I just came back from Hatyai last week, stay here for 1 night. Was arrived at the hotel around 10am but the hotel already allow us to check in which really great. Room corridor seems old but the room was clean. Location was superb since all within walking distance. Staff was good. No need to give passport but deposit around 1000 ~ 1500 thb is required.

I stayed at the hotel one night on 10/9/2019 to 10/10/2019 on my way to hk. I am so happy I splurged and booked a junior suite room during my overnight stay. I was told at the time the suite was just newly remodeled! About the suite: It is very spacious and well organized. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of eastern and western selections. I miss the fresh fruits! More importantly, the service at hotel is friendly and the location is second to none! It’s located in center of everything you will need! I wish I had stayed longer but I will definitely come back to stay at this fantastic hotel!

The location is really good! 3mnts walking distance to Lee garden, Mcd, Central, Starbuck, Odean etc. 3mnt walking distance to ”Singapore Bakuteh” food shop. 10 to 15mnts walking distance to Kim Yong market. In the conclusion: you can walk to everywhere. Back to the hotel itself, room is clean and provided with basic toiletries. A refrigerator and bathtub are superb. Baby enjoys ”swimming” in the bathtub while daddy enjoys his cold beer. Wifi and ac are strong. 2 extra pillows in the wardrobe. Just a little things should be improved, such as provided coffee bag and hanger is removable. Last but not least, the very POOR breakfast. Coffee/ tea / chocolate + toast bread + cake. That's all, no more. Ok, let the coffee warm up your stomach and find something tasty breakfast out there.

Was a very decent hostel, lovely receptionist and the room was clean - just a few mosquitoes coming in through the bathroom. The internet worked very well too, and it’s close to the centre so perfect if you are in transit and want to make most of Hatyay. The night market is the most recommendable thing to do in this small city, but would recommend to take taxi at least one way as it’s further that it seems on the map. Before going to bed we went to have a massage in the shop at the hostel, not sure if it’s their shop. This was the worse massage I had in Thailand, not just because they seemed lazy but also because they continuously talked between each other and laughing, so how can you possible relax and enjoy? Good for the Hostel, bad for the massage shop.

Location is so convenient. They have good hot water and the Thai tea at their level 1 stall is excellent. Staff are friendly as usual. However , the Breakfast is not as good as previously. We are so disappointed that they no longer have the traditional coffee /tea station. Now it is just the coffee machine. And the egg station has only one pan in operation so the wait for scrambled eggs/omelette takes a really really long time until we just didnot get our order. Think we won’t be booking the breakfast any more.

We stayed in Superior room at Wing C which is located behind Lee Garden, walkable to Kim Yong Market. Parking is good. The shower does not have hot water, shower screen does not separate dry and wet. Reception is friendly and the car park is well manned. Rated 3 stars because found the location a bit congested.

Sound proofing a bit weak 2. Limited choice at level 1,you are better off food hunting outside Tip : request for higher floor My fav : usb port charger and the electrica port is universal. Location quite strategic near to lee garden walking distance near to 7 eleven got many money changer around and massage place. But only if you go with family or old people or bring so much luggage I did not recommend this hotel because no elevator and the stairsss is so high. I think I got the room at the highest level so tired climbing up the stairs

I made a booking for one night well in advance via Booking.com. Close to my date I decided I wanted to book an additional night. Booking.com was not showing any availability for my extra night. On the 8 December I sent an email via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 10 December I sent a message via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 13 December I sent a message to Sandee Room via Booking.com...no response. On 15 December I cancelled my booking. I don't know whether this hotel is open or closed but I would advise making contact first before making any booking.

Hubby and I just wanted a short vacation is southern Thailand without too much hassle and traveling. We chose to stay in city center and required a comfortable reasonable priced hotel which was easy access to the two night hawkers, temples and the four famous markets which sold local products and wares. We found VL Hatyai after reading the numerous reviews. Our room was on the 11th floor with a great view of the city and it was spacious and clean. The twin beds and pillows were very comfortable and a kettle for making coffee was provided. A large TV with various English, Chinese and Thai channels were provided and we even had a fridge and hair dryer which were unusual for the price we paid. Due to the comfort we decided to stay 5 nights and ventured to tour outskirts of Hatyai on day trips to the Floating Market and Stainless Steel Temple.

The hotel was quite cheap and bearable with easy access to those shopping areas within 15-20 minutes' of walking distance, except for below: 1. Lack of parking lots as cars has to be on free gear all the time. 2. Air-conditioning can be really loud. 3. Noise pollution from nearby clubs. 4. Beverage sachets provided in the room but hot water at Level 2. No proper hot water bottle provided, except for small paper cups. Drinking glasses without handles were provided but not suitable for containing hot water for beverages, especially the need to travel all the way via stairs/lift. 5. Rude staff. Never in my vast traveling experiences have I been accused of breaking any house rule and was thrown with a THB2000 fine for smoking in the room. Why would someone smoke in the room when the booking clearly stated two ”non-smoking rooms”? Due to the hotel's own negligence, I found a cigarette bud at the balcony and innocently threw it into the rubbish bin without having the plan to find fault with the management over such a minor issue. Since we were traveling outskirts of Hatyai City most of the time and being environmental-friendly travelers, we also recycled our daily use of towels without the need of house-keeping. Thus, that could be the most possible reason behind the smoking dispute, of which I refused to pay. My advice: Make sure you get the staff to check on any fault in your room, even minor ones, to avoid any further dispute. They could be really strict in their house rules.

