|1km from city centerI stayed at Hotel Igea in July 2022 and found it very difficult to find any fault. My room wasn't anything superior, just a normal room, but found it more than spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious. The curtains were very thick to ensure darkness when the sun comes up, large HD TV, mini-fridge which was very welcome in the climate and bed was comfy. The only negative sides about the hotel room was one or two areas of dust in high places which had clearly been continually missed and no bedside power sockets for charging devices. Staff were very friendly and professional, were more than happy to hold my luggage after checking out and the hotel restaurant is also an excellent standard with large, good quality portions. Very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a good value for money. If I return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again.

It was clean and every necessity was there. We were there in winter, so we didn't use either of the pools, but we did get a good meal at the attacked Indian restaurant. Thank you Enzo.

Each staff member greeted us with a smile and engaged us in helpful and delightful conversations. The breakfast is, of course, amazing. I wish that I remembered the name of the lovely woman that oversaw the breakfast. She treated us like family, even introducing her daughter to us. One evening, they prepared a meal for our family. The food was outstanding as was the service. Eating on the patio, and watching the sunset over the lake was a dream come true. As we checked out, our host presented us with a small farewell gift. I don't usually tear up, but this gesture made me feel like I was saying goodbye to family.

|0.55km from city centerMy Husband and I have recently returned from our 3rd visit to the Hotel Piroscafo in Desenzano and, once again,everything was perfect. As on previous occasions we booked directly with the hotel via their website and were given a very warm welcome by the efficient and friendly staff. We had requested the same standard room on the top floor which had a balcony overlooking a courtyard and was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and catered for different nationalities with a good choice of cereals, cheeses, ham, eggs, various cakes and delicacies each day along with a wide range of fruit. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in the shade to eat breakfast as it was extremely hot during our visit. A lovely waitress would come to our table to take our drinks order and once she knew we liked a cappuccino she would remember this and say: ”Hello, Cappuccino”. There was always hand sanitizer available both in the restaurant and around the hotel. One of the best things about staying at the Hotel Piroscafo is it's wonderful position overlooking the Old Harbour and that it is so convenient for the restaurants and cafes with the ferry boats only two minutes round the corner. It is about a 15/20 minute walk to the train station so it is possible to visit places like Brescia, Verona and Peschiera by train for just a few Euros as train fares in Italy are cheap compared to the UK. I cannot think of anything else to add that hasn't already been said except that we very much hope to return for a 4th visit one day. Thank you to everyone at the Piroscafo.

The breakfasts were the same each day, but the buffet was extensive so there was something for everyone. There are bicycles available to hire from the hotel, however, they need a careful check-over before you use them - we had to 'reject' several before we found a couple we were happy to use. The location of Rivotella is quiet, with just a few places to eat; the main area of Desenzano is about 45minute walk along the promenade. Would happily return to this hotel.

Breakfast good. Bed good. No kettle/hot drinks in room? Asked for kettle but was refused. Bar area nice but under-used. Pool small but welcome. Roof has excellent terrace with great views, seating, sun beds and jacuzzi. As mentioned by others, the matriarch is ever present. She did not acknowledge us on any occasion - not even a smile, or a ‘Buongiorno’. Shouted a lot at her staff. This was not detrimental to our stay however, as the other staff were friendly. Strangely you have to ask for the air-con to be switched on in the room? The hotel was a good 20 minute walk downhill to the lake and 25 mins back. Only 5 min walk from station. Would stay again.

|0.49km from city centerI visited this hotel as part of a tour group. It was the end of season, and much of the area was closed. The owner would not open the pool, although some days were very warm. The food was quite good and the staff were lovely. However, despite the lovely view of the lake, the hotel needs total overhaul. The carpets were a bit grubby and threadbare, especially on the stairs, and I had a leaky shower, making a puddle on the floor daily. Some other members of the group had trouble with the showers too. One of my pillows was stained, but I had a spare, so used that one instead. Altogether a bit disappointing. Despite its 4-star rating on the gate, this is definitely more like 2-star.

The hotel's interior - particularly the lobby and the restaurant - are so well designed, very modern and quirky with lots of personality. The location is great with excellent transport links (boat, bus, train) - we got the ferry across to Sirmione and Garda (both beautiful), the bus to Peschiera and the train to Verona. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with travel queries a few times - we felt very welcome at the hotel. Breakfast is great with lots of choice - we also had a cute packed breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early for the airport, which was a lovely touch! The hotel served afternoon tea for an hour in the afternoon which was a nice indulgence. The roof terrace is an added bonus and we spent a couple of hours relaxing up there. Our room was small but functional and the balcony area was a nice-to-have; the decor perhaps felt a little bland compared to the rest of the hotel (the bathroom on the other hand was lovely), but it was absolutely spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Desenzano has a huge choice of restaurants and bars, and is a great base to explore other areas around the lake. We would definitely stay there again, but probably book direct (this time we went with Tui) so we have more choice of rooms. Thank you Park Hotel team!

For 3 nights without any solution offered - Hôtel was not clean as a 4 star should be ! Check the fitness room for proof ! And finally only set of 1 person towels (although 3 weee booked) in the room . Breakfast staff GREAT ! Food pretty standard and hot food poor in quality! Scrambled eggs were socky like microwave cooked .... No questioning from the staff on our stay , how it was etc ... when leaving . Very poor experience-

The worst thing, the very uncomfortable mattress and a great warm in the room that did not make us sleep. We go to breakfast: There was a very small breakfast room, so that the seats were hit one against the other food in the average but already insufficient at 9:00 a.m., we asked for cornets that after 30 minutes did not arrive Price I believe not The strong point is the parking and location, walking you can reach the center in a moment!

