Good location on metro and bus routes and within walking distance of many sights. Not luxurious but given the cost i wouldn't expect it to be. The apartment (1 bedroom) was clean and spacious enough. All single beds /sofa bed so if you wanted a double this room wouldn't be suitable Balconies not for sitting on as they arec tiny. Oven not usable due to no racks but hob was fine for a short visit. The bathroom was the main problem as a strong stomach was needed to cope with the smell, we had to keep the bathroom door permanently closed tight to avoid it stinking out the whole apartment. Probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend but not awful if you just want a basic place to crash.

My stay in this apartment was fantastic. The place looked very new, was clean and had everything you need. The apartment had 2 lovely rooms an 2 bathrooms. The rooms were at the back of the building far from the street noise, so you can have a quiet sleep. The location is great to, right at the lovely Malasana neighborhood.

I stayed at this hotel again because I was too familiar with the surrounding environment. There are restaurants with Carrefour and Chinese supermarkets. The subway is close to the subway. The facilities are old. Like other European old hotels, the service and sanitation are no problem.

Very good, modern hotel, in a fantastic location in the city. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the local Metro station and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza de España and the beginning of Grand Via. To reach the very Centre of the city (Sol) it's only 20 minutes by foot or you can use the Metro with only one change. We paid direct to the reception for breakfast on one of our 3 mornings and it was well worth the money. A good range of tasty food and drink on offer. The bed was very comfy. The WiFi worked very well. Air con was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.

I recently stayed at One Shot 22 to celebrate my Birthday and my Daughter's Graduation. I rented two premium rooms. The photos of the rooms depicted a wrap around balcony. Upon arrival the A/C did not work. When I attempted to call the front desk no one picked up the phone. After a few failed attempts on trying to reach someone by phone I proceeded to go down to the lobby. The explained to the receptionist that the AC was not working and I attempted to call but no one had answered the phone. The receptionist stated that she heard the phone but was helping someone else so she could not pick up the phone. I was ok with that response. She then advised me that she was would turn on the AC from a master control station at the desk. I expressed my concern that I would not be able to adjust the AC directly from the room. The receptionist then stated to call the front desk if I want the AC adjusted. I believe this was unacceptable. I was exhausted from travelling that day and went to bed hoping I would not have an issue with the AC. The next day I went down to the front desk to express my dissatisfaction with the two premium rooms not having the wrap around balcony depicted in the room pictures. The receptionist argued that there were no such pictures in the room description. I should her copies of my reservations and asked her to go on their website to verify the pictures. Upon the receptionist viewing the images she apologized and stated there was only one room in the hotel with a wrap around balcony. The only reason I booked two premium rooms in this hotel was to be able to sit out on the balcony and relax after a long a day. I asked to speak to a manger. The receptionist stated there was no manger on site but provided with a phone number to the manager. I called and left a message. I went out for the day upon arrive the AC was not working again for the second time. I had to go back down to the lobby for the receptionist to activate the AC. Again, I requested to speak to manager. The receptionist reached out to the manager and left the manager a message to contact me. When the manager contacted me I expressed to her that the ONLY reason I booked the hotel was for the balcony overlooking a small park. Again I was advised they only had one premium room with a wrap around balcony. I alerted the manager that One Shot was misrepresenting the premium rooms by displaying photos of a wrap around balcony. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and stated that she would advise the marketing department of the images displayed. I asked for a discount because I felt I was paying a premium price but not receiving what One Shot portrayed in their Premium room images. I must be honest, the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The bathroom was showing it's age with the wallpaper peeling. My wife had a difficult time putting on her make up with the poor lighting over the vanity. Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. We stayed at the H10 Hotel Puerta de Alcalá at the end of May and middle of June. The hotel was very comfortable and well located. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop deck with great views of Madrid and Retiro Park. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. On a day trip I mistakenly left my camera bag in a taxi. On my return to the hotel later that day, Juan C. at reception helped me begin communications with the taxi company to try to locate the camera bag. For the next few weeks after I had returned home to Canada, Juan diligently followed up and coordinated with the taxi company, organized payment for retrieval of the camera bag then prepared it for shipment to my home in Canada. He went above and beyond the usual service expected at a hotel and I wanted to point out his excellent assistance. Robert S.

This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. Part of a hostel. Bedroom is small with worn out built in robes. There’s ironing board with no iron. Living area is spacious. TV only has Spanish programs. Kitchen has fridge, electric cooktop, washing machine, dishwasher, pots & fry pan, plates/bowls, kitchen utensils. No dishwashing powder for dishwasher, nor washing machine. One problem is there’s no power point in kitchen area for benchtop electrical appliances. For some reason the electrician didn’t connect any power points next to benchtop. We had to use the kettle, toaster & coffee machine at the power point next to the floor. Even the staff couldn’t explain why. Maybe only in suite 306. Staff has to defrost the fridge as it’s slowly building up ice. 3rd night was a bit noisy from nearby till early hours of the morning not sure from nearby neighbourhood or from hostel. No tea/coffee/milk provided. Stayed 3 nights with no housekeeping done. Good location facing road leading to Plaza Mayor. It’s a very busy street. Not very clean with lots of rubbish & homeless people sleeping around the place. Other streets much cleaner & some with beautiful buildings.

Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. The hotel has breakfast, but I didn't eat it inside, but I ate it in a small restaurant next to the hotel. There was an extra bed in the hotel, at least the room was large. ROOMS : very spacious, separate bath, shower, toilet, 2 wash basins, microwave BREAKFAST : fresh orange juice for every table, good range of pastries, bread, meats, eggs, - very good OUTDOOR POOL : 13.5m diameter, good for swimming, ~180cm deep everywhere so not really child friendly, sun blocked after about 6pm, open strictly 10.30am to 8.30pm, plenty of towels and loungers GYM: best you will ever see in a hotel, looks like it was once a thriving sports club with turnstiles but Covid probably killed it - now 4 rooms of every machine you could ever want. Indoor pools were drained - maybe they will be refilled in the autumn when the outside pool closes RESTAURANTS : Taberna La Illustracion is a 10-15 minute walk - run by mother an daughter - delicious food at a great price (€40 for 4 drinks and salad starter + main). Alright is America style restaurant - good, and only place where English was used. Several smaller cafes in the area offering standard 'raciones' - all good. Great hotel for exploring Madrid from.

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.

One of the best hostel I've ever been to. The 8-people shared bedroom was BIG, with beds safely distant. The overall cleanliness of the host was good, the atmosphere was great (with sangria parties going on every night downstairs and Madrid tours every morning) but the best part was the staff: super friendly and ready to help you. The Italian girl working at the reception was lovely! She recommended lots of her favourite restaurants and they were so good. Thank you so much!

What to say about Bergantin? Well, you feel so welcomed , so safe, and you are close to everything, as well it is so nice and cozy. It is true that it can be hard to sleep due to the noise from outside, but if you mind that, then do not choose any hotel in Centre of Madrid. Whomever wants to be in the Centre will find it hard to sleep anywhere so please choose something else instead. This hotel has nice rooms, it is clean, and the staff is JUST AMAZING!!!......amazing. I have been there 3 times this year in 5 months.And last year as well was there. Thanks to Cesar, Kati, Javier and a nice cleaning lady. Cannot wait to come back!!!! I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights and it was nice. Room, hall, bathroom, kitchen are all clean. I did not face any issues during my stay. You will find everything you need in the kitchen they even have free coffee. When you go out, there's food options just few steps away, theres groceries, metro station - Tirzo, coffee shop. The receptionist (Josephine) is very kind and helpful she also plays nice music. They let me leave my luggage after check out so I can have more time to explore the city. Over all this place is very nice no issues at all and very safe.

The location is excellent, a step from the great road and in the beautiful chuca rion, very vivid and joyous. Rooms are simple but very clean, and have everything you need, and staff is very nice, and things to not underestimate have a 24-hour reception and also make you leave your baggage from check-out to departure ... Oh goodness where to start.... After a couple of weeks of traveling we were ending our trip with a night at the AC Hotel near the airport for ease of travel the next morning. We arrived and met Carmen, she is AMAZING! Bottom line when my friend made the reservation she made it for October 30th, not October 29th, and the hotel was full. After some mad typing and serious looking on the computer Carmen found us the very last room in the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, and really comfortable, very sad we were only able to enjoy it for one evening. DON'T USE THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!! So, the next morning, we used the airport shuttle service, OMG! The shuttle driver the next morning if it was on a rating system the star would have to start with a negative. She was unkind, unhelpful, and REALLY RUDE! Be aware when you are using this service you better do your research and know the specific terminal you are flying out of, not the airline, as she will rain hell down on your head. Thank goodness the staff in the hotel was so wonderful, professional, and terrific, couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times this year when flying to / from Madrid airport. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Check in is always a breeze. I think a chap called Ruben dealt with my check in on my most recent visit. He is a credit to the hotel. The airport shuttle bus is easy and quick. Nothing is ever a problem at this hotel. I look forward to returning at the end of September for another stay following my trip to The States.

I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Sweet rooms, bad smell everywhere to the point of giving you arcades, bathroom shared with 7 rooms with mugre (we dare not use it) the door of the room was not closed well... the bed had chinches and the sofas I think they were not clean, summarized a lot of dirt. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. A total tim because we pay for a hostel and gives us is ”pension” for calling it in any way. I would not come back or recommend anyone who would think to spend a night there. To finish we should have a private bathroom and we meet with a griff in The room with good understanding is over the words.
