      BEWARE!! FILTHY MOTEL CHARGING HOTEL PRICES; WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! We checked in on Dec. 25th, 2021 and were offered two different dirty, malodorous and dingy rooms. Due to the condition of the rooms, we were afraid to put our bags down anywhere. Therefore we didn't even stay 10 minutes in either room. Upon complaining immediately to Rebecca (Front Desk), she ASSUMED that we booked the room thru a third-party company (i.e. Booking.com) and told us that there's nothing she can do, so we'll have to call them to complain, in order to get a refund. After I corrected and informed her that we actually booked the room directly on the Days Inn by Wyndham Woodbury L.I. website, she called Jay P. (Hotel Manager). She advised us, as per Jay P. since we booked it on the hotels website, he will review our complaint & refund request, when he is in the office tommorrow..Yeah..Sun. Dec 26th , 2021. What a MAJOR inconvenience, as we had to find & book ANOTHER hotel room, at the last minute on Christmas Day! Despite, multiple calls and emails, as of today, we have not received a call, an email or a credit card refund from Jay Patel or Days Inn by Windham! ZERO!! At this point, it is obvious that Jay P. (Hotel Manager) either has no intention of rectifying this situation or he does not have the power to do so! The poorly maintained accommodations at the Days Inn by Windham (Woodbury L.I.) as well as the lacking customer service & communication by the hotel staff is just appalling. The "hotel room" as advertised on their website is misleading to say the least! Surely the corporate office of Days Inn at Wyndham, values their overall reputation in the hospitality industry, as customers have a lot of hotels to choose from. Hopefully, this will shed light on the changes needed, at the Days Inn Woodbury L.I. location and will prevent anyone else from making the same mistake we made by booking here wasting money and time.. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

      I made the mistake of booking this hotel for my entire family & bridal party. Everything they told us was a lie. This place looks like the motel that my friends & I used to have hotel parties at when I was a teenager. The furniture was scratched, old, & looks like it came from a garage sale. Every room had an odor, things were broken in each room, everybody was having issues.The worst part of all of this is that there was construction at the hotel. My now husband & I had driven down Jericho turnpike a few weeks prior to our wedding. I noticed a construction site in front of the hotel. We called asked if this was affecting the property in any way shape or form. We were reassured that there was no construction on the property at all . When we arrived, the parking lot was dirt, rocks, caution tape everywhere. No pavement. The big beautiful tree in the front of the hotel is ripped out & there’s temporary construction fencing, rocks, dirt & caution tape right in front. I had guests dressed for a formal wedding in heels gowns suits&tuxedos tracking through this.They also told us that hot breakfast was serve every day. Which is half true. When I asked if it was just package foods like muffins & granola bars they said “no it’s fresh made to order food that can be either delivered to the room ,picked up or eaten in the lobby.” Breakfast was basically like Jimmy Dean style egg sandwich wrap and placed in heater & microwavable pancakes. The lobby is a joke. Maybe eight people can sit comfortably to eat, And that’s being generous. I will say, they had juice water coffee, a very nice tea selection available 24/7. We were also told the the hotel provides shuttle service to any stores or destinations within five miles of the property, as well as pick ups and drop offs to the train station. Nope. Not one employee knew anything about this. Apparently, it is an imaginary shuttle. So there’s that. Although The girls at the hotel are very sweet, everyone was full of excuses as to why service was slow, etc. My mother-in-law and Aunt were splitting the cost of the room. When they went to pay, The guy at the front desk told them that they could not split it on two separate cards because his system didn’t work that way. Really? As a bride, i was hysterically crying on my wedding day absolutely mortified. We had guests from all over the country at the is place. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my entire life. This is The Worst Place Ever

      Beautiful property, obviously very popular for weddings and events so a bit busy/crowded but it was that time of year. I had a Royal Suite with a lovely lounge area and awesome bed. Highly recommended. I enjoyed their room service and would definitely go bad. The car service they recommend from the airport was great too.

      We stayed at this property with family on the thanks giving break. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. The hotel is old with old furniture but nice and clean. No housekeeping service for our 3 nights stay but i believe this is kind of a new norm in most big chain hotels.

      On the first night of my stay, I had a bad fall while visiting family. I returned to the hotel and the response by the team was simply great. They bent over backwards with first aid kits, assisted us with 911 ( sustained a foot fracture) and found us a new room which was more accessible for me. They asked how I was doing every time my husband walked by as well as “ does she need anything “. You do not find this level of care and concern much these days. I’m very impressed! The hotel is immaculate! They have a lovely bistro restaurant and bar. Families were really enjoying a good time there. The rooms are spacious.

      We used this hotel for our wedding block and we couldn't be happier. Rosemarie Tibball was our main point of contact and her service was exceptional. She answered every question and request we had promptly and thoroughly. When some guests had trouble or made mistakes with their bookings, Rosemarie stepped in personally to make sure all was straightened out in short order. It's great that the hotel offers extras like shuttle to your venue, distribution of gift bags, and/or a comped room for the bride and groom when certain minimums are hit. Rooms were clean and there is plenty of parking on-site. We would absolutely recommend this hotel.

      This hotel is pretty rundown. The small 'suite' had one bedroom, a sofa bed in the common area, a kitchen and a shared bathroom. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, especially for a week's stay. The curtains were sheer and the heavier side curtains did not close over the sheer ones, so the room was never really dark. The main concern is that the hotel is pet-friendly, which was not disclosed. We had a long-term guest across the hall from our room with a small dog that was quiet. But the hotel lodged someone with a big, noisy dog next to us - it barked at the littlest noise and sleeping was interrupted due to the barking. If we stayed in the room for any period of time the dog would bark upon hearing us [we have a feeling the resident left it alone in the room]. We are not against pets, but they should allot a certain area of the hotel to pets, not have then interspersed anywhere and tell the guests. And the sound-proofing from the room above ours was awful. One night/early morning we had what can only be described as an X-rated movie scene being played out, no holding back from vocalization!!! The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly, but I would never book a room here again.

      The only "complaint" I would even say I had was that the elevator was broken, however that can happen at any hotel. Ms. Jackie at the front desk was so sweet and worked with me so well when I went to rebook because of the snow storm and I had no way of getting back out to my house since we are in a state of emergency. Only other issue i had, which isn't the biggest deal, was the fridge kind of sounded like someone was knocking at the door but that could have been due to there not being that much in there.
