|3.54km from city centerNice hotel, spacious bed rooms with mini fridge. Clean and well presented throughout. Great breakfast buffet with hot and cold options. Kettles are free to borrow for the bedroom. Beds were comfortable and sockets were numerous. The location is great with a short stroll to the beach (200 yds). The bus station is near enough to walk to with cases to catch the airport bus. Bars and restaurants are plentiful in the immediate area. Tourist attractions are also close. Buses to travel to the old town stops 200 yds away and it’s cheap, regular and easy to use. Pay on the bus with a credit card. It is possible to explore further afield as public transport buses are available to travel all over the island. Our holiday was enhanced by advice and guidance from the hotel reception staff especially Mahy and Natalia. Their language skills enabled us to decide on where to go, how to get there and they gave us an insight into the local culture. They explained things to us that we didn’t understand. (English speakers were few and far between in resort. )Their help was invaluable and we were grateful for their time and patience. The hotel only has only Spanish speaking channels on TV . No BBC news, no subtitles, no World news or Euro sport. We were out most of the time so it wasn’t a major issue but it would have been nice for some downtime. The view from 505 was next doors living room so it felt intrusive if we had the blinds down. However this wouldn’t put me off booking this delightful hotel again.

The hotel is a very comfortable apartment and if there is something that is missing, please ask in the reception that you will be satisfied. Do not look for the perfect details, those you find in a 5-star, but believe me for the rest, it's worth a 5-star. The only sunset just in front with a different but charming view every day. We'll surely return. Thank you for your kindness.

The bus on the island is very developed. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is on the left. A large supermarket, daily necessities, fruit is still very cheap, it is closed at nine o'clock, pay attention in advance, because it is very close to the beach, swimming and sun is also very convenient. The room is very spacious, the two of us have anything to put, the bed is not too narrow, the bathroom is very spacious, and the cleaning is very clean The front desk is very welcoming and will say hello every time you enter or leave the hotel. There are not many types of breakfast, but there are some, fruit and meat, various bread, egg, ham, sausage, coffee juice, it is worth mentioning that there are freshly squeezed juice and yogurt, very good to drink The hotel has two terraces for sunbathing and the scenery is great. |2.27km from city centerThe first room had two single beds shoved together. We asked for a double bed “cama matrimonial” and we’re given a second room that was completely inacceptable. The door was broken, it wouldn’t shut properly, the shower door sealant was half off, the toilet would flush, the sink wouldn’t drain, and the soap dispenser was broken. The front desk arranged for us to have an acceptable room which was an upgrade and completely functional. However it took 2 room changes and when they moved our things they tossed a half bottle of premium red wine. And to be fair, they offered a second bottle of decent wine, but why toss our wine?

|3.38km from city centerThis was a one night stay before picking up the cruise ship Azamara Onward. To get to check-in, you have to go up one storey from ground level by climbing a fancy set of entrance steps. There is a 1970s ”baggage lift” to the rhs, and if you have a disability you can use that, but it has no sides, and moves at a snails pace whilst your finger has to stay on the button. This lack in investment speaks volumes about this hotel. I was given a superior room due to loyalty scheme status, but it was nothing special. The air con was noisy, and the room lacked charging points. The mattress wasn't that great, and the bedding was musty. Dinner in the 23rd floor restaurant was a farce. The restaurant was fairly full with cruise guests on a dinner package that included a buffet and drinks. Rather than allowing us to pay for the same buffet, we were forced to choose from a very limited overpriced restaurant menu. The food was disgusting. The extremely processed food ”burger” was still raw in the middle; the hake was aslso still raw in the middle and both had to be sent back to the kitchen. They couldn't even cook the chips. My travel companion said that breakfast in the morning was even more of a disaster - not enough seats for the guests, nor enough food out. Would I stay here again? Well, I used Marriott points, so it was free. If I was paying for it, I'd want my money back.....

Was clean, bathroom was spoiled by the toilet seat being at an angle and shifted suddenly when sat upon. Rather noisy, but city centre, so it came with the territory. Staff were friendly but fairly casual. My main problem was I initially booked for one night, as I had the offer of a room attached to the hospital, but I didn't know when that would be available to me. I explained the situation in my somewhat broken Spanish, and was offered another couple of nights at the hotel. I agreed to one more night, and paid for it. However a couple of hours later (and a couple of hours after hotel check out time) I was contacted by the hospital and offered a room, which was perfect for me. I told Hotel Valencia what had happened, and I would be checking out immediately. I'd expected a refund or at least a part refund as I hadn't stayed for the second night, although the room had been serviced that morning (still with the toilet seat from hell!) But no, no offer of a refund as a sign of goodwill just a casual goodbye. I realise technically they were within their rights to keep my payment but I was disappointed that they didn't waive my bill in view of my very stressful circumstances. Very disappointed at their attitude.

