J'ai réservé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel qui se trouve à proximité de l aéroport. L hôtel ne paye pas de mine mais première impression sa va. Dans le hall des fauteuils et canapés et les personnes s y allongent comme à la maison . Clientèle essentiellement masculine... A priori hôtel qui jouxte une clinique et les patients séjournent dans l hôtel c'est un hôtel et une clinique en même temps Petit déjeuner a 25 dinars c'est assez cher mais vous aurez un café dégueulasse du pain beurre pas de jus .. confiture périmée. Mais le clou de la surprise c'est la chambre avant de rentrer dans le lit je contrôle et j ai bien fait des tâches jaunes des poils des cheveux hyper crad regardez les images. J ai change de chambre dans la nuit très tard .. c est vétusté pas un 4 étoiles... Nous n avons pas fermé les yeux. Aucun geste commercial de la part de la direction au courant de ce qui m est arrivé

We had booked a triple room instead just arrived we received a up grade in small suites ! Very gentle!! Room with double bed, kitchen room and bed sofa and bathroom in modern style. I felt home.The place is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We asked for the missing covers for the bed sofa and immediately served us with coats and covers just out of the washing machine. It is a pity that there is no restaurant that serves for dinner, because there are no fast food or restaurants with local kitchen, but only a room next to the hotel Maia that serves coffee and sandwich/sweet sandwiches. We went down for breakfast the morning and I must say that the whole thing was delicious, especially fresh bean juice and bread. We stayed for a night all in quiet ... Hotel Maia is excellent price and pleasant stay. The only negative side is the lack of availability of dinner in hotels and the distance from the center of the capital for the rest is all excellent!

This hotel is perfect but I'll argue.already when you arrive at the hotel one person welcomes us and a priori a guard stays all night to watch the vehicles of the client. once arrived the hotel is very luxurious and a very good Wi-Fi a disposition that works super well and with a lift to go to the room and in the room when you arrive there are fruits like oranges and dates etc and in the room the cart was very nice with also a bathroom then we We have a meeting room and a business center with full computer and breakfast is very good as well with a variety of different juices and variety proposed.There is also a spa and a swimming pool available for customers but you need to go to the building to do everything is written on a paper that is in the room and the hotel also has clean toilet

Pluses: Lakeside location with great views from the public areas. Close to the airport with quick and efficient transfers. Decent meeting rooms and conference facilities. Food is OK although not outstanding for the price. Mostly friendly and helpful staff. Minuses: Being 5 star is more than just listing the facilities. Patchy levels of service with reasonable requests being met with unhelpfulness. Some of the decor, fittings and furniture is very poorly maintained. No alcohol served in the hotel or anywhere around, apparently because the entire area was or is owned by the Saudis.

Le Chambre Bleue was an excellent bed and breakfast located just outside of the Northwestward edge of the Tunis Medina. The owner and his wife were just so incredibly kind to us and really made us feel as part of their family during our stay. Any issues were handled with hast and they were so helpful arranging transportation for us. Beer and wine was available for purchase as well as free bottle water! Will recommend Le Chambre Bleue to our Friends! Breakfast may have been the highlight though, every morning being a little different than the previous. Homemade jams and bread were a highlight!

Not only if the location superb, literally at the entrance to the Medina where shops and food vendors are steps away, but it’s also such a pretty and unique hotel. The decor is gorgeous and the views overlooking the Medina square is great for people watching. Service is great as well! The staff is very helpful. Everything felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this unique stay while in Tunis!

In Tunis for one night, our manager reserved us to the diplomat.. and what error!!! This pseudo 4 stars is 15 minutes from Carthage Airport. Vesty decor, smell of cracked walls ...a hotel over time. The rooms are a valid copy of the hall and the rest of the hotel, with a 70's brine where everything is refreshed, used...Even the TV channels were in fashion.. analogical!! The only positive note, the kindness of the staff who prepared a late dinner despite the closure of the rest.

What a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful Art Deco Building right in the centre with easy access to the Medina, shops, restaurants, railway, etc. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly from the Reception to the dining room staff and housekeeping. On arrival we were allocated a room on the lst floor at the rear of the building. There was a small block of flats not far from the hotel building where unfortunately there was a dog that barked a lot of the time which included late into the night and very early morning. It appeared to be left out on the balcony. I don't know what the hotel can do about this but it is a problem. The next day we were given a room on the 3rd floor at the front of the building. So thank you to the gentleman at reception who arranged this. It was perfect, no noise and like the first room was of a decent size and comfortable. The breakfast spread was great with hot and cold dishes and a lovely selection of cheeses, breads, pastries and much much more. A true feast. A well deserved Excellent rating (despite the barking dog) and we will definitely stay again.

First sisters trip to Tunisia, the overall experience was really good. It makes a difference to where you stay and the people you interact with. People in Tunis are really nice, polite and helpful. Our First experience was with Dar El Jeld. We felt so welcomed by the staff. I would like to personally thank few of the staff. Emily for being really accommodating, always has a smile on her face, very helpful and informative. Adul Kadir, Firouz and Yousuf, the security guys, they helped us when we needed to go anywhere, at times they went with us so we did not get lost and Arslan, he was the driver for the hotel. He went out of his way to accommodate to our needs. Made the children comfortable to a point they considered him family and referred to Dar El Jeld as home. Lastly the receptionist in the spa (forgot her name) she was amazing. They are all truely an asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place. In the heart of Madina with the market right next to the hotel. We felt very safe at all times. Rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean, scenic view from rooftop. You just can't go wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel for a night, and I warn you, nothing is recommendable, except that dinner can be acceptable, not even extraordinary. For the rest, it is horrible: very little receptionist and who jokes with his pot while I was talking with him, very loaded street side room without double glass( I let you imagine the noise) And cerezes on the cake already infected nearby with a night box that, from 22 or 23h, makes all the walls of the room vibrate up to at least 2h of the morning. I have not closed the eye of the night. For the price you are requesting, you will find much better elsewhere.

This hotel is located in the center of Tunisia and is an old hotel. As soon as I entered the hotel, I saw the big boss of the hotel supervising the work at the front desk. The boss also walked back and forth and helped with the management of the hotel. This was very impressive. The boss is polite and warm. I booked a suite this time and it was very clean and comfortable. The most unique thing is that there is a stool in the bathtub. This is specially arranged for the elderly or travelers with limited mobility. This is very thoughtful and deserves praise. It was very peaceful to sleep at night. The suite has a balcony with city views. The room includes meals, and the food is local specialties and delicious. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Tunisia.

I absolutely loved this place. The location is perfect, in the charming streets of the Medina but out of the hubbub. The place itself is stunning - I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel - and I was warmly looked after by Munir and the rest of the staff from the moment I arrived. Everyone was chilled and interesting, and respected the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel. I'm sure I'll be back, and in the meantime, am glad to recommend this as highly as I can. Thank you Munir and everyone!
