1.68km from KrungThai BankThis is my second time staying at this resort. I primarily used it ad a base to visit friends. This visit (10 nights) was equally as enjoyable as my first. Check in/check out seamless. The resort is made up of singular lodges which are beautiful and all of which have a veranda to sit out in in the morning / evenings. The grounds of the Resort are also stunning. The lodge itself is fairly basic but to me have everything you need. Large comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and free water. Free internet which again on this visit worked well. Air con which worked well. Satellite tv but no English speaking channels available. Large bathroom with bath and shower which all worked fine but an upgrade at some stage wouldn't hurt. There is a decent restaurant onsite which serves delicious mainly Thai food and by Western standards at a very reasonable price. The town of Sawang daen din is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away with all the amenities you'd expect to find in a med/large Thai town. Although I call Chuanthanapanya a resort, by Western standards don't expect the facilities you'd find in resorts in the West. No pool, gym etc. It's a complex situated in a non tourist area of Thailand and servers mainly Thai customers. That however in no way is meant as a negative. It's a lovely quiet, relaxing place to stay and use as a base to explore the local area. I thoroughly enjoy my stays there and at about £15 per night have no complaints whatsoever. When I go back to the area again in July i will be staying again and will be very happy to do so.
