2.04km from downtownMy husband and I recently stayed at this property. We arrived around noon to see if there was any way that we could check in early. We were greeted by Alejandra at the front desk. She was so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She explained all about the hotel and gave us a nice room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool area. We stayed only 2 nights, but we will definitely be back again!
2.58km from downtownVery nice interior! We arrived here last-minute after having a nightmare experience at another hotel venue nearby. The staff was very accomodating, gave us parking permits, extra towels, and had a coffee bar (with great coffee, surprisingly!) available throughout the entire day. We had a 2 queen bed suite. The beds were very comfortable! Great lighting for getting ready in the bathroom. Desk and sofa were nice additions, and we had plenty of room for our belongings. Would definitely recommend this venue!
2.72km from downtownYour s greate company our stay has gone well the rooms are spot on thanks the people around are are ok nice and the life that is next to the hotel is nice the bed feels amazing you should make this place more local thanks for the stays
2.97km from downtownThis Austin hotel is conveniently located within minutes of downtown and the 6th Street Entertainment District. Shopping and the University of Texas are also nearby attractions where guests can spend the majority of their time. On site, the indoor pool, the coffeehouse-like service and wireless internet access make each stay comfortable.
3.03km from downtownStayed here for just one quick night. Served its purpose with a very comfortable 2br suite each with a queen bed, bathroom etc. Great common area to hang out in and very quite room at the back of the property. Check in was really easy. They have notices up regarding social distancing, masks required etc. Got to our room and everything was really clean. Remotes had been cleaned and put in sealed plastic sleeves, common touch points looked great and felt really safe about staying in that unit. They don't offer the normal breakfast, but you can go to lobby and pick up a to go breakfast (which we didn't do), but I'm sure it was great. This property is right off of 1-35. I'm sure the rooms facing the 35 have a little more noise, but we were not bothered. I would for sure consider staying here again.

3.04km from downtownPSA: If you're looking to travel to Austin for a weekend getaway, do your research! Check football game schedules before booking your airfare! We made the mistake of having a set date for our girl's weekend, and found out way too late that there were a couple games in town at that time, which not only made the city a bit more crowded, it also drove up the price of every hotel within a reasonable distance from downtown. I checked prices on all the hotels within a 5 mile radius pretty frequently leading up to our trip. This was the closest we were able to get to the city - 5 miles, usually 20 minutes by car. The hotel was okay, but it did feel a little old. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked, though, and that's about as much as we needed. The beds and the pillows were nice to lounge on (and it's rare for me to like both a bed and a pillow in a hotel, pain in the tooshie that I am...) The room had a fridge - which we used for both ciders and water, a desk - which went unused for the weekend, and a decent bathroom. It was nice that the sink was separate from the shower and toilet, allowing us both the opportunity to get cleaned up without having to wait for one person to completely finish. The staff was friendly enough, and we saw them a few times as we waited for a Lyft/Uber to make its way to us for the trip to the city. I guess it wasn't a terrible stay, but it certainly wasn't the most pleasant or memorable stay. I don't think I'd choose this hotel - or this area - if I'm in Austin again.

3.1km from downtownThis Courtyard is not downtown, but the price reflects its location. It is clean, well maintained with friendly staff and a complimentary shuttle that runs frequently to the downtown Marriott which is very close to the action. We found this service very convenient with accommodating, friendly drivers. The bed was very comfortable, the room was not huge but very adequate though a bit dated. We enjoyed the quick breakfast bar, and the proximity to the Marriott Austin South with the very nice contemporary Limestone Kitchen and Bar for more sustenance. An affordable choice.

