In order to facilitate the early flight of the next day, I went to the night. The hotel has a parking space, only two or three minutes from the GSO airport, and the hotel provides a shuttle service, very convenient. The hotel is relatively new and very clean!

We drove over 400 miles to see KISS in concert at the Greensboro Coliseum. After arriving Friday night, I jumped online to find a room. We chose motel 6 for its location and super price. Jackpot! This place was very very very clean and updated. The check in lady was fabulous! We stayed two nights for a smidge over 100 bucks. Big tv, comfortable queen bed, lots of towels. Did i mention clean and like new room... Highly recommend!

I stayed here for a week while going to the ACC basketball tournament last week and it was a very nice stay. The breakfast was super, better than most hotels. I loved the cinnamon waffles and wish they had them out more rather than the chocolate. The location was convenient as it wasn't in Greensboro where all of the action is, rather outside of the city where it's quieter and less traffic/people. There are lots of hotels around the area. It's also close to the airport, and right on I40. It was a quick drive to the Four Seasons area. The room itself was clean, everything worked fine. The faucet on the sink was loose but it didn't bother me or its operation. They did come in and clean each evening while I was out at the tournament. I did not visit the front desk any so I cannot comment on that. I checked in on the app the day before I arrived and picked out my room. I used the digital key to get in/out of the back door of the property next to my room, and into my room. So I never even went to the front for anything. I would imagine it's nice also. I'll definitely stay here again next year when the tournament comes back.

We stayed here for a week while our daughter was participating in a local sporting event. The hotel staff (including the Manager Brian) were the most pleasant staff we have encountered at a hotel. Always saying hello and asking if we needed assistance with anything. The brought extra towels or pillows quickly when requested. Also wished the kids good luck when they were coming/going to compete. I liked how they had staff meetings every morning which probably helps with how cheerful and friendly all the employees seemed to have been. Room was always clean and comfortable.

The plane arrived at Piedmont Airport at 9 pm. The airport was small and was already half closed. When I came out of the airport, I called the airport TAXI and went to the hotel. It was about 10 minutes away. In fact, there were several hotels in the surrounding area. The lobby of this type of budget hotel is not large. A beautiful black lady received us at the front desk. When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the layout of the room. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast is not bad, there is even a small box of milk here, use the microwave to heat it up a bit, if you are not used to coffee, drink this slightly. In short, it is very good, if the price is lower, it is better

My wife and I recently stayed here for a quick get away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We did the "Wine and Dine" package which was perfect for us. This package offered $150 food voucher to be used at several places- we used ours for afternoon tea and room service from Green Valley Grill. Free breakfast was provided in the morning. We walked around the hotel to check out the building, there was lots of history. Afternoon tea was great! The food from Green Valley Grill was amazing. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There were several COVID safety/cleaning policies to make it feel safe, so I felt like they did an excellent job with all of that. I thought everything was reasonably priced for the value we got. We will definitely return for another quick get away in the future.

I was visiting the Greensboro area with a friend of mine over a weekend in November 2020 and we had the opportunity to spend a Friday night and a Saturday night at this Hilton Garden Inn. All in all, it was very nice. The check-in process went relatively smoothly. Our room (#516) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. I appreciated that the business center was available so I could use one of the computers to catch up on my social media. We did not partake of the breakfast, and the indoor pool was closed due to the COVID pandemic. (Also, the onsite bar was closed as well... understandably so.) I don't really have much else to say other than this was a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay overall. I'm not sure when or if I'll ever be back in Greensboro, but if I do, it will hopefully be after the pandemic is over and hotels like this one will be able to have all their regular amenities available again.

Based on the price and photos, I chose to stay at this hotel while visiting family for holidays. I picked a good place. The staff were friendly, my room was nice, and the location was great. I feel like the room was very large and although I didn’t need the kitchen for my stay, I could see me using it during a future stay, along with the pool in the summer time. I do think that some updates would be nice as far as a better television..which is fine because I didn’t do much watching anyways. I would definitely stay here again based on the kindness of the staff.

The front desk clerk (assistant manager) made the entire stay bearable and worthwhile. The price of $100 was a bit steep for that particular hotel and its location. For that reason alone, I’d likely never recommend this hotel to anyone, as I can easily book a 3 star hotel for about $80.

