First, after a CRAZY hotel experience with another hotel chain, Tammy from the Fairfield Inn was SUPER helpful at getting me a room in this establishment for a REASONABLE price. She reached out to me, and offered to assist me when the entire area was booked solid. I was supposed to stay at this location from March 13-15 when the Covid-19 hit and shut everything down. The hotel cancelled ALL THREE ROOMS that I had reserved with less than 24 hours notice without a single hesitation and they waved their cancellation fee. Usually, per their cancellation notice, I should have been charged for EACH room for at least one night. Which I completely understood. However, they were so kind and accommodating, that I am CERTAINLY going to give them my business should I require accommodations in Lancaster in the future. Thank you Fairfield Inn!

Breakfast can be full, no meat. I don't have an extra bed, so I don't know if I can have an extra bed There is a large parking lot, close to the college and the train station. All aspects are good. The only downside is that the air conditioning sound is too loud, the room is not very soundproof, and the sound of the ice machine is really noisy.

I was thoroughly impressed with the room. We requested a room with king bed. The website listed this as a 2 star hotel..so I wasnt expecting luxury. First the bed. It was possibly one of the best beds I've ever slept in at a hotel. Pretty sure it has memory foam on top. Very nice. Firm enough....and super comfy. The pillows were definitely upgraded pillows. A couple nights ago my pillows were dollar general specials...these are great pillows. Nice fridge and microwave. The bathroom has been recently upgraded. Granite counters and neat sink. New tile floor. Very nice. Flat-screen TV is mounted on wall..higher..easy to see from bed vs the ones on a stand (upgrade in my opinion). Large spacious room with a loveseat and a large desk. Staff were friendly and kind upon arrival. I HONESTLY can't think of anything negative to write. Kudos to owners and management for job well done.

Recently we stayed in a 2 Queen Bed Suite at Candlewood Suites in Lancaster PA on S. Tree Dr. The room was quite large, simply furnished but had a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and two large comfortable beds. (There was no King Suite available that day.) There was no luggage rack. Everything in the room was clean and neat but the bathroom needed some detailed cleaning. Housekeeping services everywhere need to go into the bathroom and close the door. Often the back of the bathroom door has goop and dirt on it - this one did. The towels were thick and newish though. The Candlewood concept requires that the traveler take care of the room and ask for no room service - making the bed and changing towels only by going down to the front desk for clean towels. We stayed only one night which was fine but I don't like the idea of cleaning up a room or changing the towels myself while on extended vacation - that's why I am on vacation. Nevertheless - a family with kids could enjoy a big room and the space to cook a few meals. Candlewood seems to have many things that can be borrowed for a family including games, cooking utensils, and an outside grill. The Candlewood does not provide breakfast which is OK if guests are staying for awhile and can bring groceries - but not so convenient for those needing to get on the road quickly after a one-night stay. It's a good deal if this is what you are looking for but probably not for us.

I stayed one night with my girlfriend and another friend while attending an event in nearby Manheim. The room was clean and well made-up (with adequate towels, pillows, soap, etc.), and it smelled good. I interacted with 3 different front desk people (had to stop back because I had left something in the room) all were as friendly and helpful as you could want. The room had a nice extra rolling table that I was able to roll between the two beds to play games on. There was still room for improvement. The refrigerator was pretty loud (sounded like a dishwasher); the smoke detector appeared to be a museum piece (they need to be replaced every 10 years); and the walls within the room were very thin (you could hear all bathroom sounds). This review is within the context of a budget hotel, and within that context the room was excellent. I'd happily stay there again.

This is a very small property surrounded by new, modern high rise motels. I have no idea how many rooms they have, but I counted only about 30 very tight parking spaces. It seems like a hold out from the past. It was not modern, but it wasn't dated either. We weren't allowed in the small lobby, but were given our key (yes, an actual key) through a drive up window. There were several staff members sitting around at our check in time, about 6 PM, but after that I never saw anyone on staff in our 2 night stay. Check out was just drop your key in a mailbox. On the very positive side - our room was big. There was about 6 feet between a love seat and the comfortable beds. There was also a nice desk with a very comfortable swivel chair. The TV had over 170 channels. The room was very clean and except for some noise from Rt. 30, all was fairly quiet. The bathroom was small, but adequate. A big sink was separate from the room with the toilet (which seemed to be lower than normal) and tub/shower. The hot water took a little while to arrive, but was plentiful when it did, with good pressure. One other very big plus was nice, thick bath towels. They were great. Not at all like the paper thin, slightly bigger than a hand towel that some places have. It was a very nice place to stay - good location close to everything. It is right across the street from Dutch Wonderland. There are a lot of nice places to stay in Lancaster and this one is worthy of you consideration.

