|0.47km from city centerThis was a lovely hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and in a great location to walk around Pamplona. We were on a group tour and our included meal for dinner was absolutely terrible. Salad as a starter was bland, main course was some form of re formed/manufactured chicken in bechamel sauce in bread crumbs with two boiled potatoes that looked like they had been wacked with a hammer, tasteless. Dessert wasn’t much better, some type of yoghurt which didn’t taste very nice with what I think was frozen, not fresh tasteless fruit garnished on the top. Most of the group left most of their food. We were put in a separate room which wasn’t very inviting and I felt like a 2nd class citizen compared to the other residents. Breakfast wasn’t much better, we were put back in the separate room, limited selection of food compared to what was being offered to other residents. The hotel and the tour company we were with need to address this issue as it was an absolutely awful experience.

|0.42km from city centerThis stay was a mixed experience for us. We spent two nights here and used garage, breakfast room and had dinner both nights. The breakfast was fine. The staff on reception very good. We had the set dinner and found the service a little unrefined. A Tv was in the dining room where the seemingly owners an elderly couple sat down directly in front of TV to watch a football match and have their dinner. Other guests apperared to fine this unusual and yet quaint. The food quality was okay. Our room had an electronic lock that infact did not lock but you could open without our key. We reported to reception and host showed us how to lock dispite the fault. We tried and tested it worked. The next day we discovered the cleaners had cleaned the room they obviously did not know how to lock it and the door was open. A little disapointing with our items inside. the garage was large and 10 euros for the evening. There was a very mixed range of guests in the dining room, some called in passing. Location from the city a reasonable long walk a bus did stop 500mtrs or so from Hotel.

|0.48km from city centerI made a booking for the San Fermin festival through their website for 3 rooms (we are a group of friends going together). One main reason we chose this hotel is because they only required a credit card in case of no-show, and the reservation said payment would be collected at the time of check in (July 7). Well, weeks after the reservation, without warning, they charged my bank account nearly $2000 US and said that's their policy for the festival (but nothing was indicated on their website). In fact, this is what my confirmation email says: CREDIT CARD DETAILS Your credit card won't be charged this amount (payment is to be made directly at the hotel on the day of arrival), unless you have booked a non-refundable rate or if stated otherwise in your rate's terms and conditions. In the event of a no-show, you will be charged a certain amount depending on your selected rate's cancellation policy. They refused to honor the terms of the reservation and caused my account to go into insufficient funds. Luckily, we were able to cancel and book at a different hotel. Horrible bad impression to leave on a guest. I get that you're expecting a full house but you cant change the terms that were agreed upon just because you feel like it.

|0.79km from city centerThe hotel is in an excellent location in Pamplona, but you cannot reach it by car - at least not with your own (perhaps taxis have a permit, I don't know). However, the parking option they offer is very convenient. You go to a very close-by public underground parking and give the ticket to the hotel front desk, which will charge you a discounted rate. Get the instructions from the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, and the balcony looked out onto a square (Plaza Consistorial) right in front of the City Hall (Ayuntamiento), itself a very attractive old building. Breakfast is in the adjacent bar and good for what it is. Staff at the front desk is efficient and friendly enough; staff at the bar is more uneven - some very friendly and others less so. All in all a very convenient and reasonable option for a Pamplona vacation, very close to wonderful restaurants and the in the center of the old town. Recommended.

|1.68km from city centerI had not been here since before the pandemic, so it was great to be back and meet the friendly, kind, helpful staff that works in this hotel. It is located in the modern part of Pamplona/Iruña, which is not especially beautifuf, but if you don't have your own vehicle, it is very close to the train station and still within walking distance to the old town (20-25 minutes). There is as well a city bus-stop 3 minutes away from the hotel's entrance, where bus nº21 stops and takes you to Pamplona main bus station. The hotel's inside is modern, comfortable, clean and welcoming. There is a lift, good wifi and a computer for guests beside the breakfast room. The rooms are also comfortable and well-equipped, the en-suite bathroom is very modern and clean too, and the breakfast-buffet is good and filling.

The only really uncomfortable detail was the following: the towels were new and placed them without being washed before, they had a kind of strong chemical smell and when drying did not absorb the water and left you all the body full of pelvis. It was really unpleasant that all the towels for the body were so, I commented at the reception and told me they were new and by error they put them without washing before.

Quiet, clean, modern, convenient are some of the adjectives we can use for the Exe. Other reviews mentioned noise, yet we stayed none nights in a row without any problems with excess noise. Other reviews mention pricing, but we've stayed in several other hotels in Pamplona and will attest that at this price level the Exe is fairly priced and a bargain for the quality of the room! (I would challenge any Pamplona hotel to be ”quiet” or ”inexpensive” during San Fermin!).

