turned out to be a superb photographer. The family also helped us arrange and prepay for bus transportation to Phnom Phen (which required them to make several calls to multiple bus companies). We were very happy with the bus experience. The family’s selection of services and who they engage was an extension of the high standard to which they hold themselves. We highly recommend Seven Candles Guest House and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Quite quiet, suddenly one dollar to Bar Street, the power socket is too big, too loose, not easy to use, there is a bad waiter in the restaurant, we asked him to make a call and let our sudden driver come to pick us up. Promised to come and pick us up, but the waiter called him and didn't know what he said to our driver. He told us that the sudden driver could not come and asked us to book a car with him. I thought the waiter was too bad. Our schedule was disrupted, and I was in a bad mood ... and the first night we came to check in, we started to give us a very poor small room on the first floor corner, which was not a luxury double room I had booked. The bed room said that the rooms were full and we could not book the room for us. The communication was unsuccessful. When we were going to call Ctrip to make a complaint, the manager came forward to tell us to change the room, but we had to change to another room the next night. , Caused us a lot of inconvenience, I feel this hotel is not very friendly to the Chinese, and this hotel does not even have a sewing kit

Comfortable beds, airy/sunny cleans rooms, and free breakfast make this a great homestay. The staff makes it an excellent homestay. It truly is inviting. Staying at Oral D’Angkor is like never leaving home. The hospitality and humility is unmatched. Special thanks to Poa and Witchan for taking care us. Poa at the front desk was there for us continuously and is very friendly. Witchan is there for night staff and is also a host. One night we had to reheat food, Witchan stopped his eating and retired our food faster than Gordon Ramsey. The service truly is unmatched. Great stay all around.

In fact, the overall is pretty good, the rooms are quite large, the cleaning is very clean, there are swimming pools, there are quite large restaurants, but there is no five-star feel in the details, it can only be considered three or four stars. It may be because the disposable toiletries are a bit cheap, and it is strenuous to squeeze out toothpaste. There is no conditioner, and a small plastic tube for shampoo is difficult to use. I went to Bar Street and bought it myself. Slippers also look cheap, the thinnest ones. Pros: Free one and a half hour free essential oil massage, great. There is a free shuttle. Disadvantages: The air conditioner is loud and I wear earplugs at night. It's quite far from Bar Street, and it costs US $ 3 each way to make a sudden one trip, US $ 6 for a round trip, and it is a waste of time. Nothing around. Ordering at the hotel is expensive, almost $ 7 to $ 8 per dish. It ’s hard to eat, it ’s hard to eat for a long time. Only rice noodles are fine.

The location of the hotel is in the immediate vicinity of Bar street. I stayed at the new year. Because of this, I heard a loud loud noise of celebration until morning. If you want to sleep, I would recommend a hotel not close to Bar Street. However, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants are nearby. The staff is a hard worker. The room is compact. Air conditioning is enough. Shower can always use hot water. There is a TV and a refrigerator.

Because of COVID19 we had to plan a last minute wedding of 10 people. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice of the Sampeah Retreat Villa. It was so beautiful and accommodating for our special day. You truly feel that you are in a tropical retreat with the perfect mix of modern and traditional Cambodian style. The pictures on booking.com are good but it’s even better in person. The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were great. Extremely clean! The owners are so kind and helpful. Perfect for families vacationing or other large groups. Or just renting half of the villa is a great option too.

We stayed for four nights in a first floor luxury balcony room. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had plenty of space to relax in. The hotel itself is down a dirt track in the middle of nowhere, however this does make it very peaceful, there are local and touristy restaurants a short walk away, and it only took fifteen minutes to walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. The staff were very friendly, and the owners - who speak good English - are only a phone call away if there is an issue. Our only quibble was that my Asian husband tired of eggs and bread for breakfast every day, but once they let him switch to noodles everything was perfect!

During the Dragon Boat Festival, my mom went to Cambodia to travel. The hotel I stayed in for the whole time was selected for a long time. I saw a lot of net red hotels, but to tell the truth, I really like the location and the feeling of the room. I still like the Golden Temple. Another kind of swimming pool to take pictures, I see a lot of hotels in the Golden Temple, but also do not know which one to choose, and then emailed the hotel. I quickly responded. The price of hotels in Cambodia is very high. This price is slightly higher in Cambodia. There are many hotels in the city that are relatively old and have poor service. There are not many rooms in the Golden Temple, but each one is still very delicate. After booking, Because there is no twin room, I traveled with my mother, the hotel also helped us to add a small bed. Advance mail to communicate with the hotel to pick up the plane, landing at the airport to see a beautiful young lady, holding the name of our name, opened a Lexus to pick us up, also sent ice water and towels, do not need to go to the hotel Going to handle, the hotel lady introduced a variety of things in detail, but the explanation is indeed a bit long, but the explanation is very patient, and we also sent us local things like scorpions and fruits. The breakfast at the hotel was slightly less variety, but everything was very delicate, and I was given a spa once. We had another spa at our own expense on the third day. It was more professional than Vietnam and Thailand. The hotel seemed to be 7 at night. At 8 o'clock, there is a fairy dance with local characteristics. I liked the hotel's shower, but there was no bathtub here. The hotel also sent a voucher for a small snack and sent a lot of bread and pastries. Most worth mentioning is that our last night's flight, back to the hotel at 4 or 5 pm, the hotel also gave us a room to let us take a shower, really very close. I have had dinner at the hotel. To be honest, it is cheaper than those that are strongly recommended outside. If you want to take your mom out to taste the local characteristics (more expensive), we basically have dinner at the hotel every day. It seems that there is still a 15% discount, which is very good.