|1.9km from city centerFrom the moment we enquired at booking the hostel for our large group we had great service, and this continued as we planned our trip and then visited for 5 nights in May 22. Firstly the hostel is beautiful, homely, comfortable, clean and better than any hostel I have seen before. It is a bus ride away from the city with its sanding beaches of Las Canteras, restaurants and shops but also accessible to the mountains, volcano and other interesting places. What made this place extra special were its hosts, Fernando, Andres and Korneel. They were welcoming, approachable and helpful, just fantastic! This was a work trip, however as individuals we are all excited about returning to the hostel with our families and friends in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay.

|3.15km from city centerThis is a great hostel. It actually felt like a hotel and was really nicely and uniquely decorated. The bed was huge - easily a Kingsize and very comfortable. The window panes were thin and so you could hear noise in the streets quite loudly so if you’re sensitive to this, pack earplugs. We had a room with a bathroom in it. I’m reality this was one large room with a toilet, shower and sink and a bamboo “screen” separating those and the bed. That was a little odd as it meant you obviously had no privacy really, but there is another communal loo that can be used. The price of the room for one night was €68 which we felt was a great price for the room. The hostel is really central and you can walk to the beach within a matter of minutes.

The pros are the cleaning of the place and they offer you a kitchen per floor for if you need to use the basics, in addition at reception they were quite sympathetic, which is always a plus; the opposite ...the rooms are quite small and, above all, They have no own bathroom, so you have to be watching and listening to see if other customers have gone to the bathroom and hold on and wait for them to finish, which is quite uncomfortable. But overall, the experience was quite good for what I was looking for in my express trip.

No AC just a fan that’s a bit tired. And the view from the frosted window is a bit depressing. Tv is just Spanish tv. Staff are very friendly and most speak good English. Good for a short stay but I wouldn’t recommend for more than a few nights. Didn’t try the breakfast (reasonably priced) and the bar is only open for that. There are other bars nearby open till small hours though. Fairly safe area but not the prettiest. A 1 min walk to either beach and lots of restaurants. No water produced in the rooms or fridges.

There are positives and negatives: Positives: ＞ Polite, knowledgeable and friendly reception team available 24/7. ＞ Clean room and common areas ＞ Cleaners in alternate days, (albeit early) - so we put the ”Do not Disturb”notice on the door. ＞ Large, comfortable bed ＞ Excellent shower, plenty of hot water. ＞ Air conditioning (but we did not need to use it). ＞ Good kitchen facilities, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Some rooms i believe have been renovated but mine room 103 was a bit jaded in the kitchen and mixed tiles were used in the bathroom. The location is great for cafes and snack bars, a long walkway straight outside.
My room had a small balcony where you could hang washing, there are 2 laundrettes just a few yards away.
You can just see the sea from the balcony which is moments away. There is a very wide promenade for about a mile along the broad beach.
The kitchen had two sets of plates, cups and bowls and cutlery. The hotplate is modern and heats up extremely quickly. There is a good sized fridge but mine was dripping onto the floor as it was iced up.
The receptionist is nice but only speaks Spanish but was able to help me with my taxi back to the Airport.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 nights there and would stay there again. There is some street noise during the night especially on Friday. There is a wall mounted colour TV in front of the two single beds.

The bus terminal in Santa Canaryna is also about 5 minutes walk, so it is also convenient to go to Maspalomas and Mogan on a day trip. El Corte Ingles is also about 10 minutes walk and if you walk along the coast for about 30 minutes, you can also go to Arina shopping mall. Anyway, a convenient hotel. |3.22km from city centerDecent enough hotel however there are a few things that need to be changed as it is definitely not a 4 star. The swimming pool is not clean and needs to be properly maintained as birds use it for bathing and the roof top needs to be washed properly as there is bird poo where you need to walk. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly and only blew about the already hot air in the room. The mini bar fridge doesn’t work properly, anything in it is warm. The safe didn’t work so we weren’t able to put any valuables in it. It was not explained to us on arrival that sheets and towels would only be changed on request, this needs to be explained to guests on arrival if this is to be the case. The hotel is also very noisy and echoey. You can hear conversations from one end of the corridor to another and doors closing early in the morning are very loud, not great for sleeping past the beginning of the breakfast period at 7AM! Noise is also a problem if you have people above you, the constant shifting of furniture from the floor above was very irritating. Overall we had a decent stay in the hotel but these issues should be rectified as to say this is a 4 star hotel is misleading.

|3.04km from city centerFabulous hotel, cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location, just one block from santa Catalina park, over looking the port and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are stunning and very well appointed, lovely big showers, plenty of hanging space etc. The only slight improvement that could be made is the air conditioning, it's not the greatest and my particular room was particularly warm but reception did give me an extra card so I could leave the electricity on when I left the room and this helped a lot, it took about 24 hours but eventually the temperature came down sufficiently. The roof top bar has some stunning views and is a great place to relax with the drink, the bar staff are great, helpful and friendly an make a pretty good mojito too. The roof top solarium on the other side of the roof could do with a little improvement in terms of furniture but the view is still great and the little pool is a great place to cool your feet after a busy day sight seeing. Breakfast is of very good quality, small selection of hot items but lots of fruit, pastries, cereals, juices etc etc, again the staff here are all friendly and helpful, as they are on reception too. This is a city center hotel and there is no view from many of the windows, mine overlooked a neighbouring apartment block (only a few feet away across a slim courtyard) some look out into an internal courtyard, but the staff, the location and the size and quality of the rooms definitely make up for this and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great base to explore this beautiful island.