February 24/25, 2020 at their location on Triad Center Drive , Greensboro North Carolina. 2 issues. 1, discrimination against myself with my certified service dog, then number 2 they provided no housekeeping services to me on Monday -Wednesday. Upon checking in , the clerk at the front desk told me my dog was not allowed where the free coffee Is, where you can sit down at a table and chairs and watch TV or where they provide free breakfast. I informed her and showed her that Sammy is not a pet ,!she is a licensed and registered 9 pound therapy/service dog and has been with me 10 years. she has full access and always has had full access to anywhere I go. She said no that is not true. I gave her the number to ESARA where Sammy is licensed and told her to speak to them and not me about it. She then made a note in the computer and after that was very sarcastic. Next thing I know upon waking up on Tuesday and coming back to the room Tuesday afternoon, I had no housecleaning services, no clean towels , the bed was not made .....nothing. I called down to the front desk they said they would look into it and still no service. Wednesday morning I still had no housekeeping service. I went down to the front desk where the gentleman working would not have eye contact with me . He looked in the computer and must’ve read a note and then an actual housekeeper helped me. I asked the gentleman how did that happen and he replied ““ they were too busy to service my room.” Unacceptable. He never apologized

First I want to say, I normally do not write reviews. But after my visit to Hotel Denim, I wanted to. It was my first time there. Newly redone hotel in the middle of The city. Excellent location. Easy to find and near everything! The atmosphere was sophisticated and inviting. Easy check in, beautiful room, bed to die for and towels were so thick! I am glad I chose this hotel vs a big brand. The difference was night and day. Check out this diamond of a hotel! A+++

The Biltmore Greensboro is an atmospheric, historic building. The original elevator is the oldest in Greensboro. The staff was informative, wonderfully welcoming, friendly, & helpful. Our dog visited with us, and he loved his stay. He met several new friends, and the staff were all obviously "dog people." The location was excellent! A huge city parking garage is directly across the street, and the hotel validates. Many people were out and about on the streets all evening. We walked to Crafted for cocktails and tacos. The food was outstanding! We returned to the hotel and enjoyed conversation in the lobby where we planned to watch for Lydia's ghost to visit us. As we left, my daughter was already planning our next trip. Thanks, Biltmore Greensboro!

I came into town for a work trip in March of 2020 and was put up at Double Oaks without me knowing much about it ahead of time. Not one who typically gravitates towards accommodations of this sort, I am SO glad this is where I got to spend four nights and three special mornings. Double Oaks is charming, one of a kind, and hospitable to say the least. Where there are imperfections, there is character in things like the double wood staircase, nostalgic red carpet, and heirlooms on display around the manor. Where there is what one reviewer says a lack in some breakfast accompaniments, there is the most spectacular made-to-order meals cooked with such love you could have seconds or thirds. Forget fresh fruit! Where else does the head of a B&B make you a dietary-special hash skillet with duck and microgreens? Skip a typical hotel stay and treat yourself to a delightful visit at Double Oaks. James, Cameron, Autumn, and the rest of the team will take the most wonderful care of you and leave you planning out your next stay to Greensboro with excitement!

Angela (manager) started off extremely helpful with getting some things cleared up with some hiccups we ran into before checking in. However, upon checkout it was revealed that those hiccups weren't actually taken care of. I called to try and sort it out after my stay and encountered Selma (from desk rep) who was very rude and disrespectful. I then reached back out to Angela about everything and NEVER got a response. The one person that I can say was professional and helpful over the course of that weekend was a front desk rep named Stefanie! *This was my one year anniversary stay*

We booked this hotel for the ACC Basketball Tournament. We were pleased with the upbeat and pleasant appearance, and out check-in was efficient, friendly and positive. We appreciated the hand sanitizer on the check-in desk. We were very disappointed, on our first night, to learn that the remainder of the tournament had been cancelled. The desk attendants were very, very nice. They expressed their sympathy for the change in plans, and accepted our early checkout without any problem. At breakfast, an extremely pleasant and courteous woman took pains to take orders for us and bring our food to the table, so that serving from a buffet was not necessary. The hotel was considerate of our health and our hygiene. It was an unfortunate situation, but Hilton Garden Inn did everything they possibly could to make the best of it. Thank you to all of them.

This hotel had a number of COVID-19 precautions in place, including no free breakfast as well as a closed pool. This is understandable but would make more if any of the hotel staff wore masks. It seems that the precautions that save money are employed but not those that inconvenience staff. The room could have been cleaner. For example, there was a small dark chunk of something on top of the dresser when we checked in, leading me to believe that no surfaces were clean. It was also apparent that the bathroom hadn’t been given a good cleaning in a while. It certainly hadn’t been mopped, and switches and door knobs were dirty. There appeared to be dried blood on the hair dryer cord. The hotel would otherwise be nice if kept cleaner. Staff were friendly. I’d consider staying again.

It is a motel, the door is open to the outside, there will be unknown people knocking at the door in the middle of the night, some people are wrong, some are intentional. Breakfast is very simple, yogurt, milk, cereal, juice, orange or apple, homemade muffins, coffee. Most of the surrounding environment is black friends, and I dare not stroll outside at night. The bed was comfortable and the sanitation was good. There was a microwave in the fridge. Recommended for a limited budget, breakfast does not matter, a strong inner friend

This is a lovely hotel. The decor is beautiful... a mix of lush gardens with outdoor seating as well as stunning views from the lobby sporting dual curved metal staircases which give a bit of an industrial touch. Our King room was large and comfortable, plenty of seating and room to work or unwind. The bed slept great and the bathroom was very cute. There were lots of smart and innovative places to store your belongings. Our floor had an awesome gathering area with ice machine, a refrigerator with cold drinks and hot and cold water dispenser. The seating in the area was attractive and functional. Great meeting area. Print Works Bistro was delicious! it is a beautifully decorated restaurant, very subtle, soft colors and beautiful fabrics. Our dinner was exceptional, service was amazing. Our breakfast the following morning was also top notch. We will be back!