This hotel is very close to the old market and Pub Street, and the location is perfect. Free Rolls-Royce, BMW pickup. I can only say that this hotel is very precise in terms of the quality of facilities and equipment, the style of the hotel's room design, the quality of the items, the attitude of the service, the sense of proportion, and the degree of detail. Impeccable even a pencil ✏️! Any employee has a well-trained behavior, a well-trained service consciousness and a well-trained mind, and as a guest feels very respected, understood and concerned. My own position is that a young lady from China lives in a hotel run by a French gentleman and his Cambodian wife. Impeccable service is developed by impeccable management. Of course, the sincerity and professionalism of employees is because their respect for their work is based on the goodness of their hearts. Anyone who pursues quality and elegant life will choose this place, and continue to maintain this simplicity, love, kindness and confidence, and I will return .

First, when I checked in, I told me that there was no room in the hotel and that I had to arrange for another hotel. I think the rating and room rate of another hotel are worse than this one, so I refused and asked Ctrip's customer service to communicate. Miss Ctrip's customer service helped me to solve the problem very quickly and powerfully, thank her as if she called one by one. Finally stayed in this hotel. Second, in fact, the design of the upstairs aisle, stairs, balcony, and windows of this hotel are all pretty. It should be an old house remodeled with a retro atmosphere. But the design in the room is very unreasonable, at least the one I live in is unreasonable. For example, there is no place to charge at the bedside and the end of the bed, the bathrooms and toilets are not closed, there is a lot of psychological pressure when using the toilet, and the washbasin is outside. It is less than one meter away from the bed, the balcony door has a large gap, and mosquitoes can enter even when it is not opened. When showering, the water suddenly becomes cold and hot, and it gets hot and iced. Third, the staff, both front desk and restaurant waiter, have a good attitude. Breakfast or dinner tastes good, the price is lower than outside, and the price is high.

Very good value for money. I booked a night and then decided to stay a bit longer. My single room had aircon a fridge and a decent hot shower. There's also a fan and a desk. Wifi was solid. Staff were friendly. I had a good nights sleep. Only 2 minor points, my loo didn't have any toilet roll and my fridge wasn't working. I mentioned the fridge the following day (as I hadn't noticed straight away). I was moved to a new room with a working fridge and there was toilet roll, so I was happy. There's a balcony on each floor with a table (for smokers?). On the ground floor is reception and also an Indian/Pakistani restaurant. You can also buy beer from the restaurant. There's an ATM next to the Hard Rock café 5 minutes walk away. There's also 2 mini marts shops close by.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Cambodia for a few days to see Angkor Wat. My friend had met Abi a few years back and highly recommended him! We connected prior to our trip and made arrangements for him to pick us up (in his very clean and comfortable car) early morning and take us to Angkor Wat and several other locations. Abi was an awesome tour guide, spoke great English (not to mention that he speaks about 5 others) and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about history, culture, and politics. He's also a great photographer and took some amazing pictures of us. We ended up spending two days with Abi as he showed us all that Ankor Wat and the surrounding areas had to offer, and was it a lot! We saw temples, waterfalls, floating villages, and a stunning sunrise and sunset. Most importantly, Abi made us feel at ease in a country where we didn't know the language. He was there to help us navigate a bad hotel situation and move hotels, he helped us with a lost phone, and offered to take us to the airport. He truly went above and beyond and really MADE our trip! I cannot recommend him highly enough! He is incredibly hard working and has build a great tour company and hostel!

