These units have separate doors connected by 2 flights of stairs. The first floor has a foyer entrance to the stairs and a garage. There is also another separate third unit, a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom beach cottage that is not connected to this building.This unit is an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining room, mini office space and living room with beach views. The kitchen has a large island flanked by two bar stools and it comes fully stocked. It also comes with complimentary coffee, hot cocoa, cream and sugar. The master bedroom has a king size bed with comfy memory foam mattress and 43 inch Smart TV. The newly updated large master bathroom has a rain fall shower, large bath tub and an extra vanity. This hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the stay, to the staff, the brunch, everything was top tier. The location is great, near a lot of restaurants and chill spots with good vibes. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. We've found a go to spot when staying in Norfolk.

Standard Hilton convenient hotel, just close to the airport. I stayed here. The lake next to it is quite beautiful. You can walk to the outlets. It's just a bit cold outside, and there are sometimes homeless people. It's better to stay in the hotel alone. Hot tea and coffee are good.

The room smelled moldy as soon as I opened the door, and there were food residues on the carpet. The most important thing was that the pillow seemed to have not been changed for a long time, and there was a strong smell of hair oil, and the whole bed was filled with this unpleasant smell. I couldn't sleep well all night! I have stayed here several times, and this is the first time it smells so bad!!!

The staff was nice but hotel was not in good shape. We were coming to this city to see our daughter’s school function. Then the tropical storm hit, and the event was cancelled. I tried to cancel 48 hours in advance but they did not allow. I even asked if we could just get a rain check and use it when the event was ti be rescheduled 4 weeks later. They said no. Like I said though, the staff was very nice.

Price is about the only thing going for this place other than it’s relatively safe. I understand that it’s a bare bones basic place, but they do not even offer you a simple plastic cup in the room for the purpose of brushing your teeth or a glass of water. That just seems ridiculously cheap.  The floor was filthy and my feet turned black in five minutes.

While the location is wonderful this hotel has fallen victim to the Covid standard. Basically they provide little to no service, no cleaning, no room service, can’t even get the room adequately stocked with coffee for a room price markup of 20-30%. Plus you have to pay $13/day for on site parking in which they park their shuttles so there’s even less parking lot parking. Initially I thought it was nice to find water and tea in the lobby but soon found the tea hadn’t been changed and was old and sour. Also the breakfast offered at the restaurant is outrageously expensive.