My husband and I fell in love with the Inn At Twin Linden. The moment we walked in the front door we felt at home. The Palladium Suite.... omg the view is fantastic!!! We both have hectic lives, we just sat on the couch looking out at the farmland, horse and buggies riding the roads, the trees swaying... we were above it all in awe. From the inside to the outside, the decor, the feel and especially the smells that come out of Laurie’s kitchen are amazing! A 3 course breakfast that has topped our list of best food. My husband and I are so happy that we have found our anniversary “spot” to share together. We will definitely be back every September to celebrate! Thank you for making us feel like we were in a home away from home! P.S.... sorry for the half eaten yogurt parfait pic. We dug in when every plate arrived to our table. By the time my husband said, did you take a pic?, well, this was my pic. YUM!

This was one of the most enjoyable stays at a hotel that we've had in a long time. This property has just been remodeled and has very easy access to the highway. The employees that we came in contact with were AMAZING, to say the least. Check-in was painless with the help of Dawn and Megan. We had lots of laughs with Jessica and JoAnn, who by the way, makes GREAT COFFEE !!! The free breakfast was made extra special, because of Missy and especially Keyz, who was always there making sure everything was clean, stocked and was always smiling and up for joking around. The beds were like sinking into a cloud. We had one minor hiccup, but it was handled right then. Rose Shaffer, GM, you should be very proud. We will definitely see you when we come back !!!!

We were in town for a show at Sight and Sound, and decided to spend the night. I did a lot of searching and found this was very close to the theater. I got a great deal online and was not disappointed. We checked in with a very friendly staff, who were very informative. Once in the room, we were impressed. The room was very clean, from the beds to the bathroom. There is a large TV, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and more. We had a room with two queen sized beds, that were very comfy. Pillows were small, but were comfy nonetheless. Shower was nice, and water temp was great. Parking is plenty. Checkout was easy too, again, very courteous staff. They do have free breakfast, but passed on that as we planned on a local restaurant to eat at. If in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I booked a 2-nght stay just as a getaway. The property is very nice but with construction on the road at the entrance we initially had a hard time finding our way into the grounds. Problem solved with a few quick turnarounds. Arriving after posted check-in we were told our room was not ready at the time. A few minutes later it is was ready and we were escorted by the room manager. Initially, I was a bit disappointed in the size of the room ( Parlor Suite ) which I had expected to be larger based on the website pictures. Also there was a problem with the room key card which would not activate after several attempts and re issuances by the manager. While waiting for the manager to return with another key I looked into the mini fridge and it had food in it from the previous occupants. OK...did not get a good feeling about the attention to cleaning in this room. We were asked to wait until someone could look into the housekeeping issue. I then suggested that another comparable room would be a better idea as I was not feeling comfortable with the whole situation. The room manager came thru and escorted us to a beautiful room on the other side of the property. Spacious and elegant. I had read reviews prior to our visit indicating the walls were paper thin and we were witness to this on the second night of our stay when a group of fellows next door started a loud party at 9 and continued until at 1 AM my husband called the front desk to ask them to tell our neighbors to please quiet it down. All in all the property is very nice. Restaurant Te is permanently closed and Osteria Avanti has a limited menu. We had dinner at Osteria Avanti and it was very good. Breakfast was a grab and go bag consisting of a muffin, yogurt, tangerine and orange juice. Same both days of our stay. Coffee was available in the reception area. One note...although our room was very nice, management should really pay more attention to the small things in each room such as working table lamps, very dusty floor mouldings, lamp shades and end tables. I know Covid-19 has made it difficult to hire more housekeeping, but a once a week go thru would help a lot. All things aside, the The Inn at Leola has an excellent staff ...very friendly and outgoing. I would try the property again perhaps in the Summer when everything is blooming and the pool is open.

We stayed for two nights, July 24-26. The hotel itself is newly renovated; everything is new and shiny. What made our stay remarkable was the staff, from Natalie and Steve in Housekeeping and Maintenance (due to a running toilet that was fixed promptly) to the entire front desk crew. They made our stay enjoyable! Ray and the others at the front desk have a wonderful sense of humor and pleasantry that is greatly appreciated during these tense times. I highly recommend this Courtyard. My team parents and I look forward to staying here again.

