The breakfast was very poor though in my opinion and compared to holiday inn breakfasts in the uk. Paper plates, very few actual tables. The egg was very dried up and not replenished.

|13.18km from city centerMy family have been regular visitors to the amazing WhiteOaks Resort and Spa now for thd over 10 years, and recently stayed there several times in June, July and for four nights in August 2022. What an amazing hotel. We are always greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout our stay. When I mentioned it was my wife's birthday (or anniversary), Jeremy at the front desk made sure to deliver complimentary glasses of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries to our room. Jeremy as well as Nicole always ensure we get our favourite room overlooking the beautiful garden. Thanks Jeremy for always greeting us with a smile and taking good care of us. And we are always greated so warmly by Michael and the other doormen upon arrival as soon as we pull up to the entrance. Michael is always giving us great suggestions about places to visit and things to do whenever we arrive. The rooms are fantastic. Clean, modern, and have a fantastic view. There's nothing we can complain about this hotel. The services at WhiteOaks are second to none! A wonderful indoor pool, spa, gym, indoor tennis courts, squash, spinning classes, yoga, child minding, etc. All of the facilities were clean and modern. The restaurant located inside the hotel, Play, Liv, were delicious. We always dine here for breakfast lunch and dinner. If you want a great place to stay in Niagara on the lake, consider WhiteOaks. We love it and are repeat customers year after year! It truly is our second home! Anthony

Buy bread at the bakery nearby, and the hotel can help heat it. The spa must be booked four weeks in advance, otherwise the service will not be mentioned. It is suggested that Ctrip can remind guests to provide these services to avoid wasting such a good hotel project.

|0.53km from city centerUnfortunately, this hotel has really gone down hill. It’s been 5 years since I’ve been there, but in that time - many things have fallen. They still advertise on the site for the infinity pool and hot springs - spoiler alert- it hasn’t been in service since COVID, and the pool needs a major clean. We booked spa services for day of arrival and were told we would be able to get into our room before hand- didn’t happen. So, we changed into our bathing suits to go to the hot springs- didn’t happen. So, we went to the spa to hang out there. It’s a room, with couches and four doors for services. The steam room is used as storage for laundry. The services themselves were amazing. We did get into our room after our services, and it was shocking how dirty the windows were, the blinds were ripped and we could hear absolutely everything in the room above us. We called to make resos for dinner and were told we could only go at 6pm because they were busy and didn’t have enough staff in the kitchen. When we arrived there were only 4 tables seated. And, then we were told there were no more mussels avail. What we did eat, was very good. At 7:30am the next day we went downstairs for coffee, and nothing was prepared - so we walked to Starbucks. They did have coffee for us when we got back. It just appears that there seems to be a lack of care for the hotel. Whoever the gardener is should be hired to get the inside of the hotel up to the standard of the flowers. So sad to see a hotel I used to love so much be neglected.

We went with another couple and we were able to enjoy the patio and the living room for socializing. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. Nicky is a very attentive host and does everything to make your visit the best it can be. She serves amazing breakfasts with homemade baked delicacies and is always focused on pleasing her guests. We also enjoyed hearing some of her stories of life in Canada and around the world.

|2.11km from city centerWe enjoyed two very pleasant evenings at the Riverbend Inn. Our room ”Sauvignon Blanc” was very spacious, well-appointed, and clean. The two queen beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The bathtub was deep, the water pressure excellent, and the temperature hot, allowing for a veritable soak every night, with clean and fluffy towels a-plenty. We partook of the complimentary wine in the afternoon and coffee and muffins in the morning. We sat in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard under a blue sky in the morning and used the cement table and benches for a picnic lunch. We walked the waterfront trail to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake and back, learning later that we could have ridden bicycles available to patrons. As we hadn’t booked the Riverbend Inn restaurant in time, we booked a table at Treadwell Cuisine, where we had a fabulous. We understand that a staff shortage affects the tourist industry. Most of the Riverbend staff members we met were friendly, courteous, and helpful. One took us in a golf cart type conveyance for a tasting at nearby Peller Vineyard, and back to retrieve a key that had slipped out of my pocket there. We chatted with a couple who happily return for their annual stay at the Riverbend Inn. If it weren’t so far from California, we might consider such a tradition.

Even more strange is the requirement for personal invoices. Names are hard to tell me how they are special in the three provinces of the East, and the name of the family can only be owned by government agencies and names. However, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan companies that are helpless, can't open the country without a tax number? !

I had a lot of specific requests and many rooms to rent, but Robin went above and beyond to accommodate everyone! She was extremely personable and so easy to work with, Robin, you are an outstanding employee and the Staybridges Suites are extremely fortunate to have you onboard, Congratulations on a job well done. A spacious room, with a fireplace, living room setup , 2 tv’s, jetted tub. It was great being across from the breakfast room. The staff were friendly and helpful. They aren’t entering rooms during your stay so if you need supplies you’ll have to go to the front desk. It’s a 2 floor hotel, no elevator. Restaurant located right beside the hotel. Id stay here again.

Light complimentary breakfast that includes warm hard-boiled eggs (my new favorite), juice, coffee, tea, bagels and breads that the staff toasts for you, fruit. A beautiful backyard garden area for sitting. Rooms well thought through (missing convenient usb ports but I have learned to bring an extension cord). Be warned that you can hear your neighbors and they, you, but it is an inn. I would definitely return.

|13.22km from city centerThis Centre is part of Niagara College, and it's basically a dorm. The location isn't bad, although the building was hard to find. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, and there are coffeeshops and restaurants and an enormous outlet mall with a food court, all within a 5-minute drive. Parking is plentiful and there is a garden area with benches near the Centre. The price is very reasonable for this area in the summer. Our room had a kitchenette. And it all seemed clean, if a bit worn. On the downside, there are no amenities included. There's no business center or computers available, for example. The sound insulation in the building isn't very good. And the vertical slat blinds don't keep the light out in the morning. You can pay for coffee and other drinks and snacks in vending machines on the first floor, if you don't want to walk or drive to a nearby coffeeshop. All in all, this dorm is a great bargain for the NOTL area, in summer at least.
