Bellefu itself is not big, we drive, first stop, check in, change the parking card when going out; hotel space is large, no washing and slippers. Not far from the perimeter is the Belle lion and the old city wall. The bed is large and there is a sofa bed that can be used by a family. For the Chinese, breakfast is quite normal and there are not many varieties.

This is a good hotel for the city. Rooms are comfy and clean, housekeeping staff lovely, and breakfast plenty. Not the best Ibis Styles I've been in, but quite good for Belfort (the Novotel there is a bit below average too). My only reservation is the male staff at the reception, who are a bit stiff and could do with a bit more warmth. But in these difficult times, everyone was trying their best to make us feel homely, which was great.

We were booked into a double room, even after asking for a twin bedded room. The double room had a good sized shower room which would have been ideal, but the double bed not. I have spinal issues need my own bed. We were moved to another room, the beds were fantastic, however, the shower room was made for a very tiny person. Sitting on the loo, one had to be careful how you got up. I banged my cheek, the sink was that close. The room was clean and well presented. Shower room let it down. We booked breakfast. The first morning it was lovely as it was in the dining room and set out with white table linen. The second morning, the buffet was set out but we were instructed to sit in the bar area. This is all very well, but it appeared to be the owners office, he had one table taken up and people were coming and going. If I am paying good money, I feel that I should have been allowed to sit in the DINING ROOM area away from the daily grind of hotel business. The hotel appears to close up at night and people let themselves in and out but the bar and restaurant were closed. Would I stay here again - probably not.

This hotel delivers nothing extra typ the experience. The room was equipped with just one proper towel and a few small ones extra in the wardrobe. However very clean. Beds uncomfortable and the breakfast that they charge 12 euro extra for pp was a true disappointment. I hope,for the hotels sake, that this lack of service was just depending on the current covid situation. Otherwise they need to shape up.
