The hotel location is very good, very close to Myeongdong Station, convenient to go anywhere. Although it is in a lively place, it is not noisy at all. It is very quiet at night and does not affect sleep at all. The decoration style of the room is a bit like a traditional Korean-style room. The toilet is large and clean.

Convenient location, first-class service, arrived very early, I had a chance, a male staff member said good news, because I had a room, I was very happy, the weather was freezing a few degrees on the day, and I was super-worried! Simple breakfast is delicious, I will return to live next time!

If you just need a bed for sleeping a night, this place is a cheap option for that. This place seems like it's geared towards backpackers travelling on a budget. If you want hotel standards, it's better to look somewhere else. The bedroom was almost as small as the bed itself (but it had a bathroom) and it had only a tiny window. The room was worn out, e.g. pieces of wallpaper were missing. Still the room had all the necessities (including aircon) and I slept well. I was travelling alone, having two persons in the room would have been a nightmare. The location is perfect on a busy street (that was pedestrianized during the afternoon and evening) in the city center and close to a metro station. The guesthouse is located on the upper floors of the building and there's only a small door on the street. Luckily they emailed a map two days before arrival to help finding the door, otherwise it would have been like finding a needle in a haystack. My window was facing the street, but the room was so high up that the noise from the street didn't disturb after I closed the window. In the afternoon and evening the street was filled with street food vendors. There was a 20,000 won deposit that had to be given in cash. Breakfast was included, but it was really basic. It was self-serve and the only food options were toast and cereals. You had to wash your dishes yourself.

Very good location if you want to stay close to the Myeongdong station (baby blue line linked to Seoul Station for KTX). This will be right within the side of Myeongdong shopping area, and taxi is still able to reach it even in evening time (more crowded, and some areas are close off to cars in Myeongdong). Hotel looks clearly old and basic when I arrived (first impressions). But it is generally clean, and no complaints about my stay

I found the hotel was in an excellent location, but impossible to reach by taxi. I was dropped off as close as possible and struggled with 3 suitcases as this was an extended layover returning to the states. It was surprisingly quiet to be right n the middle of the night market, but I was on the 14th floor. The towels were a bit on the thin side and a little hard. I liked the layout of the room, the toilet with a basin was in a separate room from the shower, tub and sink, but the room with the toilet did not have soap so if somebody was in the shower you couldn’t wash your hands. I was by myself, so I would walk across the hall and washed my hands. The breakfast was okay, there were things I could eat, but was very limited because of my diet limitations.

We've booked a Superior Twin Room at Mohenic Hotel for 4 nights. We have stayed at the previous Loisir a couple of times for the past years, hence we sort of gathered that Mohenic and Migliore Hotel has taken over Loisir. Room size was good for 2 guests, Smart TV with OTT functions, city view. The first night, we kept smelling some awful stench coming out from the toilet. We decided to open the windows (temperature was 8-10'C) and close the toilet door. The next morning, the stench did not dissipate. I checked the toilet bowl area and found 2 packs of Air Freshener which meant that the previous guests would have made the problem known to the Reception. We approached the Reception and requested if a change of room is possible. I must say that, albeit the slight language barrier, the 3 persons that we've interacted at the Reception during our stay were always full of smiles. We were allocated to another room on the same floor, the room was smaller and I wondered if we've gotten a 'cheaper' room instead? The TV was an older version with no Smart functions, hence, NO NetFlix or Disney. But hey.... we weighed the Pros and Cons. Both of us came to a conclusion that it's easier to bear with the shortcome of hard products, rather than the toilet stench. Our next door neighbour decided to have an afternoon bonking session when we were unpacking in the new room, we have no NetFlix to watch, hence it was quite an interesting afternoon in the room. LOL... Location is superb. Subway is just downstairs, the busy night street of Myeongdong is just behind the hotel.

