0.52km from La Taverna Dei ReStayed here for two nights on a business trip in May. No major issues. As others have commented on, there are 4 flights of stairs to climb. Likely an issue for older guests, but I didn't mind the exercise. Rooms are nice. Mine was clean. Wifi worked well and was fast enough to stream a movie one evening. I found the bed to be amazing, but they may not be to everyone's taste. They are memory foam beds, so feel quite odd if you are not used to them. My main concern would be the inside temperature in the warmer months. . . There is no air conditioning. The windows open, but it is quite noisy on the streets (late night casino right below, and the street cleaners start at 5:30). There seem to be two sizes of rooms. The big ones would be what I would recommend, not just because of the size, but due to the fact that the large rooms have a coffee maker. The small ones don't. Of the three people that I met, no one spoke English. This is not a complaint (after all, we are in their country), but an observation. Staff are pleasant and helpful, and google translate makes things easy from a communication perspective. 'Breakfast' is included, but is only a pastry and a cup of coffee in the cafe across the street. Could be worse, but don't expect a full breakfast. Value score is high as the room that I was in was only 45 euros per night! I'd stay here again, but absolutely not in the warmer months of the year.