The room was clean and the facilities were nice, however I got 3 bedbug bites which upset my wife terribly and caused me a great deal of discomfort. We left the bedbug as proof and even took pictures. When I spoke to the General Manager about it by phone, he was very courteous and cordial. The only problem was he made promises he apparently had no intention of keeping. While I did get the room free, I was promised an upgrade and generous number of points as compensation for my inconvenience. I called several times about the upgrade and points--nothing happened. Even called the corporate offices. They talked to him and he said he would "check the system." Nothing happened. I would have felt much better if he had just told me to "go jump" instead of making promises he had no intention of keeping. As a retired EVP of a large college, I can afford to pay for my own room but its the principle. This is an example of poor customer service and I am going to share that with my friends and former colleagues who frequent the Greensboro area. Honesty, especially where health concerns (bedbugs) are involved is the best policy. Since I have stayed at other Comfort Inns with no problems, I would say avoid this one because they have bedbugs and even worse, the General Manager seems to lack integrity!

This seemed to be a very new motel. Everything was extremely clean and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. The fitness room looked great, but we didn't make use of it. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Wifi worked fine. There wasn't much to complain about, but a few issues does prevent me from giving it five stars: 1. The room was at 75 degrees and too warm for us when we arrived. We set the temperature to 69, but it had only dropped to 73 by the time we went to bed at 11:30 pm. Not sure, why it took so long to cool down on a December night. The air blowing out of the vent was quite cold. Maybe everyone else had the heat on near us?? Just puzzling. 2. The bathroom was centered directly in front of the two beds. It had a sliding door made of something similar to glass, but you could not see clearly through it. However, you could see shadows moving and the door was large and in front of the sink and shower, and with me staying with my two daughters, it was a little uncomfortable. 3. Needed a little more lighting in the room, was a little dark. 4. Breakfast did not start until 7 am on weekends. When we expressed disappointment to the lady checking us in because we had a swim meet at 7 am, she stated she would have the breakfast lady make the cold food and drinks available to us at 6:30 am. She stated it wouldn't be a problem, that the lady would definitely do this, and they might possibly have some hot eggs prepared for us. Unfortunately, when we walked down to the breakfast area at 6:30 am, everything was closed up, and nothing was out. Therefore, while the desk clerk was trying to be nice, promising something that couldn't be done resulted in a unhappy family. Luckily, a Bojangles was within walking distance from the motel. Overall, a very nice hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It is a very good value for the price.

In the room, the sink drain was broken. The phone did not work. When we got into bed, the pillow case had makeup on it. I went to the front desk to report dirty pillow cases and the employee was having a personal phone conversation in the back (that I could hear). I knocked, but she did not come. Went to the front desk three times, knocked and said hello, but she never came to the front desk. I tried calling from my cell phone since the room phone did not work and I could not get an employee at the front desk, but no one answered. So, I walked to the front a fourth time (all this was between 9 - 10PM), and another employee finally helped me and provided clean pillow cases. Changing the beds was never offered. The next day I reported the broken phone, dirty sheets, broken sink, and lack of front desk coverage and they apologized, but did not do anything. We also did not have coffee for the room and had to ask for it both days of our stay. On the second day, housekeeping did not replenish the dirty towels and we had to ask for them. The sheets were never changed. The phone was never repaired or replaced. I fixed the sink. Coffee was never supplied. The only thing housekeeping did was change the trash.

During this month I've been in two N.C. Hampton's and this time Holiday Inn Express. This location is by far the best place I've stayed this month. Greeted by Teresa who was very helpful with local information and weather update (I was surprised by all the preparation for snow). Weather changed my schedule practically everyday and at every turn the staff was able to accommodate my request. The updates to the facility are first class. Breakfast is much better than Hampton (sorry Hilton). Rooms have more that enough space, Keurig system in room, nice sized bathroom and quiet. Could see interstate, couldn't hear it!!! Downtown and coliseum 15 minutes away or less.

We spent four nights in Greensboro. The first two nights, we spent it at one IHG hotel and then switched to this one for the 3rd and 4th night. We are so glad we did. It is a simple hotel but provides everything you need. It was clean and comfortable and had a staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot in the front door. There is no breakfast right now due to Covid but they offered us a brown bag with a muffin, fruit and a bottle of water. Small gestures go a long way. Your kindness makes you a cut above the rest. Kudos to everyone we encountered at the front desk during our stay. The price is very reasonable and the location is great. You have access to major highways, plenty of restaurants and stores. Thank you!
