3.05km from downtownI stayed a Coventina Lake Suites for over 6 months and had a great time living there. The building is located conveniently in Gulshan-2 next to Gulshan Lake, which guarantees great views and a nice, calm atmosphere. Room and amenities were great and everything was cleaned daily. The building also offers a gym with a treadmill, weights and machines, a rooftop terrace with swimming pool and lounge area, as well as jacuzzi rooms and a restaurant on the 2nd floor. The food that was served in the restaurant or delivered to your room was good, fresh and tasty. WiFi works pretty well and the backup generator delivers power within 7 seconds in case of a power cut (quite important when you stay in Dhaka). The best thing about living at Coventina is, however, the people. The staff is super friendly and always goes out of their way to help the residents and make everybody’s stay as comfortable as possible. I really enjoyed my time there and I am looking forward to stay at Coventina again during my next visit to Dhaka.

Hotels Near Independent University, Bangladesh In Dhaka Review
have stayed at 3112 for 8 nights were the best , staff make it different , ahmed from room service was very professional and helpful , and siddik also helped us a lot at night . For sure I will be back . And definitely will recommend to all friends and famaily
Breakfast was generous, service was in place, clean and elegant. It feels safe and there is security in and out. The room was cleaned promptly, two or three times a day. The hotel is upscale and many heads of state have stayed.
It's fantastic administration in the low cast. All things considered, it was the incredible excursion with my family. Value, area, administration, and nourishment everything was great. Its area and administration were extraordinary. 5-minute separation from Gulshan. Their staff is extremely useful.
Originally only for the night shift set a night room, arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning actually had a room, but also sent the day's breakfast and welcome fruit! Although it is a Samsung hotel, but the smile and enthusiasm and meticulous service is absolutely at the international five-star level! The only shortcoming is that you need to check the room when you check out, Dhaka Super Traffic Jam, go to the airport as early as possible!
The hotel is very comfortable to stay in. The owner takes care of it very well. He also provides three meals a day for everyone. There are many dishes, and both the southern and northern tastes are taken care of. It feels like a big family. Airport shuttle is also provided, which is very convenient and safe. I stayed at Midori by Lakeshore for 3 nights this January 2020 and much enjoyed my stay and hospitality extended to me. The staffs were friendly (specially Mr Nur who was much helpful during my check-in and checkout). The room 805 was sufficiently spacious and clean with a city view balcony. One can access free Netflix on TV. Restroom came with all basic amenities one would look for. The General Manager personally ensured the guests are put up well. A perfect destination for a solo traveler like me. It is located right at Gulsan-2, a walking distance away from the shopping area, restaurants and foreign embassies. Location is a plus point as it is situated at Dhaka's safest area. One can find pool of public transportation like rickshaws, local CNGs as well as Uber so commute to and from hotel is absolutely hassle-free. The restaurant is cozy, hygienic and overlooks a beautiful lake. What more could one ask for! PS.they serve amazing breakfast with shots of fresh juices to detox your body! Highly recommended budget friendly hotel for a comfortable stay. Niraj B. from Nepal
The environment is good, the breakfast is also very good, cost-effective.
Hotel de Meredian is an excellent choice for Dhaka. The rooms are comfortable, sparkling, and wifi is available free. The restaurant is excellent. There is a rood terrace overlooking the traffic of Dhaka. It is close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle.
Competitive price, location and service compare to other five star hotels in Dhaka. I had an amenable stay, staffs are very friendly and cordial.
I had an issue with airport pick up but as a compensation, hotel management upgraded my room to Presidential suits and offered premium airport drop off. Overall excellent and I would definitely consider staying here again if Dhaka bound.
What impressed me while making a booking is there balanced hospitality where they showed the resilience to accommodate my requests possible. Neither were they overwhelming nor were they rigid. That gave me a confidence that this place is surely going to be hospitable and professional. If you work or destinations are in Gulshan /Banani areas, this is a place you can evaluate. Located right in the main road, this place is in the centre of activity yet slightly tucked away. While my request for a smoking room couldn’t be met by then as all rooms are non-smoking, they were empathetic enough to put me on 3rd floor so that the smoking zone is on the same floor. Spacious room, comfortable bed, well stacked up toiletries in washroom, fruit basket in room - all basic necessities were taken care off. Buffet breakfast is on 1st floor. It maynot be an elaborate spread but had relevant options and tastes good. I am surely going to choose this place for my next visit
The breakfast is so-so, not many varieties, the taste is very strange personally, the room is not big and it is close to the elevated main road, the top floor is noisy, but not big, the only advantage, the bed is very comfortable
I travelled from London and I had to quarantine for 7 days at Hansa. I was recommended by a friend. From airport pick up to check out was an amazing experience with excellent service, superb room service and all other facilities a person can ask for. I'm very impressed by all the front desk staff (Salman, Asif,Jamil, the waiter's (Miraj,Mikel,Mehedi) room service staff ( Nazrul & Asad ), pool area staff and the staff at the restaurant. Special thanks to Rakib (Manager) & Raihan (Sales) who made sure my 7 days at HANSA was like my home. Well done to all of them. I would highly recommend people to try this place. The hotel is very clean and it has all the facilties (Spa, Gym, roof top swimming pool, restaurant). Hope i've mentioned all the people I had interacted with. Ferdous Khan (UK)
The breakfast was good, the room was big enough and it was comfortable. Extra bed is available, children can be accommodated, twin beds can be combined. The location is in the wealthy area and it is safer. Chinese food is good, service is in place, recommended.
