|0.19km from city centerI visited the hotel in March 2020 and stayed for one night. As I was looking for a budget hotel I choose Pella, because of its central location. Overall my experience was good and I have to say it was relatively good value for the money. As I was not expecting something special I won't mention the size and the furniture in the room, but I have to say the bath was really tight. Wi-Fi was fair and I had not problems connecting. The people working on the front desk are helpful, when approached. The location is more then perfect. Now the bed thing about the hotel is that you can hear what is going on in the near rooms and it is somewhat annoying and disturbing. I had the feeling, that the hotel isn't very safe with all the screaming and yelling all around my room. Overall, if you don't have a lot of money and want to stay in a central hotel, this hotel is not a bad choice. I will give 4 stars, because of the location and prices.

Although not the easiest to find, it has a very good location from where you can walk to most places within old Thessaloniki. There are also tons of good restaurants within a few block radius. The included breakfast is very good with the ability to order omelettes and other egg dishes to go with the many items from the buffet. The rooms are done in white and it does work. Bathrooms are all marble and very modern. I suspect the prices for this place will rise rapidly as its reputation spreads. Right now it's a bargain.

|1.35km from city centerMy husband and I spent 2 nights at this hotel. The location is excellent as it is only a few minutes from the White Tower. Our room was a good size and very clean. However there was no where to put a large suitcase. The shelf where a suitcase could have been put was blocked off by a full length mirror. Whilst a full length mirror is great it is a real shame they have chosen to effectively limit the use of the shelving. We put one suitcase on the desk and had to have the other one on the floor. There was also a faint smell of food in the room. We noticed that the cleaners always left a window in the room ajar and wondered if this was to try and get rid of the food smell. The bathroom was also an OK size but unfortunately it was impossible to have a shower without wetting the bathroom floor. They have an agreement with a local car park operator and we parked our car there. When we first saw the car park we were a bit hesitant. We had to drive the car onto a circular disk and the car disappeared down an elevator. We had never experienced a car park like this but it did all work OK. I had asked for the price of parking when I first booked and I was told it would be 10€. When we arrived it was 13€. I appreciate things do increase but it would have been considerate if they had said this rather than just say it’s 13€. We had intended to take the breakfast option but when we saw the room and spoke to the staff we decided against this for the following reasons: 1. There was no table and chairs in the room to eat breakfast. We would have had to balance it on our lap on the bed. 2. The earliest time we could get breakfast was 8.30am. We wanted to be out and about by this time. 3. We were concerned that the hot food would not be hot by the time we received it. To be perfectly honest we are simply amazed that a 4 star hotel would expect people to eat breakfast on their laps. The female who checked us in gave us a lot of information. In fact, so much that it was overwhelming. We would have preferred detailed information about fewer things. The gentleman who was there when we were settling our bill (the evening before we checked out) gave us good information about leaving the car park. He understood the need for detailed information. I booked this hotel almost 5 months prior to our stay. Just over 2 months before our stay I emailed the hotel to notify them that the credit card I had used to confirm the booking had been compromised and cancelled by the bank and was there a secure way I could update the credit card. They had no options. I ended up cancelling the booking and rebooking. Thankfully the rate was still the same. Whilst I understand their need for a credit card I did not receive such an unhelpful response from any other hotel. We are away for about 2 months and have just over 20 bookings. With some other hotels I could update the details securely online, some phoned me via WhatsApp, some phoned me at home prior to leaving and almost half were ha

|1.21km from city centerWe were here as part of a group tour in September 2022 and stayed for one night. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and we were able to be dropped off right outside. Check in was swift - the lobby isn't that big and there was only one lift, so one of us took the bags up, whilst the other climbed the spiral staircase. The room was compact but had enough room for everything we needed - the bedding was clean, the air con worked well, there was a wardrobe area, desk, chair and TV. There was also a fridge and safe as you'd expect. The room was clean and despite there being a very busy road outside, there wasn't too much noise coming in through the doors to the small balcony area. The bathroom was also compact, but the shower was big enough - good pressure and hot water. Breakfast downstairs was good and had a choice of hot and cold food, as well as tea, coffee and juices. The wifi was fine in case you need to use it. Overall a good short stay.

The gym was really great and I enjoyed working out with a huge and very effective fan full blast. The really winner was the help we had from Eleni who was on the front desk. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, including helping us with our onward journey. We will definitely come again and heartily recommend these apartments.

The rooms are spacious and bright, but the style is rather dated, not in the sense of ruin, but needs modernization in the style, especially bed and bed linen are not definitely at the level of a 4 stars, The windows are not very isolated and the air conditioner is very noisy but it was not a problem for us, all in the quiet area does not get excessive noise. From the airport bus stop ”Plateia Aristotelous” on Egnatia street next to the Bey Hamam it's just a 400 metre walk ever so slightly uphill that's easily navigable with a wheeled suitcase. Some of the upper-floor rooms have views of the Roman Agora archaeological site. We had a wonderful stay here. We first were on the upper floor but since there is no lift this became a bit burdensome. But the staff couldn't have been more helpful in finding us a different room for the rest of our stay and even carried our suitcases up and down the stairs for us. Even though the room was overlooking a cocktail bar we didn't have any major noise issues. All the staff members we interacted with were always helpful with smiles on their faces, providing us with great information and insight, and finally arranging for a taxi to the airport. Top tip: when you exit the hotel, turn right and walk uphill on that little street. At the top, turn right again and you'll find bakery Sarantis that sells excellent tiropitas and baklavas, perfect for breakfast.

Can get a parking space outside, but traffic is mental and can take you ages getting in and out of the city. When walking to Thessaloniki centre you walk past what seems the immigrant centre of Greece which can be a bit intimidating but I was fine. Receptionist was amazing and upgraded my room for free. Breakfast wasreally bad, never had such bad food but what do u expect for the price I paid. I’d stay here again if I was visiting Thessaloniki but If your looking for luxury or anything 3* and up, this isn’t it 😂

We stayed in the 5th (executive 2 bedroom apartments with jacuzi shower) suite, which is ideal for 4-member family. About 100 meter with two bedrooms, a separate playroom, a patio, a washing machine and modern furniture. In the bathroom there was a bath and a shower. On the other side there was a supermarket and a parallel street working 24-hour garage that suited the car. The reception has specific hours of operation, but if you get there after them they leave instructions for entering the room. The cleaning is at the disposal of the tenant, that is, whether the room will be cleaned or if they will change only towels, etc. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Thessaloniki.

Not only they welcome us and our dogs with yummy treats when we arrived we walked into a fab room with a dog bed (per dog) which was definitely posher than ones we have at home 🐾 - Hotel: Super high ceiling elegantly, recently and brilliantly refurbished. Dimitris and Stefanos were always willing to chat offering very helpfuln advice on how to navigate the city to visit the many beautiful churches and places of historical interest...I would certainly return to this beautiful vibrant city and most definitely stay at this hotel again..
