Personale cortese e prezzo adeguato a quanto offerto.

|4.04km from city centerVery charming resort with a variety of services. We loved the couple massages we booked. Also, the breakfast is very good. We enjoyed the pool facilities and the whole ambience of the resort. Keep in mind that the location is a 10 minute drive from the city of Orvieto. The front desk was very helpful in organising our taxi ride. On our last visit 2 years ago, we booked a wonderful on-sight wine tasting experience. Be sure to buy a couple of olive oil bottles. The olive oil is super tasty and makes for a great gift to take back to your friends and family as a souvenir.

|0.73km from city centerIt's hard reviewing a $60/night place. I had low expectations (although some of the reviews suggested something more) at that level but was looking for inexpensive spot because I was traveling solo and wasn't going to spend anytime in the room other than to sleep. Adequate for that purpose. Clean. And friendly. Rosana went out of her way to explain the town and was quite helpful. Note that it is located in a triangle between two streets, so you can get some traffic noise although not too much traffic at night, and nothing a white noise app can't handle. I had higher hopes for breakfast but it was very basic, with the hostess serving a piece of breakfast sweet tart, a slice or two of bread, cheese and ham, softboiled egg and a small thing of yogurt. And coffee to order. I left hungry. Perhaps I should've asked for more but nothing was offered, and I didnt want to be pushy.

|0.36km from city centerWe stayed two nights at the hotel. Excellent accommodations. They parked our car. They served a wonderful breakfast. I got up early (4:30 a.m.) both mornings to do some work and was able to get a cappuccino. Very gracious hosts. As far as location is concerned, the hotel is not far some Pizza della Republica and the Corso and via del Duomo. We saw everything we wanted to in Orvieto and also saw Civita di Bagnoregio.. Easy access by car, easy exit. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

|1.09km from city centerVisiting La Badia is like stepping into a fairytale. My husband and I held our wedding at La Badia di Orvieto last month (finally, after having to postpone for the last two years due to covid). It was quite simply the most wonderful weekend we could have ever imagined. First of all, the place itself is pure magic. We had booked La Badia as our venue on the basis of photos we had seen (our fantastic wedding planner had previously held a wedding there and the photos were gorgeous). As soon as we arrived at the venue for our wedding weekend and walked around the grounds, we felt as if we were in a fairytale, walking back in time. Some of the reviews comment that the hotel isn’t modern enough- but that’s part of the magic of this place and I think if you visit this hotel you should manage your expectations in terms of modernity. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully appointed and clean. They are not overly modern though and nor would I want them to be. You feel the entire hotel is steeped in history and that is the beauty of it. I’ve never been to another hotel like it. The breakfast at La Badia is also very good - the food was all high quality and there’s a large variety of food (and even some gluten free options). The bar is also open all day and they make absolutely fantastic sandwiches - the ingredients are excellent, especially their bread. The most breathtaking part of this hotel is the Sala Capitolare where the arch is located- this is where we had our wedding dinner and it was spectacular. However, all of the grounds are stunning. The chapel on the grounds where we had our ceremony was so beautiful and serene. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect spot for our ceremony. Our guests also made good use of the swimming pool and tennis court over the course of the weekend. That weekend in May was about 30 degrees Celsius so our guests really enjoyed being able to get into the pool to cool off. Moving onto the fantastic people- they worked tirelessly during our wedding weekend to coordinate with our wedding planner to ensure that all went seamlessly. They truly cared about making sure we had a wonderful weekend, and we so appreciated their kindness and dedication. Rossella, Andreina, Tommaso, Manuel - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work, dedication and kindness. La Badia is the most magical place, and that weekend will be in our memories forever. We were pinching ourselves the whole weekend as we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to get married in such a stunning location. I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. I would 100% recommend a stay here - soak up all the beauty it has to offer. We can’t wait to return!

|0.21km from city centerMy husband and I stayed here for 1 night in between Rome and Florence, so that we could visit Orvieto, in addition to Sacro Bosco and Civita di Bagnoregio on the way. The room was fairly standard but nice for the price: clean, a large, comfortable bed, and a modern, artsy decor. Our corner room had two windows, which was nice. It was very quiet at night. The location is excellent. It's very close to the Duomo and to other points of interest in Orvieto. Mind you, the Centro Historico of Orvieto is not very big, so this is pretty much a given. The nightly rate for our double room included breakfast, and the breakfast was good. The wifi worked well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in/check out were easy. One thing I didn't like was the charge for coffee and tea in the room. We didn't have any, but we are accustomed to these beverages being provided with no additional charge.

|1.01km from city centerWhat a heavenly stay I was fortunate enough to have here! I stayed for 5 nights. I arrived by train and was collected by the hotel's driver which was pre-arranged. My room was spacious and cool and so very comfortable. I was thrilled to discover I had a solid large table at which to sit. The care and attention that emanated from everywhere is a testament to Francesca and her family. The hand made furniture and embroidered tablecloth and bed linen in my room, enhanced the homely atmosphere. Francesca's friendliness and warmth, combined with her sound detailed advice and recommendations, made my stay so relaxing and memorable. As I didn't have a car I used the mountain path behind the hotel to walk up to Orvieto. It was steep but gave fabulous views on the way and at the top. Breakfast was plentiful and homemade, served by a charming young lady whose name I forget, who was always smiling and personable. It was so lovely to be greeted by her each morning. The restaurant across the road was where I took my evening meals. I enjoyed the gorgeous gardens and the swimming pool. I would return in a heartbeat.

|0.3km from city centerThis accommodation was excellent. It was easy to find and as promised a parking space had been saved for us. Once we parked up for the weekend, the car didn't move until we left. We were met by the host Giacabo and he gave us time to go through the map, highlighting all the things to see in the town and places to eat. Breakfast was provided as a self service idea, and was plentiful. It would be an ideal location for people who maybe want to be able to prepare some food for babies etc as it has a small fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom was lovely and clean and we slept exceptionally well on the bed. Although being right beside the Duomo I was never woken by noise of the church bells or people outside. Would really recommend it.

|6.42km from city centerWe stopped for one night, back from the puil to break the trip and visit Orvieto. For example, if the two rooms we had booked were near, or if the above floor had no tight and tight scale, but this does not mean that the structure is not comfortable, it is very characteristic. We have not been able to dine, but breakfast, including price, was excellent and abundant and quality. The rooms are very clean furnished in a simple but comfortable and functional way. The price-quality ratio is among the best. Our view is a little superficial, dictate by the short time and unhappy weather, but if we return from those parts, we will certainly keep the location in mind.

|4.39km from city centerThe environment is very beautiful, you must drive there by yourself, because the farm does not provide meals, and breakfast is very simple, so you must drive out by yourself or buy it back to eat. The facilities are okay, but the soundproofing is not very good, it will noisy each other, it is clean, very cozy, the rooms are also very large, there is also a common living room and indoor viewing platform. The proprietress had prepared well, just as the temperature was cooling down, she was preparing for the newly bought blanket. Other services are nothing, breakfast is very simple, cakes, eggs, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereals, no salty. There are no other people here, and there are no other houses within about 2 kilometers around. Strictly speaking, it should not be regarded as a hotel, it is a very good homestay.