|3.31km from city centerModern hotel set on a side street just 100m from the excellent beach & promenade. We stated 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The room was large with very nice bathroom and included tea/coffee facilities, air con and safe. The double bed was two large singles together which is now unfortunately more common throughout Europe but we loved the crisp white cotton sheets and the two different types of pillow. Our room was on the 5th floor to the front over looking the street but we had minimal noise. The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas and we had fresh towels each day. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with modern sun loungers available. Breakfast was sufficient with an acceptable level of choice but I would have liked the three hot choices to be cooked more often as they can sit in a hot tray for a prolonged period. All of the staff were excellent in manner and efficiency. The new shopping centre at the end of the promenade is within walking distance and there is a second shopping centre available 1000m at the opposite end of the hotel street from the beach where the cruise liners dock. This a great value hotel in an outstanding location with fantastic access to the promenade (flat location) and beach, highly recommended for a winter break, we shall return.

|2.92km from city centerSuperb central location by the cathedral so easy access to the local centre of town, shops restaurants etc. For travel it’s also easy to flag down taxi cabs. Suites 1478 is an old building beautifully renovated for the better healed traveller. However we found the rooms odour over powering, ambiance dark and depressing. Layout and supplies were adequate with underground car park access nearby. No English channels on tv ! Internet was pretty much NO GO!! Advised to try the Cathedral cafe supply 🤷♀️ but still no access. Even moved rooms as an essential these days and still no reliable connection. Hotel said it was ‘ being fixed next week when we complained but I think an ongoing issue as electrically /internet has a major flaw. Breakfast display was good but nothing covered, and no freshly cooked food especially eggs- eggs cooked at 8 am if not taken we’re still there at 10. One major dislike was the fact the breakfast was open to locals and visitors so often busy and hence lost the cosy feel and often we felt intruding.🤔 Staff were pleasant and helpful but sure to attend to outside guests first we noted.

Yes, price is good and to it's location, it is close to shopping centre, restaurants and supermarkets. Staff are helpful. Buffet breakfast is good. Breakfast restaurant is on the top level of this hotel, we can enjoy stunning ocean view and sunlight while having breakfast. It is bonus. However, a minor thing I like to share is during busy morning especially when restaurant is full house, it always running out of coffee cups, juice glasses as well as cereal bowls. I cannot have to wait a long while for these 3 times from my 5 days breakfast. Maybe hotel can put some signage to suggest guests be eco-friendly minded to re-use glass, cup and bowl when refill. As I have seen some have 5 -6 cups and glass on a table. Bed is comfortable, room is clean with basic things you need. Yes, no electric kettle, no slippers as standard 3 stars hotel do. So, I have no complaint. There has no more noise from constructions, as this is my concern after reading other travelers comments in the pass. So I think all is done. Hotel locates next to taxi, bus station but not close to beach area. It's no problem to me for this winter travel. I am very happy for all. Definitely recommend it to others.

The terrace was nice but no cushions as featured in pictures. There are very few UK reviews despite the hotel being featured in TUI, so hope this info answered some of the questions we had, The breakfast included was in the park below in a cafe . It was basic to say the least , although nice. A coffee, a glass of orange, a piece of fruit and croissant. There is some photos on trip advisor of breakfast but these are out of date and the cafe providing breakfast has now changed. Water temp in shower is changeable. No English speaking TV at all not even BBC world news. No English/ black tea in rooms so take some tea bags if you enjoy a cup. Wi fi good and air conditioning. The location is what makes the hotel, alongside clean and secure accommodation. Don’t expect the usual hotel it does not have a reception. The entrance is a back street but don’t be put off. Our room was quiet but on the 3rd floor. Las Palmas itself is nice for maybe 3 or 4 days. We stayed 7 and it was too long. A plus is there is a hop on hop off bus in the square about 50 m away that you can get to Veguetta. There is lots of restaurants in the square with nice quality food and good value drinks. If your turn right out of entrance and next left you will find a selection of nice tapa bars within 50 meters. beach a short distance too and a nice walk from one end to the other. The cruise port can be seen from park view terraces and provided an ever changing view of cruise ships

The problem is privacy in the bathroom and the main bedroom is not there, as the bathroom has a window and the room a window that gives on a air drum where everything is back (I don't go specifically). The second problem is the way you are located, trafficked, and with two backs of cooking from their respective restaurants that of course the different smells you will find them often and willingly in your room almost all day.

My room had views of the docks, the restaurant on the 23rd floor had incredible views and impeccable service. The swimming pool on the 25th floor was nice, just right for a little dip. Thank you Elizabeth who checked me in, I walked in stressed and left refreshed and happy. Your English is excellent and your kindness was much appreciated. A good haircut helped too, there are many salons and massage places in walking distance. I enjoyed sitting at a few sidewalk cafes, walking around and window shopping. The beach was a an eight minute walk and the dock was a three minute walk. Thank you to Manuel who checked me out and helped me with my luggage. I highly recommend this hotel.