Location is prime. Right in the action for seruous shopping in myeondong. Exit 7 of Myeondong station w a small escalator, turn ur luggage sideway to go up smoothly. Exit 8 is nearer but no escalator. Hotel has 11 stories i think. Our room was 704 w view of shopping belt below. Believe 04s unit are located right next to the lifts. A bit busier and noisjer but we are good. Choose city view if u like to see hustle bustle of the shopping streets below. Otherwise, check with reception for the other view. Reception speaks good English and was prompt in their service. Housekeeping is prompt. Room is small.can fit in 28in luggage in the walkway, half open. See pic. Room with two single beds. See pic.

The location is next to the main street of Myeongdong. It only takes 5 minutes on foot to go shopping. Eating is very convenient, and there are snack bars all over the street at night. Check-in is possible at 3 pm. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage first. The size of the room is small. There are no places to open the two suitcases, but the layout is very simple. The toilet is not large. Use a shower curtain to separate the wet and dry areas. But the ventilation was very powerful. In the morning, you can go to the negative breakfast buffet. Instant noodles, eggs, ham, coffee, milk and juice are all available, depending on personal cooking. However, there were two nights in the room without hot water during the stay. We were really tormented that we had to take a bath every day. Fortunately, the clerk helped to solve it, especially to praise the little brother who could speak Chinese.

The location of the hostel is very strategic. It is in the middle of Myeongdong crowd. You can easily shop 'til you drop actually. Very close to the subway and if you take airport bus, you will only walk across the street to get to the place. The room is spacious enough for 3 persons. The bathroom is clean and I love the shampoo :D You can also easily spotted food stall and must enjoy the night street food heaven just nearby the place. This is the great place to stay if you love to eat and shop. Definitely will stay there in my following visit to Seoul.

The service staff on the phone and check in are very abrupt. For example, before we made the booking, we called the hotel to inquire, the staff told us that the superior double room cannot accommodate 3 person, therefore we booked 2 rooms. However when we arrived, we checked into a superior deluxe room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. It was exactly what we needed. We didn't need the extra room we booked after all. The room and bed is worn out and very basic. Even though the room smells old and stale, the room was generally clean. Overall the hotel is in an excellent location near the subway and myeongdong street. Good for non-fussy tourists who won't be spending much time in the room.

I highy recommend this hotel as next to line 5 station, airport bus stop, 3 BIG shopping centres, 4 convenience stalls! Very good location with train lines as well as 24 hours eateries (like LA Bab) in the opposite street & nearby local market. The room slightly smaller but go with marriot management so can feel the 4/5 stars vibes! The train sounds are soft that i can sleep even we are staying low floors! The staffs are wonderful to help us call our driver and try to make our special request met. Very secure, clean and even a microwave at Level 3! I would love to go back again for my next trip. Duco, Sean & another of their colleague who can speal good english are wonderful to assist us but don't know how I can give them a compliment to Marriot!

Hostel is brilliantly located about 5 minutes walk to Myeongdong. Bus stop to catch the airport bus is also 5 minutes away. Hostel itself is up a sloping street (“cartoon street”) which has convenience stores, restaurants (including a 24 hour one!) and shops. Very convenient. Despite this, street is quiet; we had no problems with noise. The hostel is about 5 stories tall which includes the rooftop sitting area. Note no lift. Simple breakfast of toast and cereal available every morning in the kitchen on the (I think) 3rd floor or in the little reception area. Coffee and juice available too. Note no tea (bring your own!). Our family of 4 took 2 rooms across the corridor from each other. Rooms are small, simply furnished but comfortable and clean. Heated floors were a bonus! Each room comes with a little fridge. En-suite bathroom was clean. Rooms come with small hand towels; proper bath towels are available with a small deposit. Laundry service is also available for a reasonable fee. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating. There is a little welcome pack of treats when you arrive and a “goodbye” bag when you leave. A nice touch. Note there is a surcharge for using your credit card. All in all, a comfortable and clean place to stay in a great location and at a reasonable price.

