Kobe Harbor
I just stayed overnight at work, but I was very satisfied. When I told my name at the front desk, he gave me the key immediately after measuring the temperature. The explanation of the large communal bath was completed in about 1 minute. The room was clean, and there were separate tables and chairs for work, as well as a small table for drinks and a dedicated chair. I don't feel inconvenienced. The springs in the bed are comfortable and you can sleep well. Most of the time, when you are in the bathtub at any hotel, you will notice dirt around the back of the washbasin. This was not the case. The water pressure in the shower is too strong. You can hear the sound of water pipes at midnight, but it's not enough to disturb your sleep. Anyway, it's a quiet environment, so I walk about 7 minutes from the station, but I'm glad I decided here. Next time I would like to use the restaurant.

Kobe Seishin Oriental Hotel reviews Reviews 3.8 Good 414 reviews on Google Couples 4.3 Families 4.2 Business 4.1 Solo 4.3 All reviews Most relevant Newest Highest rating Lowest rating Khaine Smith - EDIT 1/5 They call this a 4 star hotel, it's not. First off, it is far away from Kobe and shouldn't even be listed as in Kobe. It's a long train ride into Kobe and an expensive taxi ride back if you miss the last train. Next up, they list that there is a pool and gym etc. There are but you'll pay to use it all. There is nothing about that in booking and they gave some bs story about some packages have it. I didn't see one. And when I questioned them about it and to show me my reservation, they tried to hide it since it said nothing of the sort. The room itself could use some updating as well. Even stains on the carpet. For the same price of staying at the Kobe Seishin Oriental hotel, plus paying for amenities which is a lie on the booking sites, you could stay at a better place that is more in Kobe. It was my wifes birthday and I was visibly upset but did the staff offer up anything in anyway to fix the situation. They just said thank you. Thanks for being a sucked is more like it. Never stay here. Much better places can be found and I've stayed in many.

Awaji Island
We stayed three nights in late October. Check-in was perfect. Our room on the 5th floor overlooked the hotel and the sea in the distance. Good lunch in the lounge cafe. We did not care for the nightly buffet service. The breakfast was pretty good, with outdoor tables available on the terrace, weather permitting. There are other restaurants not linked to the hotel within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel lobby. A typhoon struck while we were there. No problem. We could walk all the way to the superb "Plant Museum," a huge greenhouse not far from the hotel, without being exposed to the weather. Spent the afternoon there while it rained outside. On a sunny day, we thoroughly enjoyed strolling about the Tadao And designed gardens. Location of the hotel is good for air quality and quiet. Only 7 minutes by taxi from the famous Ando-designed 'Water temple'. Excellent service, too, from all hotel staff members. Thanks! Highly recommended.

Kobe Harbor
1. LOCATION: on the beach w/Akashi Bridge. 2. WiFi: Strong. 3. HOT water & strong water PRESSURE. The location is tops: on the beach w/pounding surf and the longest suspension bridge looming in the nearby distance. Get your goodies before arriving becuz the nearest supermarket is across the RR tracks (6+ blocks).

Kobe Harbor
Located at the port of Kobe this Hotel is at a location with great view to the port. On foot easy to reach the Mosaic at the port with many restaurants and bars, but also only 15 minutes walk to Sannomiya the city center of Kobe. I also like this Hotel because the rooms are really spacious and not like typical Japanese business hotels. As part of their health club they also have a 25m standard indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot Japanese bath, outdoor pool, tennis court, etc.. The breakfast is rich and has western and Japanese food to offer. The Japanese restaurants both are excellent and provide good service, but unfortunately close quite early, so late night dinner not possible. Most of the staff speak good English. A little disadvantage is that you cannot earn points on their loyalty program when booked through an agent. All in all a very good hotel and worth the money.