So. Imagine your job sends you to a strange city and you’re expected to be there for 3 months. The fear I had of being in some crappy hotel for 3 months was overwhelming. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Two wonderful young ladies, Jenifer and Keilen. Beautiful, sweet, professional and knowledgeable. They put my first concerns to rest rapidly. They made me feel welcome and at ease while assuring me that anything I may need during my stay they would do their ultimate best to accommodate. Over the course of the next week I went on to meet Fabiola, Nora, Olivia, Rudy, Angelica, Haley, Shirley, Ray, and several others that made my stay memorable and amazing. I was stuck in Austin for Xmas and New Years. They went over and above to make sure I was happy and well cared for as well as welcomed like family. This is my first experience with an extended stay facility. This place offers free washers and dryers for laundry. A great location, so close to so much and quite central to main arteries. A basketball court and an outdoor barbecue are available and maintained well. A fitness center and working station top off the list of amenities. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they offer free dinners and drinks. Beer and wine along with fair quality food. A special Shout out to Rudy and Shirley and Olivia. You all go over and above to make sure your environment is clean, comfortable and respectable. You reflect upon this company how I feel you live your lives at home. I’m proud to say I know and have met you all!! Needless to say. I would recommend this Staybridge Suites to anyone looking to be well served in a clean, comfy and accommodating hotel.

Participate in the preferred hotel of the annual Southwestern South. From the second floor, you can go directly to the main venue in the south-southwest. The bar on the top floor is also very good! recommend! recommend! The only short board is so expensive, nearly $700 a night!

Yes, the air is good, breakfast is served, BACON is super delicious

This hotel is a solid 3-star hotel, similar to a courtyard or Hampton Inn quality. There are minor cosmetic wear through the room/bathroom and the cleaning isn't Four Seasons quality but I had a good stay and the staff are wonderful. The Cons - If you're below floor 18 or so, you may hear street noise. It's worse if you're below 10. I was on 14 and heard the crosswalk beeping non-stop. Faint, but still. I moved to 21 and could still hear it periodically but not as often. - People rave about the cleaning here, but the first room I got had someone else's hair around the shower, and the outer part of the toilet bowl had someone else's pee. Not a lot, but still gross. - Mixup of rooms. I called housekeeping to request a cleanup time of 10:00a for my five night stay. They did it that day but no one showed up the next day. When I called, they said someone set my room as do not clean. I have no idea why as I never requested this and never used the door hanger to indicate this. So they must have mixed me up with someone else. Also, they once called me to tell me my pizza arrived, but I never ordered a pizza. I should have claimed it anyway. - Low water pressure. The shower and bathroom sink water pressure was low, but the kitchen sink was good. Neutral - Neighbor noise. It's mostly a business hotel so you won't hear a lot of families and kids. The walls aren't paper thin, but you may hear people above you moving around and pipes sounds in the bathroom. It's not terrible, but would be worse if it was a family hotel. - Room size is on the smaller size. I would recommend upgrading to a room with a sofa-bed if you want a size of a more "standard" US hotel room. - Minimal toiletries. There are mounted shampoo/condition combo in one bottle (that tends to leak) and body wash in another mounted bottle in the shower. You get a bar of soap and a mini lotion. I suggest bringing your own bathing stuff if this isn't enough. - Checkout time. You can bump it back 30 minutes but they'll charge you if more. 12:30p is the latest. Pros - Simple room decor. Kind of reminds me of a modern hospital suite. - Comfortable bed - Great appliances - full sized fridge, stove top, microwave, coffee maker. You also get a new sponge and dish detergent. - Staff. The staff really want you to have a pleasant stay. After I was annoyed of the housekeeping issues, I coincidentally ran into Parker and he was incredibly accommodating. He comped me dinner at Caroline's and moved me to a different room. He even called me the next day to check on me. - Location is great. You're a short walk from a lot of tasty places and VooDoo Donuts is right there. I got to all these recommended food places on foot in 30 min or less. Or you could just take one of the billion scooters left all over to faster commute time. - The breakfast is amazing. I only had it one day but it's free and they had fresh flavored pancakes, a yogurt bar, cereals, pastries, fruits, different juices, e