Attending an event in the area, we opted for something different for our stay. The Red Caboose fell into that ‘different’ category and we’re glad we decided to stay. To be clear…I’m a hotel snob somewhat and enjoy a very clean, comfortable and updated place to stay. Upon pulling into the “trailer park full of trains”, we wondered what we might have gotten ourselves into. The exteriors on some of the train cars were in need of refreshing but there is a certain charm to them with their bright colors and vintage markings still emblazoned upon them. We drove around to the front building that houses the lobby and check in: • The walk up to the motel lobby was fun, clean and inviting. Check-in process was a breeze with the kind staff. With a provided treasure map (train lot layout) and an ‘X’ marks the spot…we whisk off to see what adventurous car we’d be staying in. • We booked the baggage car, a very large train car. Room #32. We park directly next to our door, walked up onto our deck and peeked inside. Absolutely terrific. Very clean, smelled great and toasty warm on this cold winter day. Upon entering, a double bed and a set of bunk beds greet you. Past the partition, you’ll find a queen bed with a wall mounted tv above the counter space. At the end of your room is a vanity/sink with a bathroom and shower off from that. A mini-fridge was provided, along with a microwave. • After a long day, we flop on the beds and relax to the tv. The beds were decent and we all got a good night’s sleep. Water pressure in the morning was great and we checked out by 10. Word of advice: tons of fresh towels are located in the vanity outside of the bathroom (along with hair dryers, electric heaters, etc). We didn’t notice this prior. • With the area in which Red Caboose is located…it is a VERY quiet location. I had read somewhere that there is a train line that comes through but I cannot confirm that as I slept too well. • There is a nice petting zoo area for the kids, with 25 cent machines filled with their feed. Goats, pigs, alpacas, miniature horses, etc. • The main motel building is fun and fully stocked with Red Caboose shirts, all sorts of train related souvenirs, snacks and goodies. The Casey Jones Restaurant is also housed within this building, which is also a train car retrofitted in a very nice place to eat. We enjoyed a nice breakfast meal here. • All in all, we’re staying here again when in the area. We travel A LOT throughout the year and regular hotels/motels get mundane. This is a perfect deviation from the ordinary. Yes, there is rust and faded paint on some train exteriors but they’re doing a spectacular job with keeping the upkeep of these 100+ year old trains alive. Not quite reading and book your stay…try something new!

I stayed here for a girls weekend with three other people and it was a nice small motel. If you are looking for something fancy you won't find it here. This place is very close to sights, restaurants and activities. It was a quiet place to stay. The rooms were clean. The only complaint I have is we never had anyone come to clean. Let me talk about the reason for choosing this hotel, because the time for the Chinese long-distance bus to return from New York to Washington Chinatown is very late. An exceptional hotel that well-represents the luxury MO brand. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, if a bit annoyingly lack a traditional desk/workspace. Though not the best location for in-city activities and dining, I personally like being a bit apart from the hustle and bustle - and it's still an east walk to the Mall, Smithsonians and monuments. Great views from the waterfront side, including planes landing into DCA. An excellent club lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff, from check-in to the concierge and housekeeping. Swampoodle / Judiciary Square
We arrived at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington on the afternoon of October 2 and checked into the room. We found that the actual room and the Ctrip official website's pictures and text were inconsistent. First of all, the intuitive feeling is that this room does not have the 26 claimed by Ctrip. -30 square meters, should be between 20-25 square meters. Secondly, whether it is a picture or a text on the Ctrip promotion page clearly indicates that there is a sofa in the room, but it does not actually exist. We didn't dwell on whether there was a sofa in the end, but that the type of room we actually stayed in was significantly lower than the one booked. When we called Ctrip to express their doubts, Ctrip's reply to us was that after checking with the hotel, the room was 26 square meters, and the sofa room type was not available. At the same time, we acknowledged that there was a problem with the Ctrip official website's promotional materials and stated that we would use financial compensation To solve the problem. When there was a problem with the Key West Hotel in the previous trip, we considered that it was the first time that the trip had a problem, and that Ctrip's customer service staff was still working hard at that time, so we also accepted Ctrip's compensation of 380 yuan for us. However, Ctrip probably mistakenly thought that no matter what the problem was, they would buy it out to cover up their problems. Therefore, I explicitly told the customer service that in view of Ctrip's false publicity on the official website, we no longer accept any financial compensation. The customer service told us that their hourly leader would call us in an hour. Unexpectedly, the purpose of the "leader" calling us was to upgrade the financial compensation to 500. I may think that this time 380 can't buy it, 500 is always okay. I really didn't see the money open to such an extent and felt the insult from Ctrip. This time in the United States, Ctrip broke our mood for several days. I must leave the original facts in the comments, and hope that latecomers will be more vigilant.

