|1.66km from city centerOur family stumbled across this location/accommodation through one of the booking sites, and we couldn’t be happier that we did! We had a 2 Bedroom Ocean View Apartment for three nights (10th - 13th July 2020), up on the 18th floor, and the apartment and all it had to offer, including the stunning views, did not disappoint! 😊 We arrived late on the Friday evening and the after-hours check-in service was quite quick and easy, which was handy when having a toddler waiting in the car. The lovely couple that run and look after the complex were delightful to deal with when we had to sign and fill out paperwork for our stay the following day. The location is definitely a bonus, as the main surfers prescient is only 3 - 5 minutes walk away, the stunning, luscious beach is a minute or two away and there’s an awesome surf club (BMD Northcliffe Surf Club) that is only a minute or two walk away as well from the accommodation, and was a stunning and tasty location for a good hearty Sunday morning brekky! All in all, we cannot fault this apartment and it’s generous offers. We would definitely be going back again! 😊😊😊

|2.32km from city centerAn amazing place for a family holiday, value for money self-contained unit. We travelled with our newborn daughter only 3 months old. Large comfortable bed, cot on request, large open en-suite with spa. Wasn’t impressed with the spa it hasn’t properly cleaned for a long time, once switched on dirt comes out with water pressure. Fair size balcony with view. Nice heated pool with big size spa and sauna facilities. Love the laundry facilities and kitchen with amenities, it's shame that the stove does not come with a cooker hood. Secure access, the lift needs a pass to the open and spacious car park with plenty of car spaces. The only major concern is housekeeping only provided for stay over a week, we had to sleep on the same linen for a week as we stake exactly seven days, housekeeping policy needs to be adjusted. Highly recommended for families with children.

|0.41km from city center1. The apartment is very large, the master bedroom faces the sea, with a big bed. The second bedroom is actually a study room, so there is no window. There is a bathroom separated from the master bedroom, and both sides can enter.
2. Sanitation is ok, the kitchenware is clean, the washing machine is still new, the dryer is a bit old but clean
3. Free parking. It is better to leave a comment when booking. When you arrive, stop at the door or on the side of the road. When you go in and check in, you will be given a sensor
4. Walk straight to the pacific fair and cross the bridge for 15 minutes. The restaurant will open in the evening and the store will close at about 5:30. There are Mobike bikes available for rent.
5. Going in the opposite direction to the pacific fair is the beach. There are not many people and there are lifeguards during working hours. If you go north there is a larger children’s play area. Is the location similar to Oasis?
6. Before leaving, remember to throw away all the trash. Recycle the trash can in the garage. Put all dirty tableware in the dishwasher. If it is too dirty, it seems that the hotel will charge a cleaning fee of $75 starting

The pool area was fantastic and the vibe from the outside overall presented well, produced a good holiday house vibe, inside the apartment is spacious however quite a few letdowns that I picked on during the stay, little things do matter * Furnitures are old and bring down the whole experience of the stay in a so-called 4 star accommodation * No air-conditioning in. Bedrooms, we were lucky this year it wasn't too hot during Christmas, so could live with it. * Pedestrian entrance needs to be improved, I hit my head on the wall light which is fixed too low while trying to dodge the plant grown over the path. * Unpleasant Registration Form, basically ”orders” you to do certain things otherwise threat you with a charge, straight away first impression gone first day when I saw this, see attached photo

It was very clean and perfect for what we needed, with a TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, fresh linen and towels, although the bed was quite uncomfortable. The room itself was a bit dark and dated but we can see the rooms are undergoing an upgrade so I’m sure this one will be done in time. The BBQ was great and always clean, the pool was brilliant and location to everything (including Coles 200m down the road) is perfect! The staff are all friendly and accommodating, and their little dog is gorgeous. If you are looking for awesome coffee we found a tiny caravan across the road at the Miami Caravan Park behind the surf club - amazing brew and lovely ladies!