The place was easily accessible via train, just a short walk from Samgakji station (exit 1 or 13). It's also close to the airport bus stop that takes you directly to Incheon Airport - very convenient. It also has a nearby convenience store, and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes so you won't have to worry about where to get lunch or breakfast. Most of the guests I've met there are quite friendly and will give you tips on what to do if it's your first time in the city. They also have a kitchen in the 3rd floor so you can cook your own meals if you feel like it. We sadly didn't get a chance to see the rooftop and the upper floors because we were so tired by the time we returned. The main floor of the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor, including the reception desk, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to get there which proved quite challenging when most of their guests are carrying huge luggages - no handrails btw, so you have to be careful. I was carrying a collective weight of 20kgs when I first arrived and had to get help from Johnny as it was impossible for me to do it myself. With its popularity among travelers comes the obvious problem of it being fully packed with people, which can get chaotic when everybody wants to use the showers at once. The place is a little small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around in once all the guests arrive and are buzzing about.

The room was spacious and the bathtub was located far from the toilet, so I used it! I didn't notice any smell of sewer or water. However, there was lipstick on the bed sheets. I had brought Febreze in advance and a towel to put on my pillow, so I felt okay. To go there, take a limousine bus from Incheon Airport to the Summit Hotel bus stop. (about 1 and a half hours) It was just a short walk down Nakamichi! It wasn't that far from DDP, and there was a train station and bus stop, so it was easy to get around. On the way back, I took a taxi to Seoul Station, checked in in advance, and headed back home. I don't really know how to call a kakao taxi. I asked the guy at the front desk. She waited outside with me until the taxi arrived so I didn't have to worry! I was able to stay with peace of mind because they spoke to me in Japanese! I stayed here for 8 days. The reception staff were helpful and polite when we checked in, the lift's very fast. The room appeared clean and had good amenities, 2 bottles of water in the fridge, coffee machine, large bed, we loved the TV above the bath, kido loved the heated toilet. It looks clean, clean bed sheets, then I slide the bathroom door closed and it's pretty dusty. No problem, I grab a tissue and wipe it down, I have a dust allergy. We lost something in between getting out of the cab and sitting down in the room so I try to find it, I look under the bed, it's really dusty and also has rubbish from previous occupants. We could hear the traffic outside but it's a busy road and it's understandable, we didn't find it annoying. There are strict check in and check out times and they won't charge you extra if you stick to these, they need time to clean the room and get it ready (they do need to slide the bathroom doors and clean these though, and under the beds too). I had a shower the next day, the waterfall shower's not easy to use and there's no instructions, but there's a handheld shower head attached to the wall. Great, I thought, that will help, It would have helped, but there's no seal around the bottom of the shower door and there's a gap, and the shower head faced the shower door. 30 minutes later I magage to clean the large amount of water in the bathroom and around the toilet up using towels, and I pop downstairs to let them know there's a problem with their shower. They sent someone up right away, I explained the issue, the shower door is missing a seal, he says 'I can't sort that' and walks out. No more showers then. We get back from a walk at around 8pm, and there's a very high pitched whistle coming from the ceiling in our room. I check the lights, the air conditioning and it whistles for about 30 minutes so I pop to the reception desk and let them know. Someone comes up right away and lets us know it's a valve in the bathroom ceiling, there's a hatch, he opens it up, and it stops. Yay! 5 minutes later... yup, it's back. He comes back and adjusts the valve once again. It stops. 5 minutes later... yup. Then it stops. Until the following evening. I let reception know it's still happening, they send someone out, again, it stops, again, and starts, again a few minutes later. It stops and starts throughout the night, midnight, 1am, 4am, 9am. We're tired, I'm rather grumpy, so we ask to change rooms so we can sleep. They check with the manager and give us another room. The new room has a seal at the bottom of the shower, unfortunately their water fall shower lasts for 1 second if you try to use it as the handle on the door self adjusts. There's still dust on the sliding doors and under the bed. We're exhausted having had a pretty bad night due to the alarm, so we sleep, a lot. We didn't eat in the hotel, it's expensive, there's a little French baguette place not too far away and a Starbucks so we're sorted. The Nespresso only ha

