the room was renovated also the bathroom with glass slide shower. microwave and fridge inside the room, tv and internet. Parking is covered with a camera so i left my stuff in the car. I had a nice sleep in the bed, would visit again if i pass here. Also the staff from reception was helpful.

The restaurant across the road was equally impressive. Wonderful food and friendly service. We were lucky to get in without a reservation. Some patrons who arrived later had to settle for take-out.

We stayed for three nights in a king size suite. Room was spacious and very clean. Hotel is close to a busy road but we heard very little noise at night. Gym was good and well equipped. Breakfast was also good with eggs, bacon, bagels etc. Hotel is close to Walmart Supercentre and other large stores. My only gripe was the laundry. One washing machine and dryer. Cost $1.75 each. I had to hunt around for some coins in the end Reception came to my aid but it would be good if these were free, such a small amount of money when you consider our total bill was $800+. Apart from that all good.

The staff and servers at the restaurant were so helpful in making our stay enjoyable. They were enthusiastic about the area's attractions. Breakfast was great, and the room was clean. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant conveniently attached to the motel, the Soo Blaster. We appreciated that breakfast was ready in time for guests who had to leave early to catch the Agawa Canyon Tour Train. The motel was a little dated, but the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food totally made up for it.

This is an excellent place to stay on budget. When I told the manager that I need a room on the ground level as I wanted to park the car near to it, he gave me a nice room on the ground level. Fitted fitted fitted sheets were not used on the mattresses. Regular top sheets were and they were not tucked in properly. There were no mattress protectors and these mattresses were stained. There were no mattress protectors and these mattresses were stained. Hair and dust was found around the base of the toilet and along the bath room floor. The bath mat had black mold blotches on it. Two white styrofoam cups were provided and no plastic cups in the bathroom. No moisturizer toiletries. The pillows were lumpy. No ”Do not disturb” was provided.

As I was looking for a central location while I spent the month touring the area. Spanish was central for touring and reconnecting with friends from the past. As well looking up the many Lions Clubs in surrounding areas. Central to Elliot Lake, Espanola, Sault St. Marie, Blind River, Little Current and many other small communities, lots of history. From Day one Diane and Steve made me and my dog Hunter feel right at home. Room was fresh, bed comfortable, washroom and amenities good. Hunter loved the dog treats and own towels. Lots of amenities near buy, groceries, take out food, banking and lots of history. Any issues that arose were quickly dealt with by management. Hunter and I will be back for sure. I had my own Covid self test kit that I used weekly, always negative.

It’s laughable that Sault St Marie markets itself as Ontario’s Best Adventure Town - its dubious honour should really be the adventure of dealing with difficult people! Had the misfortune to be in this place twice in one month and both times the experience has been lack lustre. First time stayed at Quattro Hotel with high expectations due to all its rave reviews and #1 status on TripAdvisor. Sadly the service was lukewarm at best. On the return journey, we rebooked to stay at The Water Tower Inn again with high expectations due to the multiple rave reviews. This time staff were at least very helpful but due to an error on their part when changing our reservation (they got the dates so wrong), they expected us to pay more in order to have the rooms we needed once we had rocked up and attempted to check-in. Talk about holding us ransom. Yes we would have had to cough up more money (a $900 hold) to fix their error! Best to avoid this town altogether.

We arrived late without a reservation, and they were friendly and accommodating. The place is every bit as charming as the pictures. The full-sized Bed in cottage 2 was fine not extremely comfortable, but completely fine. The cottage had a full-sized fridge and was set up really easily, the trails around the place were great. The views were sweet. There were cobwebs in the ceiling and mosquitos about, but this doesn’t bother us. The Place was clean, the dishes were useful. I don’t know how they make a living giving so much for so little. The WIFI worked well not in the cabin but near the check in/ happy hour picnic table, there were bikes. People clearly come and stay for a whole week. We loved it. I am not sure we would want to stay in Bruce mines for a week, we were just passing through. This place made passing through a sweet adventure. Its not like staying in a lighthouse on the north shore with fancy sheets and luxury views. But it was better in a way, less hip and more connected to its history and felt homey in a way that only a family run resort can feel. I wish there were more such places left. Would like to go back. No mildew or mold, bugs at night was just a part of staying in a cabin near water. But the screens kept most of them out. The history in the guest book was so interesting and the lake gorgeous and right out the door! A great deck for morning YOGA. Go you won’t regret it.

Very pleased with this hotel overall. The only exceptions are: that the round the clock free coffee only had ”fake” creamers available, and that price wise for such a location was a bit high. The room was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, the free breakfast quite decent, and the coffee served at breakfast was fresh and strong.

Stayed at this hotel to take Agawa Canyon Train. It was very close and had excellent parking. Two friends and I stayed at hotel, each wanting separate bed so booked a room with two queen beds and one pull-out couch. HUGE room!!!! All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The on-site Italian restaurant was Amazing. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

During the period of the epidemic, I will ask a few questions when I stay in. It seems that they are the six test questions just updated by the US CDC. The United States may be the opposite. The prevention is better. Praise! Have you caught a cold? Have you been in contact with the people involved in the epidemic? The breakfast is written and there must be no eating in the hall. I saw the comment that it was packed. I thought I could go to the restaurant. Actually, I had to go to the front desk. Anyway, it was quite complicated and didn't understand too much. Ctrip wrote that parking is free. Later, I saw that Google wrote a charge. The front desk said five yuan. Finally, the deposit was returned and it seemed that it was not deducted. I'm not sure I have to wait for the bill. The bath water is super big. My favorite. It’s cool. The room is not big. It looks like this. Nothing to worry about. As always, the HolidayInn clean and simple decoration design is generally very good! The backstreet of the hotel should be Queen Street, the main street of the town. The municipal flowers are blooming beautifully. Unfortunately, the epidemic is sluggish. There are almost no one on the road on Friday. Hope the epidemic will pass soon! Bring back to life!