Rooms were clean, so no major complaint. I had no hot water one night nor the following morning. I made due as I had a lot of things to do. When I was checking out the nice clerk asked about my stay and I said it was very nice, except I didn't have hot water last night nor this morning. An officious woman came over and corrected me saying that there was hot water that morning. Clearly I had struck a nerve, but I wasn't complaining, just answering a question. Frankly, I know what water is hot and what isn't, and after running for 15 minutes this water wasn't even tepid. Since there was no one at the reception desk, I don't know why this woman felt the need to try to correct me, even tho I had been in the room and she had not.

Coming in after a long journey and arriving late in the evening, check in was quick and easy, and we moved to our room. First observation.... - Decent size for two people, however less space for large suitcases - Bed unstable and moves, base of the bed is not heavy and therefore when you lean or slide it moves - No dustbins in the room - No tea kettle and tea in the room - Pillows uncomfortable, no choice The hotel has a great location from where there are several buses and taxis to city centre and other places. University of Navarra is walking distance. Quite a few restaurants and cafes in the surrounding. The Hotel also has a Europa Car desk. Due to COVID-19 limited services like everywhere. I was able to use the small business centre for work. MOST DISAPPOINTING - PATHETIC INTERNET CONNECTION in the room. I tried three connections and none of them would work in the room. We had to always sit on the floor near the door or come down to the lobby. For this reason alone I will avoid this hotel in the future. It was a struggle for 6 days. Breakfast has two menu options. One large around 13.50 Euros and the other smaller approx 8.80 Euros. Not sure why the breakfast cant be added to the room. Breakfast spread is quite good. The Kitchen is flexible, we wanted eggs instead of ham and it was catered. Washroom has a big old style plastic dustbin enough to pack a suitcase......toiletries are not of superior quality, leaves skin dry and the bath gel is very hard on the skin. HK is kind of ok, room floors are not cleaned everyday, leaving dust, hairs on the floor both in room and washroom and had to be specifically mentioned at the front office. Front office was very helpful with queries and print outs, etc. The lady in the morning and Enrique deserve special mention as being very nice and helpful. At the same time there was one very rude, misbehaved and arrogant front office staff (male) who answered rudely the phone. When he was asked that it was already time and breakfast was still not there, he had the cheek to say it was still not time in his watch. I dont remember the name but he should not be allowed to be part of reception and customer contacts. Overall it was an ok stay, had it not been for Enrique and the lady in the front office, we would have perhaps checked out mid stay. Hope services are improved and surely the hotel can do much better. Thank you.

|62.35km from city centerWe have used this hotel several times over the past few years and it has been excellent. However, with a change of name (adding LUZE after hotel) comes other changes. Rooms still very clean but the restaurant quality has dropped massively. Albeit an unusual concept of a buffet kitchen i.e. pick your food from a selection of cooked foods or select raw meat, poultry or fish and have it cooked to your liking, this used to be a brilliant concept that worked well. Pick your favourite foods, have them cooked and then select your choice of accompaniments. Even at a relatively high menu price of €21 per person it would have still represented fair value for money. But not now! Sadly, if our experience last night is anything to go by, the quality of the meats etc was poor and almost all of the selection of hot accompaniments and other available dishes were served up at tepid temperatures at best. When I mentioned this to the manager he said he was sorry but did not offer a reason as to why the dishes were cold and did not make any offer to reheat anything. Quite frankly he was much more interested in pandering to a visiting football team in another area of the restaurant. As there is no other restaurant within several miles from this place, I would seriously avoid it.

This is because the 1st floor rooms are older, and therefore have a older furniture. In our case, it has not the furniture baggage support to open as it appears on the web, older bed head, older box than on the web photos, other apps, the printing works not well, ... Totally, that surprise comes when you see the room and this is not what you had booked. And they didn't notify us when booking that there were such rooms other than those published, because if they knew, we would not have booked this hotel. We called the same afternoon in the reception and a very friendly girl who cared very properly changed us from the second day. The new room at 2ª plant was better, but it is not that it was recently renovated, but if it was a little more to what we had imagined once surveyed on your web. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

The hotel is a beautiful old hotel full of character and history with lovely private gardens filled with the smell of Jasmine blossoms. The hotel is has a perfect mix of antique and modern furniture with very tasteful decor. The staff are very professional and super friendly and were always concerned with our welfare and comfort. EA special big thanks to Maite, Reyes, Karina and Aiore who really looked after us. Not forgetting the chef who’s excellent food was keeping us eating at the hotel every day and the cleaning lady who works hard behind the scenes. I would highly recommend the hotel to everyone travelling in this beautiful region.