After traveling for one year, this stop came to Bangladesh. Dhaka. When I read the guide on the Internet, I learned that there is this Chinese Home Hotel. I was immediately excited and booked immediately. I feel a little hometown in a foreign country. The hotel includes the airport Pick-up and transportation is convenient. Mr. Hotel butler has greeted us at the door when we arrived. He warmly took us into the room, introduced the use of room facilities in Chinese, and told us some practical information around. The great thing is, of course, the value-for-money service of the hotel, including three meals a day, delicious and delicious dishes (much better than the street food outside, mainly clean and rest assured), and attentive laundry services, I put my clothes in the basket in the doorway in the morning and washed them in the afternoon to put them back together. It really moved me to cry. And the hotel owner helped us, booked train tickets for us, recommended interesting places around, almost answer all the questions, please accept my sincere thanks!
I have been to so many places, I feel very lucky at this stop. Although this is not the most upscale hotel in the local area, it must be the happiest hotel, and it feels like home.
I'm always tired on the road, always feel satisfied, and I feel that the world is beautiful (I didn't like to write reviews, but I still want to recommend this hotel to friends who come later)
We came for holidays in the beginning of February 2020 to Bangladesh and chose “The Capital LTD” for our stay in Dhaka. We had a very professional and polite check-in. The rooms were nice, well the beds are quite hard, but cleanliness and the whole service were very good! Especially Adnan and Habib were very helpful. They also helped us very much in getting train tickets last minute! The restaurant was also quite good with reasonable prices. The chef was very friendly. Also the location of the hotel is quite good, since you are not too far from old Dhaka but you are not directly in this very busy part of the town. We had a really good time and felt really safe. We highly recommend “The Capital LTD”!
Stayed here from 19th to 24th June 2019. Hotel is centrally located, just 20 minutes ride from Airport and near to famous Banani & Gulshan Area. Receiption and other staff are very cooperative and ready to help anytime. Room is spacious with all standard amenities and neat & clean bathroom. Having good varieties in breakfast with Indian dishes.
The breakfast was good, the room was very warm, the hotel didn't have a comb. The hotel is next to the Le Méridien Hotel. It is really close to the airport. I arranged a vehicle at the hotel to spend 1000 Dhaka at the airport, not a free pick-up service.
I had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Hotel HighGarden in Uttara, Dhaka. It is a 3* hotel near the airport with reasonable price. Rooms are very clean and spacious, reception area is also spacious and well decorated. Buffet breakfast had reasonable choices with fresh juice and eggs made to order. The airport pick up and drop off (free) was on time and the driver, Shariful, was very polite and courtious. All hotel staff were well trained, very polite and professional; many thanks to Robiul at Housekeeping for his excellent service. Lastly, I must mention Mr Jobaer Ahmed, in-charge of Sales and marketting, for his hospitality, professionalism and excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel and will visit again.
The central air-conditioning room is very noisy and almost unbearable. The windows and the building next door are within easy reach. There are also several large air-conditioning units that make people feel uncomfortable. Service attitude was good. There is a shopping mall next door, and eating upstairs is convenient.
Hot water is not a centralized water supply. It is rare to turn on the water heater switch at the door. No hair dryer in the room.
Ctrip booking cannot be free of charge, and the hotel's car cost is very high.