Abbiamo apprezzato i materassi nuovi e comodi e la possibilità di regolare il riscaldamento autonomamente. Ottima la colazione a buffet, consiglio però di allungare leggermente l’orario della colazione, farebbe comodo. Abbiamo cenato per caso nel ristorante dell’hotel perché eravamo stanchi. E’ stata una scelta fortunata perché è davvero ottimo, abbiamo saputo dopo che è infatti segnalato dalle guide anche dalla Michelin. Torneremo sicuramente!

|0.43km from city centerWe weren’t bothered that the hotel was described as dated, having read other reviews, as often that has its own charm in Italian hotels. Unfortunately this hotel isn’t run by Italians so that’s where the charm vanishes. Run by some very rude and arrogant men it is strange and inhospitable. We definitely felt uncomfortable as two women friends. The breakfast buffet was poor with limited choice and they have a strange practice of leaving all the dirty crockery etc until the very end of the service period. So you sit surrounded by dirty plates on all the tables.

|1.14km from city centerThese ladies take great pride in their operations. I have traveled for business and pleasure many times to Novello Pallazo. This is always a highlight for my trip. They will do anything to make you feel at home. Rooms and beds are perfect. They go over and above always. I had to leave at 5am and they made me a takeaway breakfast in the morning. I didnt ask she offered at check out the night before. The breakfast buffet is a top mention for my enjoyment here. They also started an honor bar that I truly appreciate after a long day. The new outdoor seating and gardens are very nice. My wife could not make this trip but was very jealous! I will be back shortly. Best John

We enjoyed our stay, from the breakfast, which was very varied to the wellness center, which could therefore be open longer than 19:00. The only thing we were disappointed about was our room, namely the bathroom. I understand that it is a historic building, but even the bathroom in a 3* really looks better. And one more detail, when you check out, you don't do it at the reception as is customary, but they take you to the ”office” where they are very nice, but you look at the work ”mess” and strewn files.

Beautiful, elegant hotel, impeccably clean beautiful room (Quadruple, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids), breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and finally a REAL cappuccino for breakfast, none of that UHT horrible milk!! The Spa was just perfect!! I only gave 4/5 because unfortunately we didn't get to eat in the restaurant but I am sure the food is wonderful! The staff were very helpful and friendly! Only 30mins from Bergamo airport but yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with such peaceful surroundings!! Well worth it, we will be back!!

|1.82km from city centerMy wife and I have just enjoyed an amzing week at this lovely hotel. Set right by Lake Garda with gorgeous uninterrupted views from almost every room the location is perfect. A few minutes walk into the centre of Salo along a purpose built lakeside path and you are at the ferry station. The town has all the amenities you could hope for on a holiday with lots of shops, cafe’s and comfortable spots to sit and watch the world go by. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Salo Du Parc for a week to include breakfast and evening meal. Both provided an excellent array of food. Full English and loads of continental options for breakfast and a 4 course menu every night for evening dinner. I have to say I’ve stayed at many hotels with these options but the food here is top class. No repeats on the dinner, everything beautifully cooked and presented and delivered by a fantastic crew who work tirelessly to look after their guests. Our room (410) at the furthest corner was kept spotlessly clean with fresh towels daily.

The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast ample. My only suggestion would be to include a few variations on the egg options ! Orietta and her team are simply lovely. They are kind and warm and extremely happy to give suggestions as to where to go and do. Every single one of them was spot on. One everlasting memory would be cycling in the nearby nature reserve, getting lost and then finding our way to Lago Moro. You can rent e-bikes from the hotel itself. Such a treat!!

We were pleasantly impressed by the courtesy and gentleness of the boy to the reception that was available, friendly and sympathetic. The room was very beautiful, clean and with so many hearts on the walls that made you feel welcome and comfortable. Good breakfast and with so many products available. Excellent location as you are both near the center and free or equipped beaches. At the latest floor there is a terrace from which you can see the lake where you can take the sun on the bedrooms or chairs.

The staff is kind and careful, we arrived before check-in and we were allowed to access the pool, which is beautiful because you have a great view of something from here, because the hotel is on a small hill. the comfortable room The hotel was very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the panorama. The bathroom was provided with sets of courtesy in rechargeable bottles, very green! At night we had dinner in the hotel, the cuttings were excellent! Breakfast is very rich, which can enjoy on the terrace. When I read other reviews I was worried about the runers, in fact it felt the noise of the winds of the bathroom next door, but in the night it was quiet and I sleeped well. overall it was a very pleasant experience

|1.35km from city centerBeen here before, however same shortcomings every time. Rooms accumulate a lot of dust every day even if ventilation is shut down. Breakfast OK. Diner has only a few selection options, but very worthwhile. Communication with staff is everytime problematic allthough very nice people. Maybe the Italian way. Good free parking. The location is very strategic even if at first impression you think it is not. Plenty gas stations around the corner. The shopping mall own the road freccia Rossa this year was almost dead. Eat at hotel restaurant and don't try find better outside, waste of time. Especially the Elnos shopping center. Probably I return here every time.