My wife and I visited this hotel in October. It was our first trip to Cambodia and were a bit unsure of what our experience would be like. From the moment we arrived in country, we were picked up at the airport on a provided hotel shuttle. The process was seamless, with no issues - very much appreciated after such a long travel day. Upon arrival at the hotel we were immediately greeted by the most friendly faces, welcoming us to the hotel, providing us some cold towels to wipe down and quickly getting us checked in and settled in our room. Our initial impressions from the hospitality were positive, but the experience only got better once we entered our room. We were staying in a palace suite, king bed, on the 2nd floor with a very large patio overlooking the pool and entire property. The room was spacious, very comfortable and beautifully designed. The air conditioner was cold, mini fridge stocked, are large soaker tub and a separate shower that included a rain shower head, with great pressure and temperature control - important benefit for us since we like different water temperature. After getting cleaned up we had a well made, cold cocktail in the hotel restaurant - a beautiful glass enclosed room that provides a view of the pool on one side and a view of street activity on the other - tuk tuk's, motor bikes, and mix of locals and tourists walking the street. We decided to go to pub street for dinner and then walk around the night market, which were both only about 5 minute walks from the hotel. The next morning we got up early and had Cambodian noodle soup at the hotel (delicious) before taking a tuk tuk to Angkhor Wat for a bucket list experience, no more than 15 minutes away. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is modern, beautiful and rooms well designed. With the friendly hospitality, the quality of service, modern amenities, food and location, we could not have been more comfortable. We have already talked about returning in the future and will definitely stay at Siem Reap Palace Residence again. Strongly recommend.

All aspects are super satisfied, the price is very high, the hotel is very Southeast Asian style inside and outside, the rooms are very clean, the view from the big balcony with pool views is great, the breakfast is very rich, the front desk service is particularly enthusiastic and helpful, helping to guide and store luggage Very quiet, not as noisy as the old market, not far from the bar area, and easy to go to Angkor Scenic Area, this hotel is right. The only small problem is that the solid wood bed in the room is too wide, and it is easy to touch the legs when walking by the bed at night, everyone should pay attention.

I made a booking here through hotels(dot)com for 4 nights. The reservation was ore-paid in full and confirmed a double room with a large bed with garden views. The booking included airport transfer. On arrival at the airport there was no transfer waiting for me. No big drama, I took a taxi to the hotel. Things got worse though, much worse. On check-in I was told the hotel no longer deals with hotel.com because they haven’t been paid. I was told I could only stay the one night as they have no vacancy for me thereafter. I was taken to my room. Instead of a double room with a large bed, it was a twin room with 2 single beds. Again, no huge drama as I was on my own for the first night. However, when I pulled back the curtains, instead of a garden view I was staring at a sheet of corrugated steel. The toiled didn’t flush, the phone on the bedside table was not connected. The electrical connection to the hot water system was open and exposed and located directly above the shower head. It looked like if you accidentally sprayed water on it one would be at risk of being electrocuted. Water and electricity = Not a good combination! I checked the hotels(dot)com app on my phone in an attempt to contact the company to get some assistance. Via the customer service menu option on the app I’m supposed to be able to call them. The number displayed in the app is a 1800 number with a +61 in front. I tapped the button in an attempt to connect with them but received an error message instead. I had no alternative but to find an other hotel for the remaining nights. Thank you so much hotels(dot)com and Galaxy Boutique Hotel, Siem Reap. What an absolutely fantastic beginning to a supposed relaxing holiday. I will be following you up on my return back home.

The environment, health did not say, just the room that was shown to us when we went to have a welcome fruit, the room after the check-in was not, not very happy. But the waiter's service is very good, very thoughtful, the hotel car rental is also very cheap, 35 days, the car is also prepared with umbrellas and ice water. Opposite the hotel is the Cambodian Folk Village, which costs $15 per person. Can go and find out

Mid-City is located about a 7 minute walk from Pub Street, with a grocery store directly across the road and lots of small eateries nearby. The room itself was larger than most rooms you find in Asia. It was an older room with lots of issues (sink was plugged, bath drain got stuck, door is just a regular bedroom door - not very secure), but it was clean and comfortable with good wifi and hot water. It was also quiet, and had a small balcony. There is a pool and the room includes breakfast (I didn't use either so cannot comment) but no views. The staff were amazing! All requests were addressed immediately, whether relating to a problem with the room or some other request. I booked this room for 3 nights, but then extended my stay here for longer. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Siem Reap, as well as recommend it to others Two things to note: the staff do not clean your room unless you hang out the sign asking them to, so remember to put it out if you need new towels (or if you forget you can just ask them and they will give you some); and the door has to be manually locked when you leave the room. Be sure to test the door to make sure it is closed and locked before you leave!

Everything about my stay at this hotel was excellent....I was met at the airport by the hotel tuk tuk driver Mr Pi and after a 30 minute ride arrived at hotel, situated down a quiet side road off the national road 6...only a 30 minute walk in to the main town or a $2 tuk tuk ride...Nice size pool which gets the sun all day,sun beds, out side bar area, some tables outside on patio and lovely gardens with hammocks hanging from the palm trees surrounding a fish pond......Lovely large room, nicely decorated, very comfortable bed,air con, safe, fridge,TV,kettle, some chairs to sit on and a clean washroom with a smalll balcony over looking the pool area...every day there was a complimentary buffet style breakfast, recommend the fresh passion fruit juice and the freshly cooked omelettes...All the staff and management were fantastic and very helpful, from arranging trip to the Temples, hiring bicycles to cycle round Siem Reap and arranging tuk tuk back to airport...definitely stay here again....
