I am a Best Western Rewards member and only stay at Best Westerns and when I was in Austin on a job and found I would have to stay over night, I chose this particular Best Western cause it was just 8 miles from where I needed to be instead of staying at the Best Western on I35 in Round Rock where I normally stay, a quick glance on Trip Advisor with good reviews I booked the room online. Don't get me wrong the Hotel is Super Clean, the Staff is is very friendly, the bed is comfy, the internet is fast but my Average rating for this stay is based on the Breakfast portion of our stay. It was beyond bland and offered nothing but a very busy waffle maker, that we did not have time to stick around to use. We stay at Best Westerns based on the awesome Breakfasts they are famous for but this one did not make the grade in my book. But if that is not priority for you this Hotel is a great place to lay your head for the night. Quiet, Clean and Comfy and a pretty good rate for the Austin area. Lots of Food and Shopping in walking distance of the Hotel is a Big Plus

When I got there they had 4 of my five rooms. I booked through booking.com and I had my screenshot of the confirmation. They stayed with me attempting to figure out how bookings has 5 and they have 4. They found that one daughter was booked u see her name and not mine. The astute manager saw me writing out our names and searched them all individually. That could have gone very differently. So grateful for their time and attention. We were evacuating from hurricane and after it passed we decided to leave one day early. Again, booking.com has to be notified. They handled this for me. Allowed us all to have one day refunded. The managers at desk were soo halpful with every need. The breakfast has to be limited to handing out food but they have an free breakfast each morning of bfast tacos! Strict protocols are followed for all covid restrictions. We were kindly reminded or handed a mask if we forgot. Just a great experience! And all our pets were happy too seeing all the pet friends around.

We checked into the hotel on 3/29/19. The manager, Randee was kind enough to check us in early. However, in the middle of the night one of the hotel employees tried to enter our room using a hotel room key. We thankfully had the lock on the door so the door would not open all the way. We were told the next morning that the room number was not entered into the system when we were checked in so they thought the room was empty (or that we were a no show). I left my credit card on file and I physically signed a form stating I agreed with the room rate, so this explanation does not sit well with me. Also, why would the front desk not either call the room or knock first? That man scared us half to death, and it took a good hour for us to be able to get back to sleep. It's truly a poor policy for your hotel staff to try and enter a room without calling or knocking first. I'm sorry, but this leaves me very suspicious of the intent (reason) your hotel employee was attempting to enter our room. I was not happy that the front desk was pretty lax about the situation.

Whenever I visit family in the Cedar Park area, I stay at the Holiday Inn Express. They were in the process of completing an upgrade to the lobby when I stayed this past Christmas. The rooms had been recently upgraded, as well. The bed was very comfortable and I really appreciated the new window treatment; the window was covered by shades in a track, and when lowered all the way the shades completely blocked out light from outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a great job.

Compact, clean, comfortable and convenient. Good value. We were in town for our granddaughter's graduation. The room was plenty big enough and very efficiently equipped. It had everything we needed. The bathroom was surprisingly large. Overall the room had a sleek, modern, European feel. Think IKEA. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the hallway to the rooms is narrow and a little dark making it a bit off putting. But we would definitely stay here again.

I have to admit I wasn't sure about my choice when I arrived to the "no thrills" hotel. It actually had everything I needed. You park right in front of your room which is convenient and no other noise from other people. The wifi upload speed was lightning fast which I need for my job. The bed was fantastic, the room was spotless. There if a frig, microwave, sink and stove. I literally went to sleep and woke up the next morning, never heard a sound from neighbors or cars. It had all the things that are important to me while traveling on business. I highly recommend for business travelers who are on a budget.
