|0.23km from city centerStayed here as part of the Inca Trail trek. Our room was right above the trains that made a really loud noise all day until late at night. The fumes of the train were coming into our room. It was like the train was IN the room. We asked for a different room but they could only offer us a room in the basement with no windows that smelled like mold. We went out to buy some earplugs but couldn't find them. After reaching out to our trekking guide that we couldn't sleep this way, they could offer us a better room all of sudden: higher up and with double glazed windows: so a lot quieter. Until the next morning. They started inhouse construction at 7.30 am. Drilling, hammering... So no, I would not recommend this place of you're looking for a good night of rest after your trek. (The trains are closer to the hotel now because of a mudslide that happened two months ago. They had to reroute the train station.)

Das Hotel liegt als Ausgangslage perfekt , wir waren selber mit dem Auto unterwegs und konnten so alle Sehenswürdigkeiten super erkunden . Dank des super freundlichen Personals, ins besonderen Jorge der perfekt englisch spricht und sehr sympathisch und zu vorkommend war . Bekamen wir alle Informationen und Tips die wir brauchten . |0.2km from city centerWhat an amazing find in Ollantaytambo! Located down a quiet cobblestone lane less than a 10 minute walk to the ruins, plaza, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was simple but plenty of food for us to start the day with. Jorge is the best host! He treated us as long time friends and was just the friendliest ever and had many recommendations for us. We stayed 2 nights that were split by our Inca trail hike. We were able to just leave our bags in our room and let ourselves back in when we returned. Super easy! He was very flexible again with our checkout as we were doing the Pacamancha lunch nearby and needed our bags stored so we could explore the ruins that morning. We loved the quaintness of Parwa, I would describe it more like a bed and breakfast, and would definitely recommend staying here!

El desayuno es bueno. LO MALO: las toallas de mano las tuvimos q pedir siempre, ya q nos las ponen, el mayor problema es que se escucha demasiado los ruidos del hotel, las puertas de las habitaciones tienen un vidrio arriba por lo q cdo se enciende la luz del pasillo cuando alguien pasa, ilumina permanentemente y no deja descansar, las ventanas de los baños dan los pasillos y se escuchan claramente cdo alguien se baña ya q están muy cercanas unas de otras. No hay un cesto de basura en la habitación para tirar papeles, botellas plásticas etc. El WiFi es inestable.

|0.4km from city centerWe are a family of four traveling with 2 young adult children. We spent two nights at the Amaru Valle Hotel in July 2022. What a magical, fairy-tale like place! There are around 30 accomodations in a series of alpine style buildings scattered across the grounds. Ours was perfect - four beds in a spacious room with a view of the mountains and a very nice bathroom. The grounds are lovely with gardens, cobblestones, and views of the mountains. The staff so friendly and helpful. A lovely breakfast of eggs, bread, fresh fruit and coffee/tea is included. The place is located a short 8 - 10 minute walk from town housed behind a large wooden door. Our room for 4 was very comfortable and reasonable. Highly recommend!

The main square ,where are the restaurants and cafes and tour services,is a 30 -second walk,yet the hotel is quiet.The only noise is from the gushing stream that passes by the side of the hotel.My room had a balcony that overlooked this stream. I slept with the balcony door wide open.Good bed,ample hot water. In my walks I saw more luxurious hotels in this historic,charming,walkable town but they appear to require a trek up the hill 10-15 minutes on foot. The staff was gracious,humble and very helpful.Dereck (manager?helped out with taxis and travel suggestions.English-speaking,fun-loving guy. The hotel is basic,no luxuries-but very clean,safe and perfectly located.I loved it there!

|1km from city centerWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While it wasn’t anything fancy, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property had a tremendous amount of charm. Breakfast could have been a little more extensive, but the food was fine, and the dinner we had at the restaurant was quite good. This hotel was a little out of the way, but after seeing the ‘city centre’ we far preferred this walk out of the way than staying in the dusty centre of Urubamba.