|1.27km from city centerWe stayed in the 3 level penthouse so the views were spectacular. The place was very modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The pool was well kept and very refreshing. The penthouse was huge, spanning 3 floors with large spaces but the living area was sorely lacking in furniture. Although we were only 2 people, with 3 guests for one night, the penthouse can sleep 6 to 8 people, however the ground floor where the kitchen and living area is situated, there is only a 3 seater couch with no coffee table. There is also no dining room table. The patio furniture on this floor is also sub standard. There is nowhere to entertain on this level. If you want to entertain you are expected to trek up 2 floors to the roof which includes a dining room table, loungers, spa and BBQ. Unfortunately there is no kitchen on the 3rd floor which you would expect to accompany the BBQ area of a penthouse, especially as it is a long walk with many stairs from the kitchen on the lower floor. Overall it is a great apartment and if it had more furniture I would have provided an 'Excellent' review.

The coral sea is very beautiful, but there are often strong waves. For surfists, this is exactly what you need, and just amateurs to get drunk in sea water is not always comfortable. |1.87km from city centerThis place has an amazing ocean feint location, right next to the beach with ocean views from north to south and some views of the city and hinterland. We stayed in apartment 40 on level 15 and the views were amazing. Unfortunately the apartment facilities were very average. The wifi, despite resetting it countless times simply did not work. Frustrating for us as we had a baby monitor camera that we were trying to connect to it. The air con is old and incredibly noisy, with very basic controls and no ability to set the air to specific temperatures or to turn down the airflow. The showers were terrible and flushed cold water through the head at the same time as the hot. I’ve never experienced this before. It was just a constant flow of hot and cold at the same time. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the TV’s and every channel the reception was blurry and pixelated. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable and the pillows were like so thin I could feel my head completely on the mattress despite there being a pillow between them. Disregarding these, the views and location were worth it and we genuinely had a lovely stay. Just a few things to fix up to make this place better

The mothers are super satisfied, the super-awesome apartment, the environment is good, the parking is available, there is a Chinese speaking staff, the person is super nice, and the room is also given to the high-rise, and the super-good scenery can be seen. The price is also very suitable one month in advance, and it is really good to have more than two hundred people per day to live in such a good apartment. 10 minutes walk from Surfers Paradise, half an hour drive from various attractions, 10 minutes drive from a large supermarket (to the Golden Beach must drive, or taxi bus has to wait a long time. Overall very satisfied.

However for price during school holidays you get what you pay for and we did just want a few nights away cheaply. But sure there would be better around. The beds are as hard as rocks. The cleanliness could be improved and there was a dusty smell on entry. The furniture is falling apart. Springs are loose in the couch and foam is coming out of fabric chairs in bedrooms. Could be so easily improved. They advertise heated pool but it is freezing. The games room is a mess. The office is a mess. What this place could be!! Sorry I would not recommend and this would not be a place I would return to. I love some of the older style buildings but this is not one of them.

Big living room (2 sofa, dining table, magazine table, TV, conferror) with kitchen (chef, refrigerator, teapot, microwave, food and cooking dishes) its balcony with table and chairs, bedroom double bed + cabinet, bath small, There is a room with washing machine + dust, tug, layout dryer. There is a swimming pool and barbecue area at the hotel. Parking. Respeshchen is closed as everywhere in 16-17 hours, but the entrance to the hotel by electronic key. Very enjoyed!

There was no aircon in our room but was told that due to height and location of the room we would have a beautiful cool breeze and it was - it was so cool. Location was everything we wanted close enough to the cavill avenue and right across the road from the beach. Décor is dated but it did not negatively impact our stay. Pools were great. Staff were great. Thank you.

