Staff was polite and helpful and was available on instant call. It was situated in a good locality and was safe. Room had all the important necessities such extra table chair, hot kettle, geyser, etc. Altogether it was a nice trip. Just didn't not ordered any food, so don't know about food service and quality rest was easily done.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. The reception is at first floor and ideally we need to take the elevator or the stairs up although there is a ramp from the road level to the first floor since the ramp is too steep. The staff at the reception are quite good. The restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisine and fairly authentic too. The staff in the restaurant are top class. The breakfast buffet is a decent one but not much to 'write home about it'. The rooms are well appointed. The use of water taps in the bath room need a little bit of care to optimize the temperature of the bath water.

|6.41km from city centerMy family and I visited the property to view the banquet hall we have already booked for my engagement on 18th November (booking done under the name of Kailash Chandra Jain) and our interaction with the front desk staff, Samad and Akshat, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Firstly, upon requesting to see the swimming pool area (wanted to see regarding haldi function), we were rudely and abrasively denied access with the false claim that the area was closed. After insisting, a guard reluctantly showed us the pool area, which was “open”. When I confronted Samad and Akshat about this, they curtly and rudely stated that the pool area closes at 8 PM and that property showcases are not allowed after this time. This information was conveyed in an very unprofessional manner. Secondly, when I requested to speak to the manager, Samad falsely claimed that he was the manager. This deceitful behaviour is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards of hospitality that one would expect from a 4-5 star property. Akshat rudely told me not to shout and it’s not his duty to make sure we see the pool area after 8. I can’t believe that someone at the front desk told me that at a 4 star property. Additionally, even in low-grade hotels, the front desk staff are more hospitable and welcoming. The level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty displayed by the staff at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow was shocking and unacceptable. After this incident, I contacted Sonam, the sales person from Hilton who facilitated our booking. She apologised for the situation but i don’t want her apology at all. I am deeply disappointed with this experience and urge you to address these issues promptly to prevent such incidents in the future.

|2.61km from city centerHOTEL NEXUS. I had originally booked a different hotel in Lucknow using my Indian mobile number. They thought I was therefore an Indian citizen, so couldn’t accept me as a a guest when I arrived as they were not authorised to take foreign tourists. The ***ager there [R.K.International] was extremely helpful and got me a discount deal at the relatively close Hotel Nexus. When I arrived here at Hotel Nexus the staff showed me three available rooms and let me choose whichever I preferred. They were all clean, large rooms with large clean toilet/shower. As I was on my way to Nepal and had come mainly to Lucknow to get a Covid PCR-test I had a problem that I took to the Hotel ***ager. Due to a 5-hour late train arrival plus the problem with my previous hotel booking, that left me no time to take a PCR-test on the day of my arrival. Nor to see anything of Lucknow before my scheduled departure. The ***ager Mr. Vaibhaj Trow solved my difficulties by phoning around, arranged a Dr. to come to the hotel in the morning to take the test, PLUS printed out an itinerary of places to see in Lucknow, PLUS allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel after checking-out so that I could see the sights unemcumbered before my night-train departure. So in SUMMARY: good, comfortable, quiet clean room PLUS EXCELLENT customer service from the very friendly and helpful staff. ________

This gesture goes a long way & gives a lasting impression on the “culture” of this hotel. Kudos to the management in this aspect. Room service is also wonderful. Surjendra has done very well in tidying up the rooms and going the extra mile of arranging our stuff in a neat and tidy manner. He also asks if we need anything and takes initiative in ensuring that the smallest requests are fulfilled instantly. It’s things like these that JW Marriott excels in customer service. At the reception area, Ms Kajol is also very exceptional. She also goes the extra mile and gives a personal touch in ensuring the guests are comfortable and necessities are met. She also gives a homely feel and guests are comfortable around her. Actually the receptionist are all wonderful here in JW Marriott. At the lounge area on the 14th floor, Mr Shlok and his wonderful team are on their toes in satisfying all the guests and make us feel like home. Wonderful job Shlok! At the restaurant area, all the staff there are very friendly, smiling and give you a warm feeling that all your needs are met. Even if you give them a glance, they will come and check if everything is ok and if you need anything. Simply wonderful service. I recommend that if you come to Bengaluru, do stay here in JW Marriott (Vittal Mallya). I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

I would specially like to mention two - Vijay and Maaz. Vijay was with us at the conference room for 3 days and his smiling behaviour made our workshop a much more warm and friendly. Maaz who is the reception desk, is an extremely helpful guy who walks the extra mile to make the guest feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