I had a great time in this property and I loved that we had a kitchen available to prepare our meal or even heat all leftovers. The location is another plus if you want to feel the city and try public transportation it is very easy to commute to downtown Austin from here, bus stop just across the hotel. I know that people use other options, but I do love to try public transportation and get to know the locals and experience something that you cannot have in a cab. They have computers available and printers. There is a coffee during the afternoon for guests, that's a good treat especially after a long day of work. We do stay in Residence Inn when we want to feel in our own home.
We stayed here two night, using Marriott points. Easy to find and easy to drive into Austin for tours, bars and restaurants. Staff was nice and friendly. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfasts in the morning were nice & free! Only things I found confusing was if you pass the hotel driving west... it was hard to find roads to drive North & East, back to the Hotel (290 was bumber to bumber and we didn't want to get on that). I would highly recommend this hotel. Nice stay.
I was so impressed upon arrival, great service, a setup of welcome tea / coffee and water. The room was the most impressive, it was better than Hilton's I'd recently stayed in. I love that the room had a convenient setup and thoughtful touches such as a coat / hat rack on the wall (super handy during winter) and plenty of hooks in the bathroom. You can use the washing machines and dryers at the sister property next door, Homewood Suites and there is a convenience store in the lobby that you can purchase items from. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in and I'll definitely try to return on future trips to Austin.
Located in the high-end business district, the hotel design is trendy, the atmosphere is very good, the price is slightly smaller, the front desk is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, especially worth visiting is the Tommy Bahama home store in the business circle, the most beautiful home store I have ever seen. ,none of them

My wife and I have not been able to spend time with our grown Children who live in Austin since the COVID situation came up as I have to take immunosuppressants and we had not found a safe a comfortable way to spend time there. I reached out to the W to understand the current safety standards and ask for special room accommodations to make the trip both safe and enjoyable. Within hours I had a positive response from their management team wishing me safe travels. As usual upon arrival we we greeted by the warmly by staff but they were also taking care to observe all precautions. Throughout the stay they made us not only feel welcome, provided us everything we could need (including off menu smoothies) but also made it so that we did not feel concerned about being outside of our safe space at home. Room service was excellent and the way they have the outside setup at Trace allows for great food, fun atmosphere and also Social Distancing. If you like us have been thinking it is too risky to travel, or that when you got to the hotel it would feel like a hospital, the W Austin will change your mind. Thanks to all the staff that made our trip so great. Justin
Your s greate company our stay has gone well the rooms are spot on thanks the people around are are ok nice and the life that is next to the hotel is nice the bed feels amazing you should make this place more local thanks for the stays
We stayed at this location for a couple’s trip to the Hill Country. It is within a reasonable driving distance from major Texas Hill country attractions, such as Lake Travis and the Oasis, scenic route 1431 from Cedar Park to Marble Falls, and Hamilton Pool. Many other Austin attractions are also a short drive away. This quiet hotel is right across from Lakeline mall with a wide variety of dining options within a short driving distance. The hotel practices social distancing due to the Coronavirus. Breakfast is served at the lobby with the option to eat table-side or take it to your room. It is a modified Hampton Inn breakfast with single serve items to protect guests (egg sandwiches, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurts, cereal, fruits, and juices), which is much better than the grab n’ go breakfast bags at other hotels during this pandemic. Housekeeping is done daily. The hotel appears to be new. It was also very, very clean and made quite an impression on us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good value and we would definitely stay at this location again and recommend to friends and family.
Me and my Girlfriend stayed here two nights to attend MotoGP in Austin. The location is so close to many great bars and shops that it's completely walkable if you want to see what's around Austin. Every morning breakfast is serviced in the back house. The best part is the parfait at the end, it's basically like desert! Nick, the Host, is a treat. He's always interested to here where you are from and what you're there too see. Also he rides an DRZ400 so that puts him up in my book lol. The rooms are all charming with a great antique aesthetic and feel. They were all clean and tidy and made our stay very magical. My girlfriend said I had, and I quote, "done good!". Can't ask for anything more!
After doing some research I was still not clear on a good location in Austin without paying downtown prices and high parking fees. Upon landing I googled hotels near the airport for one night. We stayed at this La Quinta and we're very happy with the location to downtown as well as the room and service. By car, it was to just minutes to South Congress Ave, the Capital building, etc. People advised us that traffic would be horrible and parking would be very difficult but as long as you stayed away from the rush hours it was fine. We did not get stuck in traffic. I did set my GPS to stay off of the highway going in and out of the city and I think that helped. Parking was also not a problem as we found spots on the street every time. There are parking garages if that doesn't work out however. I would recommend for the few extra dollars to upgrade to the king executive suite room as it is spacious, his two large screen TVs and a big shower, fridge and microwave. there are also restaurants and a Starbucks right across the street. Best of all when you are done it is literally 5 minutes to the airport!
Great service and clean room
During this rough time of COVID-19 I was hit with no plumbing in my house. South Congress Hotel save the day for me! I was able to check into this oasis of a hotel and have some serenity back into my life. The staff was extremely sweet, accommodating in the process. I could tell they are taking extra precautions to take care of their guests during this time. The hotel is at such an amazing location. Beds are very comfortable! I also took advantage of in room dining and the food was delicious and not the typical boring food you get in hotels. Manana was also a great perk in the morning and afternoon. I highly recommend the golden eye (house made goldenmilk with a shot of espresso)! I am so happy that this hotel is in Austin. Highly recommend!
Everything about our stay at the Hotel Ella was lovely! Molly was so cheerful and lovely at the front desk. She helped us with our reservation and ensured that we had a great room to enjoy our much needed getaway! Michael from the bar was super friendly and prompt. We were able to enjoy our bubbles on the lovely balcony outside of our room. We returned to the balcony again in the morning for coffee and to read the paper. The hotel is super convenient and within walking distance to so many Austin attractions including the Bullock museum, the Blanton, and UT campus. Tyler the valet was also extremely nice and helpful as we sadly had to leave. We will certainly be back!
Book this hotel because when I saw it on trip.com I already like it the ambiance is nice, clean and the room is big we stay there 1 night with my family I'm going to book again there on the future trip because the location is great the parking so surrounded with trees...so far so good 😊

