In season, the on-site pool complex has shaded cabanas, a lazy river, and a waterslide, plus a volleyball court. The fitness center in the clubhouse is available year-round. The nearest beach access is a 10-minute bike ride or a two-minute drive from the house.The spaceThe first level of living space (located on the second level of the home) offers two bedrooms each with an ensuite attached full bathroom. The master has a queen bed and balcony overlooking the courtyard and the second bedroom has a twin daybed with pullout trundle. The third level features the main living areas with an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a half bath and front and backside balconies.Guest accessYou can access all areas of the townhome except for the locked owner's closets.Other things to note:Our unit does not have an assigned parking space. We are afforded a "Stop Light" intersection on 1st - during the busier times of the year this is a huge positive in the OBX because those access points have a stop light with a crosswalk to cross N Croatan which can be busy during peak times. Kitty Hawk Bay is due Northwest from our Cabin. We highly recommend you head down that way to the Bay Ave Walking/Biking trail for sunsets at night, but also at anytime during the day because the Bay Drive trail runs along the bay for several miles in each direction. You can use this for walking, running, biking. It also leads to the Avalon Beach Kitty Hawk Bay Boat Launch where you can launch boats, jetskis, canoes, kayaks, etc. Additionally, if you take the trail South, you can actually walk or ride bikes to the Wright Brother's Memorial from the back way along 1st Street.The garage has a secondary fridge for guest use. It is also equipped with at least 6 bikes - sometimes up to 10 for guest use. Also in the garage are some lawn games including corn hole and bocce.STRICT NO SMOKING & NO PET POLICY - If you are found to be smoking within the home or bring a pet, there will be $500 fine.This is a family home - we use it to vacation and visit family in the OBX. Please kindly treat it like it is your own, with respect. Perfect for families traveling or working remotely with their dog! With just two steps into the house, this one-level, 1400 sq ft house is ideal for easy in and out. Surrounded by beautiful live oak trees, on a quiet cul de sac, our home is private and relaxing.More details:We created Tucker’s Treehouse and now Tucker's Sea Ranch because we were disappointed in the options available when traveling with our dog. Either the homes were bare of furniture or dirty with dog hair. You will not find that here at Tucker’s Sea Ranch. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, and providing a great vacation home that has what you need and some extras too!The house is a ranch style (all one level) with a front porch and back deck and is in a quiet beautiful residential neighborhood halfway between the Sound (west side), and the beach. There is a beach access with parking on 1st Street, which is the street our house is one turn off of. About a 5 minute walk to the beach or 1 minute by bike. The house is perfect for families or couples traveling with their dog looking for a place to relax, close to restaurants and shopping.Just a few steps on to the front porch and you'll enter through a door with a keypad lock for easy access (no key to lose). Once inside you’ll enter into an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room in front of you. All of the furniture is leather and the kitchen is very well appointed with All Clad cookware and almost anything you would need to cook and serve for six guests. The living room has a smart TV (no cable) and beneath it, an electric fireplace. We provide WiFi, at the fastest speed available in the outer banks. There are three bedrooms, with a king bed in the master, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a full bed with pull out twin trundle in the 3rd bedroom. The third bedroom as a 55" desk with two monitors provided. The beds have high-quality percale cotton sheets as well as quilts. There are extra blankets and pillows in each closet. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The hallway bathroom has a full tub/shower and the master bathroom is ensuite with a stall type shower. The towels are high-quality cotton, and there are six bath and six washcloths provided. We also provide beach towels for each guest. For pup, there are large, elevated food bowls, dog towels, treats (of course!) and a large crate with crate pad. The yard is fully fenced with a 6 foot fence and the back door has a XL dog door. We allow one well behaved dog but will consider a second with extra cleaning fee of $50.For little ones, we have a pack and play at the house or a full crib available upon request. The large outdoor shed has a ping-pong table, Corn-hole game set and other assorted toys/games. There is a washer and dryer for your use as well as beach chairs and a cooler. You'll get to meet some of the great surfing legends there no doubt! Our neighborhood is quiet and nice. Perfect for taking a walk and enjoying the sunset. There is a Publix directly at the end of our street for groceries as well as putt-putt for some amazing family fun! Whether you’re coming for fishing, both off-shore and inlet, surfing, sight-seeing, wedding, business, or just a relaxing vacation, our home is in the middle of it all!To get to the beach, simply drive east on First Street, follow to light, cross over and continue driving straight to the Beach Access. Presto! In a matter of minutes, warm sand and salty ocean air will pull you in!To get to the northern beaches, Corolla and Corova, you take the bypass North through Duck and keep heading North! Wild horses are located in Corova, and you WILL need a 4 Wheel drive to see them. MAKE SURE YOU AIR DOWNTo get to the Southern Beaches, simply turn the other way, south on the bypass and keep heading south! Then if you’re really adventurous, take the ferry ride to Ocracoke, which is a whole other world and WELL worth the day trip!! They have two hotels and booked two quadruple rooms. As a result, they failed to arrange the isolation room. The rooms were on the first and second floors. The electronic lock on the first floor was broken. It took a lot of time to go back and forth and finally helped us arrange a room change. If the room is changed in another building, it will be in another building. The room is clean and the bathroom is very large and clean Good front desk, rich breakfast, many choices

My visit was average. Front desk person (AA male evening shift) was very pleasant. My room was okay however my sister's room was unpleasantly odorous with an unexpected portable humidifier in the room. We enjoyed our breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the waitress was very nice. The wedding food was just okay. The hotel needs to definitely upgrade overall.