Hotel is on a very dusty broken road. Toilets are disgusting and dark. Rooms are ok but have fridges and air conditioners that probably were bought in 1950. WiFi is terrible. Had to be moved from one room to another due to lack of reception. There’s a balcony, however balcony looks like it’s not been cleaned in the last 50 years. Food was given, for lunch and dinner..... it was the same menu 🙄. No change at all. Just reheated the excess food. The worst thing is..... MOSQUITOS!!!!! The place is so dirty of course there will be mosquitos. They don’t have the bed nets and you will definitely get bitten through the night. Positive side ONLY..... is the staff. Amazing helpful staff. They will do what they can even though it may not be much. They are lovely bunch of lads. The manager has a close eye on their daily work activities but clearly fails to see ALL THE OTHER ISSUES! Stay away if you want to sleep and go to the toilet in a hotel and eat different food and want to use food internet and be in a clean environment! One last thing, I’ve been to two rooms which have balcony doors. They both have a space between the door and the frame. Causing dust mosquito and draft to come through.
I have been staying in this hotel since 9th June,2018.Till this second , I am one happy customer with no complaint or complaints to extend .But only compliment/s I shall say as I have experienced wonderful hospitality extended by the hotel staff till now. As for the service and hospitality rendered by the staffs are very commendable. They are absolutely courteous, kind and always has the sense or urgency in performing their work specification. I must say , its a wonderful feeling having such magnificent staff with good attitude . Food served in Suban Cafe on the ground floor of the hotel has excellent varities choices and selection of food , range from the starter till tea & coffee . Again , I must compliment the good food served and extended to the customers. Over all performances by the staffs has been Excellent and my personal compliments to Mr Iftikar ( Asst GM of Days Hotel ) , Mr Rashid ( Subah Cafe MANAGER of Days Hotel ) ,Mr Atiq , Mr Habib and not forgetting Ms Jessica ( All Front Desk Personnel of Days Hotel ) for making my stay so wonderful till today. Keep up the great job . Regard Saiful Bahri Room 207. Days Hotel Dhaka.
Breakfast streamlined: omelettes, coffee, tea bags, sliced bread/butter/sweet sauce, croissants, and one or two kinds of bread; the other 4 are similar to cooking; only this; There is a reception champagne, the room has a welcome greeting card, the service is good; the hotel facilities are very new, clean and tidy, quiet; the extra bed should not work, because there is no place; Eating in addition to the hotel's western food; there is a large area of restaurants to walk 5-700 meters; Very close to the airport, not affected by traffic jams, 20 minutes to arrive; The parking lot didn't pay attention!
I just returned from a 3-night stay in Dhaka. The tour operator who planned my itinerary suggested I stay at Rigs Inn, and it was a great choice. Rigs Inn offers good value for money; a nice, safe location conveniently-located between the airport and old town; and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was given a very spacious corner room that was in good condition, reasonably well-appointed, and clean. There were two small negatives related to my stay that keep me from awarding 5 stars. First, the restaurant was a bit uneven. I had two dinners there; the first night ordering Indian food, which was quite bland and unexciting. Soft drinks were served warmish, despite being taken from a refrigerator. The second night I had Tandoori Chicken and it was excellent. Second, the wifi reception in the room was "acceptable," but not strong. It kept going in and out, but I was able to get needed work done. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it as a great place to stay for people who don't want splurge for the 5-star, international hotels in town but still want a nice, clean, friendly place to stay.
Breakfast is very rich, toiletries, hairdryer, iron and slippers are provided, bed is comfortable, hot water is good, there is a guard with a gun at the entrance of security, buffet dinner on the 13th floor is about 200 yuan, wireless internet is fast
I have experienced a lot from this hotel. I can not believe how fine the hotel is. One can go with his family and can have a nice tour in the hotel. The inside is very nice. From the window one can enjoy beautiful scenery.
The service here is very good, the hotel is very safe and there are no mosquitoes in the room! There is also a free pick-up and drop-off service, great! Thank you for the service of the staff here~
Very clean, but the room is a bit smaller. There are many types of breakfast, super delicious.
I stayed here 7 nights across 3 different stays. Only 4 KM from airport. Was welcomed warmly every time by Zaman at reception as well as early morning receptionists. I could leave my bag at the hotel while taking road-trips to places of interest as well as to Cox's Bazar. The best part was Newton, the restaurant manager. Meeting him felt like meeting a long-lost friend. He helped arrange a private car for five days for a very reasonable price as well as organized early morning breakfasts for each day I had to leave early. Room was nice and spacious and had a mini-freeze. Decor is dated and does need upgrades but come here for the staff and service, not for luxury. I will certainly stay here when in Dhaka.
I’m a frequent business traveller and have travelled more than 10 countries multiple times and it was my 2nd visit to Bangladesh, but this visit and stay in After Hours Residence is really unforgettable. The food is really delicious and I liked it a lot. Infect I have visited 02 famous restaurants ( don't want to disclose the name) and believe me the hotel food is better than those restaurants. I’ll not hesitate to refer your hotel to any of my friend/colleague and would like to stay with you in my next visit.