Hotel is beautiful and was clean. From the valet at arrival and the desk they were very friendly and helpful. Valet is on 7th, not Congress but is easy to get to. The room was beautiful. Highly recommend doing the deluxe room only a little bit extra and almost double the space. The bathroom has very nice soaps and plenty of space, along with a separate makeup counter area. Shower did take a couple minutes to get warm but got plenty hot enough. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The mini fridge was not stocked due to COVID but was on for your use with your own stuff. Didn't get a chance to use pool or fitness but both were open and looked nice. Hotel did have some dining options open but ended up walking elsewhere. I highly recommend and want to go back soon!
The property is within minutes of a mall & many restaurants. The hotel property is clean and well lit. Comfortable beds and extremely comfortable pillows make it for a good night's sleep/nap. Breakfast buffet had a great selection. The pool and spa were ample. Even on the days it was a bit busy we never felt overcrowded. We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious for three teenagers (17&13) and one adult. Hotel staff was more than helpful and build is secure regardless of time of arrival. We are MOST DEF staying at this location on our next trip to Austin.

The service was very good and caring, knowing that the child had an exam the next morning, and a free breakfast was specially arranged. It was originally not included in the breakfast. Such carefulness is rare in foreign service.
The suite hotel has a very good environment, breakfast is average, no extra beds, suitable for children, there is a swimming pool, the hotel is okay from the airport, 20 minutes by car, parking.
My family and our friends recently stayed at this hotel and it was by far one of the coolest properties we have seen! They have a giant mural inside and a vintage bug outside as some of the hotels decor. We loved the outdoor space and pool area as we were able to all grill out by the pool while the kids were swimming instead of finding a restaurant nearby everyone could agree on. Shout out to the staff I think there names were shayna and Zachary who were super cool and accommodating with stuff we needed. The guy in the morning that checked us out was great also but I did not get his name.. We can not wait to come back to this hotel soon! Thank you to the whole team.
Checkin: Clerk was nice; got room key went to room; room was spacious w/ cheap ugly furniture - desk wobbled; sofa quite uncomfortable and seemed really old and worn. Problems came next day when I went down stairs and waited for my pick up. No one was in lobby so I walked over to TV remote to change the channel, moments later a man walked up and sat down where there was a newspaper (he probably had been sitting there before I got there). He had no mask on and was 2 feet from me. I stepped back and asked him if he would please put on a mask. He was unpleasant but went to front desk and they gave him one. On my way out I told the clerk that I had booked at that hotel b/c of the hotel's policy re: masks and was upset that this guy had apparently been sitting reading the paper w/out a mask. Would he in the future please remind guests to wear masks. HE said "No. I'm not going to get in a fight with a guest about a mask." I told him I didn't see why he had to get in a fight about masks, just ask people to wear them in order to carry out the hotel's stated policy. He said he would not do that. I called Hilton's customer service, who said they'd do something. I don't know what they did b/c for the rest of my 5 night stay, there were constantly guests walking through lobby, in and out of hotel, w/out masks and only one clerk ever said anything to anyone. I felt uncomfortable using the elevators b/c so many guests were on them w/out masks, leaving their germs on the elevator surfaces. I may sound like a nut and may even be a nut but the hotel advertises itself as one that requires masks and yet did nothing to enforce that rule. Elsewhere in Austin I was in stores, gas stations, where people universally wore masks b/c they knew they were not allowed not to remove them. Here, the message was: where one if you want, which was not the advertised and promised message from the hotel when I booked there. What particularly irritated me was that after I spoke with several of the desk clerks about my concern and twice called