Hotels Near Kfz-Service Und Reparatur Onesseit In Stendal Review
We stopped here on the way to Danmark. We were hungry and needed a place to relax and enjoy an easy meal. This was the perfect place. The staff was very polite, specially with our 2 years old daughter. Good traditional food, quick service. Restrooms VERY CLEAN.
We decided to stay at a nice hotel for a rest day while cycling the Elbe, and this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The reception staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, the room - double comfort room in hotel building - was spacious, stylish and new and shiny. There is a mini bar - buy your own beer and use the fridge, the prices are far too high to consider paying for mini bar drinks. The only thing missing was tea making facilities. When I asked at the front desk I was given a kettle! We had our own tea with us so great stuff. The breakfast here is the best I've seen in Germany by far: Top quality meats and fish, with different things every day. Scrambled and boiled eggs. The lemon mousse was fantastic! I saw someone get fried eggs and bacon so I thought I'd try my luck and ask for poached eggs. No problem! All the staff here are so friendly and eager to make the guest happy. Even the best hotels can have room for improvement: We thought the room price was good value, but the food and drink offering is rather overpriced, as is the mini bar. Their £5 pint of beer tasted exactly the same as the £3 pint we had elsewhere, and while I would have loved to try a Wagyu steak, I couldn't justify £38 for it. Dinner was good, but not exceptional considering the cost. We had similar standard food in other hotels for much lower prices. The hotel is also a fair walk to the town - just under a mile - but it is a nice walk, we enjoyed it. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you stay here.
We stayed for 5 nights for a family wedding. The staff were all super friendly and attentive and nothing was too much bother, they even did our washing which was appreciated as we had been travelling for a while before we got there. Some rooms are more spacious than others, number 3 is a particularly nice corner room. It was very clean and had comfortable beds. They have a wonderful outside decked area with full meal and bar service - perect in mild weather. We opted for the German breakfast each morning of boiled eggs, cold cuts of hams, cheeses with bread rolls and jams, orange juice, tea and coffee. Scrambled eggs and bacon are also availabke. There are great nearby restaurants. This has the best location in Gardelegen as it sits on the town square so great for people watching and market place activities. Nearby the little shops are very interesting (no chain stores to spoil the ambiance) and filled with fabulous stuff with helpful, friendly shop owners. Gardelegen is a fabulous and interesting old Hanseatic, walled city with obvious town pride and definitely worth a look if travelling in the Altmark region for a true German experience.
Nice hotel with nice staff. Good restaurant and Nice New room Our motorcycles was parked away from the road. Good Breakfast and the prices were Very fine. The hotel is located in the middle of a forrest, so Nothing around it
I found this stay very simple and just what you need to have for a overnight stay at Brandenburg. The little downside to the stay we had was that no dinner was served and it was quite hard to find a good restaurant nearby. We walked some distance and could not find any where to eat. One place near by the sea side but only to find that the restaurant was fully booked that night. So we ate at the local diner in the small village and they had an nice dish with wiener schnitzel and potatoes but all very poor. The breakfast the next day was indeed very poor to and it was not located at the big dinner on the castle. it was a smaller building close by which also held the reception.
I had to stay here for work & my room was booked by the company. I wasn't expecting much. However, I must say that I had a good surprise. It's located in the outskirts of Barleben town & about a 20min walk from the Barleben station. There is a bus stop 2min walk from the hotel, but the buses are so rare that the best way to get there is with a taxi. The rooms are average sized, neat, & have all what you need, except a kettle. TV, mini bar, comfortable beds. They provided me with a kettle after I asked for one. The hotel also has a restaurant, which has some good food. You can also order food to the room. The prices however, I must say are expensive. Specially for a small town like Barleben. The highlights of the hotel however are: 1. The breakfast buffet. Superb! For the price you pay there, it's a wonderful spread. Egges, sausages, cheese, fresh meat, cereal, muesli, yoghurts, breads, juices, tea & coffee. Definitely worth the money. 2. Customer service. First class!!! No matter who was at the reception, they would treat you with a smile & solve your problem or answer your question. Ever so friendly & extremely decent in handling customers. Even the housekeeping was great. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is because their wifi is bad. The best signals are at the top on the 3rd floor, but on evenings you completely lose signals. Yes it's peak hours for browsing the internet, but that's not an excuse at a hotel. Will certainly stay there again for business purposes