|0.93km from city centerBooked at Tiki appartments for a family holiday and proposal. We booked the one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed as we had 4 of us staying. Apon arrival we expected a fresh and clean room with two beds set up for the 4 of us. Unfortunately it was NOT. We found that the sofa bed was still set up as a couch and no bedding to be found. We also noticed how dirty the room was from hand prints and splatter marks on all the mirrors to mold and dirt on on the floors, walls and bath. Also dead moths lying around on window seals. (Photos attached) After our 2nd night staying, we hadn’t received a room clean. We asked at reception and was told that they only service the rooms if we request it. We requested a clean for the next day but apon arrival the next evening found the room as we had left it. After another attempt of requesting a room sevice the next day we got one. From the 3rd - 6th day of staying 2 of us got quite sick and unfortunately put it down to how unhygienic the rooms were. - Hair dryer was faulty and didn’t work. - Fans only worked on the highest settings. - TV’s didn’t work. ( fixed after someone looked at it.) - Brocken switches everywhere. - Everything was dirty and sticky. -Views gorgeous. - Location perfect. -Pool & Spa perfect. This hotel needs a priority overhaul with maintenance and housekeeping to lift there game. If it wasn’t for the amazing night receptionist Sharna that did everything in her power to make our stay the best possible we would have gone elsewhere. Higher management please fix theses problems, all the reviews are the same over and over again.

|0.33km from city centerAfter booking a room for 1 night initially, we made a booking for an additional night both via Expedia. The recent reviews on here had me worried as they were much more positive when I made and paid for the booking. Parking - currently free but the hotel provide no detailed instructions on booking etc so I can see why people get frustrated. Thankfully a review on here gave us some tips to make our arrival smooth. I would recommend parking in tower 1 on levels 3, 3M or 4. These floors provide direct lift access to the hotel. Look for gold lifts - these indicate your attached to the hotel. Check in - the girl checking us on (Sara I think) was nice but the hotels booking system didn’t link that there were 2 separate bookings for the same person. The hotel didn’t offer us the lower standard room for the 2 nights so that we didn’t have to move. We opted to pay an additional $60 to stay in the better room for the 2 nights. Pool - is as nice as the photos although some of the cabana cushions are filthy. It is mildly heated and there were no towels, only the ones provided in your room. After house keeping we had 2 taken and only 1 replaced which made it hard to use the pool again. Food - we used Uber eats one night and ate at Harvest Buffet in the ****** on the other. The Harvest Buffet was good. We didn’t eat breakfasts at the hotel. Room - the lounge needs to go, there is no room for it and an additional luggage rack would be more practical as storage is lacking. The room would benefit from a spare pillow and blanket like nearly every other hotel we have stayed in. There are no robes or slippers provided. Gym - the gym was ok however the cable machine was broken, there were no kettlebells or spin bike. Access is via the ****** and in to another lift. Check out - we didn’t bother returning to reception, at 8am we were woken by a drill in the adjoining room/wall to us. Very unpleasant when you have an 11am check out. If we were told about the short maintenance work we wouldn’t have minded but we expect more of a hotel that is part of the Star. Would we stay again? No, it’s not the level we have come to expect as guests of the Star in Sydney.

Room was spacious, clean and decor / furniture / beds all seemed to very new. Apartment block is about 10mim walk from Cavill Avenue and right beside beach so location was excellent. Also has pools, tennis courts, mini golf, gym, sauna and BBQ facilities so a good base to unwind after a day exploring. Would definitely stay again.

The apartments are always clean and welcoming and have all the amenities you need in a self-serviced holiday rental. It's close to the heart of surfers and all the area has to offer. Theme parks are only a 30 min car ride away. Going again in Jan 24 so looking forward to it :)

I loved the hotel and the pools and the walking distance to everything. Tram, food, beach all within 2 minutes walk. If I could live here... I would. So sad to leave. All rooms were beautifully clean,may not have been the most up to date furniture but cleanliness and location is more important to us. Heated indoor pool was also well maintained. |0.49km from city centerWonderful bouji hotel with wonderful staff, but a bit tired with a lot of repairs needed. Breakfast was incredible and poolside lunch great value. Room was tired but beds comfy and great view. Indoor pool and sauna advertised has been closed for two years! And the outdoor pool is unheated due to a faulty pool heater again no plan to fix , it is easy to see why Versace is terminating the contract and removing branding .
The outdoor pool with sand beach is a nice touch for families with kids
Top tip visit the peters fish bar next door for a fab fresh fish and chip dinner , Shopping centre beside is also nice,