Hilton's customer service to register my complaint, someone posted Daylight Savings flyers all over the place and put them under the room doors. Why could they not have done the same with flyers reminding people to wear masks??? In other matters, after two or three days, suddenly the water pressure in my room stopped to a very slow drip. I called the desk and asked if the hotel was experiencing a general problem and was told it was and that it would be fixed. I ignored it. When I returned later that night nothing had changed. I called down to the desk and was told that there were calcium deposits in the pipes that had caused the poor water pressure and that the maintenance man would have to come to my room to repair it. That seemed unlikely but the next day I okayed it and it was fixed. But it took over a day for me to get any water pressure again b/c I was told it was being taken care of automatically the first time I called it in bu
As a locally owned business, which is VERY important to the locals here, I would have to stay this establish is a TRUE hidden Gem. Every single room has a different theme, and you will find jacuzzi suites on the first floor, which are the coolest entity! I mean, who thinks of this stuff???!!!! And they are CLEAN. And just awesome. On the second floor, an arrray of lavishly oriental inspired rooms that are larger than your home probably are private, literally sound proof, and the term "bang for your buck" really hits home. I felt like a princess my first stay in a second floor suite. On the third floor, nothing short of spectacular. With balcony suites which overlook a tidy and private pool area complete with a functioning hot tub makes you wonder why every hotel doesn't take the risk to make such courageous attempts to create vividly aesthetically sensational lasting impressions like this place. Did I mention the showers? I will let you see for YOURSELF. It is that cool. The staff are really pleasant and will not mind giving you a tour so you can choose a room which caters to your liking. Everyone is friendly, and your privacy is very respected, much like that of a 5 star hotel back home in New Orleans. If originality, great location, and unique assets which are great for story time when speaking of your trip to Austin are what you seek, then this is the hotel for you.

The surrounding environment is good, the transportation is convenient, and it is close to the school. It takes about ten minutes to walk. Good breakfast, variety, fruit, milk, eggs, yogurt, cakes, etc., room facilities, free WIFI, Internet access is very convenient
Homewood suites by Hilton was a five-star experience for me. We stayed on the fifth floor with a view of the pool next to the gym and had a suite. I was very impressed with the details and the full kitchen and how friendly everybody was. They also provide free breakfast and wine for happy hour. It is one block from Rainey Street. A 10 minute walk to where the bats fly out Of the bridge at sunset. A 20 minute walk to sixth Street and Congress near the Paramont. You can rent electric bikes at the bridge and ride for miles along the river. There is so much to do on rainy Street and sixth Street and Congress Street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge we had a full kitchen and a little living room. It is right next to the freeway but it is insulated from any freeway noise or exhaust.
My family and I like to stay at this location because we find it easy to get on Highway 183 or the Capitol of Texas Highway to travel to Downtown Austin for live music events, South Congress for shopping and dining, or The University of Texas for live sporting events. We also enjoy the complimentary made-to-order breakfast and the Manager's Reception. My teenage daughters have loved the ambiance of the lobby since they were very small, and now that it is remodeled and updated, we all enjoy it more. It does not hurt that the lobby has "two flippin' swans," as they put it on social media the first time we stayed there many years ago.
Home Town Suites has the best management and staff, the hotel is quite safe and very reasonable price. 😁 It's our home away from home. Your in great hands with Jessica the general manager. We will always ❤️ the clean and comfortable 😊 room's, the kind and knowledgeable staff. The area is safe and walkable. There's many wonderful restaurants and stores that are a short walk 😁. With plenty of parking. Public transportation is easily accessible.
