The staff here is very friendly, polite and helpful. We have been able to wash and dry our clothes. The room was spacious, clean with a comfy bed. The shower had good pressure, hot water and we had plenty of towels. The breakfast had a good selection. We recommend this hotel

Reserved a room here to have a kitchenette. The room and appliances were clean and functional. I was surprised that the room did not have any pans, utensils, or serving ware, probably due to precautions during the pandemic. I did reserve the room on a third party site, so I understood why this detail may have been missed and bought cheap items to get by. I did not inquire if they are available from the front desk. Also, hot water took a long time to reach my room. I did point this out and was asked to give it more time, which worked. Again, I attribute this to spacing out rooms/floors assigned due to precautions during the pandemic. Overall, it was a great stay and the above issues were due to very appreciated precautions.

We had seen Manassas from the Amtrak train and thought it looked cosy, with lots to do. So we took a little mini-vacation and got ourselves a room at the Olde Towne Inn. It is by no means a fancy place, but the location is perfect, as was the price. The woman in reception was friendly and helpful. The room was pretty standard, fridge, microwave. I had problems in the morning, I couldn't make the shower work at all, and had to wash my hair and face in the sink. When my husband came back from his walk, he got the shower to work just fine. Typical, or was it maybe the resident ghost just messing with me? No breakfast, easy parking. Lots of restaurants and bars within a very easy walking distance.

I was a late check in and had to park a considerable distance from the door, and was greeted by someone smoking ********* in the parking lot. Went in, did not get the room I had reserved but was too tired to argue. Got to my room and found water was leaking getting the ceiling. Called the front desk and informed them, was told someone would be up in ”less than 5 minutes”. After 20 minutes of waiting, I went back down to the front desk and asked what they were doing about my room. The front desk clerk had no idea what I was talking about and was very apologetic, and moved me to a different room. Got to the new room to find, I don't even want to know what, on the carpet just inside the door (the photo), the tub spigot dripped and world not stop, and no bags in the trash cans. Again, this was a late check in and I was exhausted from a 9 hour drive so I just shut the bathroom door so I couldn't hear the dripping, and went to bed. The beds are comfortable is about all I can say was even remotely good about my stay. I've stayed with Spring Hill Suites for a long time and this is the worst experience I've ever had.

The property is well situated off I66 with plenty of shopping nearby for those needing to use the kitchenette. At night the hotel is well lit. The room with the kitchenette, bath and double bed was spacious. Furnishings are average with some wear. There are some concerns. The outdoor mats and walkways outside the rooms are in need of sweeping of dirt and dried leaves. Inside, the toilet barley flushed, the floor under furniture was not cleaned or vacuumed and parts were sticky and in need of a mopping. Lastly, the reception desk is often missing someone to help, especially at night. We had to wait often for someone to show up, sometimes up to 10 minutes.

I strongly recommend on the Residence Inn at Fair Lakes in Fairfax, Virginia. The manager, Hannah Adlam, sets the tone and offers a great example for the entire staff of the qualities of exceptional customer service. As a guest at the Residence Inn, I have received exceptional service from all the staff. During my stay, the facility has been undergoing renovations. Many measures have been taken to ensure customers are well taken care of during these circumstances. In addition, at this time, the Covid 19 Pandemic is in full swing. During these challenging times the staff are still providing customers exceptional service. As I witness all the work being carried out by management and staff to meet customers’ needs while undergoing building renovations and a Pandemic, I can just say everyone at this Residence Inn is Exceptional!!! I love the renovated suite I occupy; it has a great arrangement of living and sleeping areas with neutral colors and lovely decor. My favorite part is the location of table in the kitchen which can also be used as an extra work surface when cooking. Outdoors, the new patio offers multiple lounging areas, a barbeque and a fire pit adorned by trees and flowers. The Residence Inn is in a great location close to Dulles Airport, Fair Oaks Mall, many groceries stores and major highways!

This is a 3-star hotel and it shows. As its name indicates, the rooms are suites and come with a small kitchenette, which includes a small sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a small microwave. Our room also had a small living room with a couch. The TV in our room was set at an awkward position, opposite the wall that separates the living room and the bed. This was probably an attempt to be visible from both, but made it difficult to watch from either space. The room did not have a safe and there was only one drawer to store things. The cupboard was good size and came with an ironing board. The AC was quite loud and we were staying on one of the lower floors so the general noise level in the room was quite higher than in other hotels we stayed. Nearby (0.2 miles) there is a small mall with a choice of restaurants and a grocery store. This hotel is near the George Mason University and is one of the university's preferred hotels. So many families stay here when they visit the university. However there is no hotel shuttle to take you there. So, you either need to have a car or to pay taxi back and forth. The breakfast can be improved. We didn't expect it to be a full continental breakfast, but it seemed minimal. There were no bagels, English muffins, waffles or similar. On the other hand there were pre-packaged cereal and milk, pre-packages hot sandwiches, boiled eggs and some fruit. This could be due to COVID, but the look of these things did not inspire confidence for their quality. Again this is a 3-star inexpensive hotel, so one cannot complain that much.