Foggy Bottom
Good location, next to the University of Washington, near the foggy valley station. My room was along the street and the air conditioner in the window was cool. I didn't open it at night. When I was not able to sleep well, I was still screaming by the air conditioners in other rooms. The facilities are relatively new and better. The pothole was mistakenly drunk a small bottle of water 5.5 knife, check out was almost misplaced parking fee of 60 knives, pay attention to check. What I don't understand is that I have mentioned that the house price for three months is as high as 1,700, and the site is set to be more than 1,100. It seems that I have already booked a loss, and the price difference is nearly 50%. I feel that Ctrip’s pricing strategy has problems.

Downtown Washington
On the street, take the Metro Line 7 from Reagan Airport to the hotel, and take the subway to the right for a few steps to the hotel. You don't have to cross the road. The hotel is on the subway and it is super convenient. Stayed there for 4 nights, the room was small, two beds, each bed is 1 meter wide and relatively small. No breakfast, there is a coffee shop on the second floor, free coffee, fruit and snacks for two days, coffee and hot tea bags for two days.       Less than ten minutes from the White House, turn right at the White House to Museum Street. The subway and road traffic are very convenient and suitable for free travel.        It is inconvenient to eat, there is no supermarket nearby, no fruit bread and vegetables can be bought, and the hotel has a Western restaurant. It is a kind of restaurant. Because I didn't like Western food, I didn't go in and eat. There was a McDonald's and a fast food restaurant like Subway, Starbucks, etc., which were all kinds of food that I had to eat once. If you want to eat Chinese food, you can take the subway blue line and pour the orange line to Chinatown. The Chinese food is more expensive. The tax and tip of a bowl of burdock are about 20 dollars, about 130 yuan a bowl. Figures 4 and 5 are second floor cafes

Mt. Vernon Square / Convention Center
The hotel location is good, just a few steps away is the yellow line bus to Georgetown and Union Station. Breakfast is a classic western food, everything you need. Free hot drinks, apples and biscuits in the lobby. Apple hot drinks are delicious. The rooms are clean and tidy, in short, the price is super high. There is a problem with parking fees for self-driving tours, car rental is not necessary, and buses are still very convenient.

The Mall
Good location, not far from the main attractions, also next to the subway station. There is a Market 2 Market on the negative floor of the subway station. The 7.5-9 pounds buffet is very cost-effective and closes at 17:00. It's not the Food Court with the promotional sign, it's inside the Reagan Trade Center, it's farther away and needs security. When I went there, I caught up with the baseball team to celebrate the road closure around the parade, and the next day, a long-distance running event closed the road for a few hours. They were all police cars. The lobby bar and restaurant are almost empty during the day and are full every night. The overall feeling is magnificent, the room is very good, that is, the bathroom is too big and almost as big as the bedroom, there are free Evian and slippers and water printed with Trump. The service staff was also very welcoming. You can climb the Bell Tower for free and watch from Starbucks.

The Mall
Located in the heart of Washington, Washington's main attractions are within walking distance, and the White House is just five minutes away. The Ministry of Finance is next to it. The hotel is magnificent. It is my most satisfying hotel in the US. The front desk service is good. The room is also clean. However, it should be noted that Laomei has now learned the tricks of Chinese people. When I left, I paid the deposit. A middle-aged man told me in English that I had a breakfast. I immediately answered: never. He added, okay, I will check it again. I said, you have to be sure. He even smiled and said to me, there is no. This is not too serious. do not understand the meaning.

West End
American breakfast, breakfast is not included in the room rate, additional breakfast fee of $ 28 will be charged. The rooms are spacious and well located. Attentive and meticulous service. We just arrived that night and the hotel restaurant was closed. We were going to eat outside. The waiter was very helpful in guiding us to the location. Finally the driver asked us to take us there. They were afraid we would not find it. I do n’t know if I can add an extra bed, because we are two people, suitable for children, the hotel is located in the city center, not far from the attractions.

Downtown Washington
Good location, big room, a bit old fashion, service is decent and the bedding is clean. The disadvantage is that the faucet in the bathtub is a bit malfunctioning. When using the shower, the faucet below leaks, and the shower water is relatively small. The United States is a tipping country. Tipping according to regulations is one of the guarantees of service quality. On the last day, I gave 5 knives when I checked my luggage. An uncle with an Asian face brought my luggage to the door with a smile. A deposit of $ 50 a day will be charged upon check-in and will be refunded automatically after check-out. Don't worry.

No breakfast, the bar on the first floor of the hotel tastes good, but it is very expensive The hotel's service brother, super nice, recommended us the hotel. Later, we met him again in the downstair bar. He also ran over to ask if we had to eat, how the taste was. The picture is the type of room my parents live in. It feels a bit small, and the bathroom behind the bed is