The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and can help solve many of our problems.
The bus station to Machu Picchu is on the right hand side of the house, which is convenient.

|0.24km from city centerMy teenage son and I stayed here the night before our hike up to MP via the Inca Trail. Frans and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They helped me sort out how to drop my extra baggage at the train station and then helped recover it. They went above and beyond any expectations of hospitality and support I could have imagined. One of the managers, Edgar, helped my son and I make our way to the train station and another manager, Alai, helped to located a misplaced train ticket amidst a hectic and stressful morning. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Coffee excellent. They also provided the best dinner recommendations! Sol Natura made our brief stay in the magical Ollantaytambo a night and day we won't ever forget. Do yourself a favor and book a couple nights at this remarkable place.

The room and en suite were very comfortable clean and pleasantly decorated and the hotel lounge and kitchen area were also very pleasant spaces to spend time in. The hotel location was very good – it was near enough to Ollantaytambo main square and ruins to be convenient (few mins walk) but not close enough that noise was a problem. I was made to feel at home during my stay with the hotel owner Catta and her family being extremely friendly and helpful in taking care of my needs and also sharing their local knowledge and advising on the local attractions – they were also very pleasant to converse with. Ollantaytambo itself was also a beautiful and peaceful location for a stay being extremely pleasant with a substantial local ruin site next to it and with beautiful views of the Sacred Valley.

The house was not ready yet, and I immediately changed it, but from the fifth floor, there was a balcony with six floors and no balcony. It doesn't matter, the quilt in the key room is still tidal, and the hotel is painting and the room smells in the past few days. Also found the front desk brother finally gave a free upgrade to the suite to solve. Breakfast starts at 5 o'clock, more common, bread milk juice fruit. The restaurant and cafe are also excellent for lunch, dinner, snacks and coffee. The hotel is located inside the train station, which makes it extremely convenient for the trains to Machu Picchu. There was soap and shampoo. Towels are great, bed too. Best praise. Of the shortcomings, they didn't see our payment and figured out where it was through the booking system. But it didn't affect us for what they plus!

Although it is relatively niche compared to other five-star hotels, it is definitely an aristocratic stay experience! From check-in to check-out at the front desk, the hotel has really paid attention to every detail. The Belmond Hotel Machu Picchu is located at the door of Machu Picchu, which saves a lot of effort for tourists who visit early in the morning. I booked an all-inclusive room type with three meals. The choice of three meals is very rich, which is quite good for a mountaintop hotel with scarce supplies. The hotel still provides washing service after check-out, which is very intimate. After staying for two nights, Machu Picchu is a great experience! Ctrip's price is much cheaper than booking, very powerful!

Room was clean and fairly spacious, bed was comfortable and staff very friendly. Bed was comfy and loved opening the window and listening to the rushing stream all night. Breakfast was awesome with table service too, again, considering price, best deal around. Only two things to note, located a few steps further away than some hotels, but everything in town is pretty close, and the noise carried if someone was talking in the corridor (until we opened the door for river noise.) Also a bit of train noise, but they don't run late at night anyway.

First thing we saw was chef Cristian preparing the ragu from scratch: fresh tomatoes, onions garlic, basil and oregano, while the wood-fired oven blazed cheerfully behind. Then Nelva and Yudisa served us impeccably. The pizza base was utter perfection. Crisp, tasty and yet as light as air. The suggestions for local wines were superb, and we ended up, in the middle of Peru(!) having an unforgettable Italian dining experience of which the best in Europe would have been proud. Totally unexpected delight. Thank you!

The hotel was really clean with a lovely bathroom and shower. the buffet breakfast also had all types of food. All the staff were really friendly and helpful but a special mention to Priscilla who was so NICE to us and gave us great advice for our trip to Machu Picchu. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, it's the perfect hotel set in an amazing village!!!
