We were 3 nights there. Over the 1st May. A beautiful hotel. Best location, quiet, beautiful view of the mountains. Berchtesgaden is not far away. In winter I would pack snow chains, especially if you have no all-wheel.😆 We had a room with terrace. Rooms were large, no long ways, very friendly and competent service. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner has also been all tasteful and customized by the service. As it must be in a 5-star hotel. Critical points: - Parking is calculated extra. It should be included in the price from my view. At least parking under the open sky. Positive is the parking service and that the additional costs were transparently listed. - Fitness room is not 5 stars level. There is too little and second-class equipment. Although the existing equipment can train all muscle groups, a few more equipment and a larger room should already be in. - Pool. Very nice pool in the outer area. Sufficient bed to relax with beautiful views. The pool in the inner area may be larger. It is not suitable for swimming. sufficient for children. - But the two biggest criticisms from my point of view are: terrace with exitable roof rollo. Just the rollo automatically runs in the rain or can't be exited. A pure sun rollo. It would be nice to use a exitable roof even when rain. Secondly: the prices. Eating and service are top. But are not in proportion to the prices. Also, a slightly expanded food card, like something more international, would do well. In sum, I would forgive 3 stars. The top classification in location, service, cleanliness, equipment reflects the detailed assessment then only in the approach. Service 4 stars due to prices. Equipment only 2.

We only checked in at 3-6 pm, we called them late after driving, sent me an email to inform you of the check-in method and left the key in the mailbox, which once made me suspect that it was a home. The breakfast is average. When I choose a room, the conditions are two big and one small, but the information about the person can only be filled in two. When I pay, I will tell you that because I have to add a child, I have to pay 9 Euros and 9 Euros for breakfast, plus city tax. At once, I gave me over 20 euros. The hotel can only drive to the middle of the mountain, next to a expensive and unpalatable restaurant, my son finally went back to eat instant noodles.

On the half slope, you can see the Alps in the distance and the scenery is good. A few minutes drive to the town center, there are meals, DM, supermarket. It is quite convenient from King Lake and the magic forest about ten kilometers. There is no service staff after 10 pm in the hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and pressed the emergency number. The store opened the car and came over from the house to open the door. It was still very good. The breakfast was quite rich, and everyone gave the designated table with a brand name on the table. The hotel room is large, larger than the average European hotel, and the heating is very warm. The only dissatisfaction is that the quotation is not the same as the actual one, saying that there is a tax.

This is a stunning hotel in a stunning location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and pretty much everyone speaks very good English. The room we stayed in was large with an incredible view of the mountains. There was a large very comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. They have a lovely scheme where you can opt to skip housekeeping for the day and they will pay for a tree to be planted instead. The pool areas are wonderful and there are so many different areas to sit, relax and take in the views. While we were there this included paragliders floating over the valley. I was very very impressed by the food. Our first meal was the set menu for dinner. We had no idea how much it would be but we were astonished that it was only €25 each. The quality of each course was very high, so we opted to eat in the hotel each night. Breakfasts were also great with a huge choice of continental and cooked items. The selection of teas and the freshly squeezed juice were both very welcome. Between 2pm and 4pm there are also free ‘snacks’ available but this is again a sizeable selection of meat, cheese, salads, bread and absolutely delicious cakes, which were a full meal rather than a snack. I have stayed in similarly priced hotels and it always seems like the drinks and food are an absolute rip off but at the Alpenhof everything is so reasonably priced. We could not have been happier here it is an absolute gem!

We had 2 double rooms, both were very generous (beid still a third bed). The hotel was renovated so everything is in the best condition. We missed a small refrigerator in the room so that you can adjust something. A water to greet in the room would not be bad. Breakfast is enough, dinner in the restaurant was very good, big portions. Parking garage in the house, also renovated. Very good if you can get from the room directly into the garage with the lift or through stairs. Personal very friendly, hotel very recommended located right next to the train station, supermarket walking well

This is the best hotel we have ever lived in during our half-month trip. Not far from the train station, on the mountainside, the scenery is very good, very close to the lively streets of the town. We live in a family room, two in front and back, with a desk to write or play mahjong. The breakfast is very rich, the coffee is free all day, and a free bus card is available, which saves a lot of money.

The hotel appears to be from the 70er-Jahren. It has not been renovated since. First the positive: The ”Grand Superior room with South Balcony” was spacious: flat, separate toilet, large bathroom. Balcony goes to the street that is tolerable from noise. Watzmann-View! The breakfast was ordinary, though nothing special. Now to the shadow pages: The hotel is angled and it wondered me that something like this is still allowed from fire protection points of view: no ways of escape are shown etc. To small Uralth lift you have to do many Scratches rise. The rooms are old: furniture in eagle rustic decor (dark brown) with water sticks, lamps with screens. Teppich smooth, totally uncomfortable. The bathroom had brown tiles with flower decor. You feel like in the museum. The swimming pool is relatively large, but also dark and uncomfortable. Ruhs are not available, but you don't want to stay here anyway. The sauna was locked, with the notice that you might sign up at the reception. Totally € 140 /Nacht for this standard is completely unacceptable.

It was opened by an old couple. The people were very friendly and kind. The old man didn't speak English very well but the communication problem was not big. The breakfast had egg bread ham fruit coffee, simple and simple nutrition. Be careful not to miss the breakfast time. The old couple still have rules, can't wash clothes in the room, dry clothes, they need to wash clothes, they will recommend the laundry room in the town center of Berchtesgaden. Hotel houses are more old-fashioned, please be cautious if you are not used to this kind of bed and breakfast style. One disadvantage is that the location of the hotel is slightly further from the centre of Berchtesgaden, but each guest gets a bus card during their stay, the bus in the Berchtesgaden area can be taken free of charge, and when you leave the store, you can go back. Just do it (if the card is lost, you have to pay 5 euros). We booked according to the price above Ctrip, but when the checkout is finished, the old man said that he will give special discounts to Chinese tourists. No matter what the price we originally ordered, we actually paid almost half of the original price. , gave us a big surprise. In addition, next to the hotel is the 500-year-old salt mine, which is very worth seeing. I would like to try this hotel in the style of mountain house to try this hotel, the price is really good.

Berchtesgaden

We enjoyed the hotel as an internight stay on the way to Vienna and are around happy and satisfied. Our room with mountain view and balcony is attractively equipped, very quiet and very clean. Yeah, the atmosphere has been a little stuck in the past, but that makes it very charming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, fresh sauce and cheese, no backbroads !! and the view from the restaurant to the mountains is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and competent and always ready to a pleasure. As I said, it is hardly perfect, so we will definitely come back .... then understandably a little longer.