It seems that there are no Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and communications breakdown within the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Front Office team. Hot shower in our room was not working and had reported it to the Receptionist before we left the hotel for a dinner and walk. When we came back, we gave the receptionist courteousy reminder and to ask if our shower was fix. They couldnt answer that and immediately asked the maintenance staff which was happened to be standing outside of the lobby to fix it. The Worst Part:- The maintenance staff walked together with us into our room and washroom, with his same shoe which he wore when he stood outside of the lobby. After fixing it, he literally step on our floor mat to dry his shoe. The while floor mat was dark in colour and we asked him to bring that floor mat out! After reporting it to the receptionist, they didnt really know what to do, and i asked them to get the housekeeping team to come and clean it. The housekeeping lady only came to replace a floormat, without mopping the floor. We hv to request over again and tell her what happened. No apologize from any of thm. Extra tips, do not opt for their breakfast choice, there is only 6 items ala carte menu available. First day breakfast there are cereals bt the milk was abit sour, 2nd day breakfast, no cereals available.

The Train hotel is located at the same building of Hat Yai train station, it's suitable for anyone who needs to catch the early morning train or arriving Hat Yai station at late night. Robinsons department(supermarket& banks) is just 3 min walk. Room is very clean. Facilities are functional : Flat screen TV, refrigerator, bathroom with bathtub, safety box& cupboard . Staff are so friendly. When I arrived at 7.15 am,receptionist was kind to give my room at that time( so amazing). I highly recommend to stay here

Stayed 2 days, quick check in, friendly and helpful staff. Asked for a deposit. The first day of the superior room, the bathroom is narrow with dim light. The wifi signal disappeared. We complained and immediately sent teanis so the wifi was smooth. The bed linen and towels are clean. The air conditioner is noisy. The second day I booked a deluxe room. The room size is quite spacious, with old wooden furniture and a pair of chairs. It's time to renovate the room and furniture. The bathroom is spacious with a bath tube that cannot be used because there is no lid/sumbat. Here the wifi is smooth. There are 2 elevators, one on the left has a bump and a screaming sound that scares. The elevator on the right is quite normal. Close to the market and mall. There are seven eleven near the hotel and halal restaurants

First of all, I must say The owner of the accommodation is kind. We come from Narathiwat. Go out in the evening until 10 p.m. Call him and ask for the key. He provides very good service. His accommodation at night feels far away at night. But when we left in the morning, it was close to the university. We checked in in the morning and forgot about it and he brought it down to the car. Very good. As for the accommodation, the room is spacious, the air conditioner is cool, the bed is good, which is more than worth it. We got it for a price of over 500. Woke up early to see the view of the doctor and the mountains, very good.

I was book Junior Suite for the hotel but once entering , there is white stain on the floor like it never clean , also some black flake around.. Reception and Housekeeping came to see and they agree to move us to a new room which is not really different but a bit better. Just only if I asked for a spare key , but she just said that is the only one keycard of this room for the whole hotel.. Okay Fine!! The next day , we need to use the room for web-meeting after lunch and ask them to make up room during 2 hours lunch outside .. I told both the reception and press the sign at the room. Once we back to set up the meeting , Room was not clean , It is really a pissed .. that we have to wait downstairs another 20 mins and have to rush back for meeting. I asked the housekeeping that how many person work as housekeeping here , she said only herself. Thats why room is dirty even it is not full. I can see how poor of the hotel's management And staff there look ignorance a lot ,, never say sorry or even offer us a drink or something , no service mind

The room is clean and the location is great. There is 7-11 downstairs and opposite. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Lee Garden. There are massage shops in the vicinity of the hotel. There are several delicious restaurants next day. Tuk Tuk is at the hotel entrance. The hotel staff is very efficient to the manager. Kindness is like meeting an old friend. Upon our arrival, the friendly staff hurried to our taxi to collect our luggage for us. The staff was kind to allow us to check-in slightly earlier without extra charges. We got a room facing the road but it was OK since we do not spent too much time in the room anyway. The room was clean and comfortable. It is also spacious and feels rather cozy. There is no kettle in the room but there is a fridge with a mini freezer compartment. There is no 7-11 nearby but one within 3 minutes walk. Hotel is located a few streets away from the central area so it is not so noisy. Overall, we had a pleasant stay there.

The hotel is aged but seem had some refurbishment not long ago, the air-cond and shower heater look new. The location is OK, the main reason checked-in this hotel was the affordable price. The accommodation is spacious, cleanliness(3.5/5) and comfy(4/5), has a balcony with view. The bathroom was not really good(3/5) and not suitable for elderly guest, bcoz the steps to bathtub.

We were a group of 5 people staying in 2 rooms for 2 nights. The service was excellent, the buggy bringing us to and from our villa was super quick to arrive when called. Breakfast was good with ample selections of food with a mix of some local dishes. The distance from town was a bit of a distance but it wasn't a problem for us since we have our own transport. We like the fact that it is quieter out of the city.