The location is between Myeongdong and Namsan (need to go uphill) There is no management at the B&B, you need to call the customer service of the B&B to take the holiday (it turns out that after you have given the door password, you can get the room key when you enter the room) Basically no management, the place is old and so are the rooms! There are also bed sheets and quilts that have a strong smell (maybe only the sheets and sheets have been changed, and the quilts have not been washed) There is a problem with the lock of the window and it cannot be locked. The transparent curtain is broken, and it will be like that when it is pulled down. The washbasin in the bathroom is not connected to the water to pour it directly out of the bathroom. The location of this hotel is really good as it is right next to a metro stop which pretty much connects to all areas of Seoul. Very convenient for City Hall metro access. It’s also near N-Tower and Myeongdong so technically you could walk but the metro is also convenient. Plenty of convenience stores like CU and a subway sandwich shop. If visiting South Korea make sure to download Naver Maps! Very convenient! Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was ok! We did have an issue with our room which was reported but no-one came to fix it (which was a bit disappointing) so as our TV never worked in our room and the plug behind the bed kept beeping randomly near the end of our trip I can only give the amenities 4/5. The cleaning routine for your room was also weird. Very we’ll explained to you when you check in but we found there to be inconsistencies in this service also. You have to ask them in reception before 2pm for your room to be cleaned etc and if after 2pm only certain things can be done. So ignore all the conflicting cleaning signage in the rooms as this doesn’t seem to be the hotels policy. We did have an issue one day where we asked for our room to be cleaned/ new towels left at the front desk in the morning and this wasn’t done. Overall though the hotel is ok for the price! Rooms do look a little old and dated (especially our bathroom but I forgot to take photos) but it’s in a great location. Lots of tourists staying at the hotel with tours you can book and they can also call a taxi to the airport for you. If, like us, you don’t need to spend alot of time in the room then it’s ok!

L7 Gangnam is a modern ”minimalist” business hotel part of the Lotte group. It's in the heart of Gangnam around 10min walk to COEX and opposite to the Seolleong ro-90 where the bars and restaurants are. Check-in was speedy - if you have bought breakfast then need to remember to collect the breakfast coupons. There is a mini vending station next to laundry and also a FX machines (passport required) which is useful. The breakfast selection is limited so you may want to explore other cafes around the corner (e.g. Levain Rules, Ronnefeldt, etc). The room is basic and functional. The view overlooking the Seolleong tomb/park is nice, especially if you've requested a high floor. Overall it's a good value for money and given the budget would definitely consider again. Pro Tip: though there is 7-11 in the basement and GS25 around the corner, the un-named 24hr convenience store at the back of the hotel has more fruits (e.g. grapes and oranges) than typical 7-11/CU/GS25.

It's quite strategic and walking distance to the famous culinary and shopping center in Myeodong. A clean little hotel and one room can make 4 people (choose 4 people) at a very affordable price (it costs 1 jt per night). In the hotel building there is a 24-hour mini market and surrounded by many restaurants and easy to ride public vehicles such as buses and subway (subway). The room is not too big with a window to view the street. Small hotel towels size like hand towels (Korean hotel cotton). Bathroom showers are available with shampo and liquid soap. There is a water heater for coffee/tea, a small refrigerator, hair dyer, a small flat TV with many channels of Korean station, a medium size mineral water 4 bottles. Small hotel lobby goes up to the 4th floor. Just for sleeping and rest ok.

Hotel was 5mins walk from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 12. You can use the lift at Exit 12 (first photo), to/from Level B2 & 1 as the 4 escalators leading up to street level do not work. The room has everything you need, it’s very clean and new (beds and pillows were good >> didn’t give any backache 😂), with a very convenient water and ice dispenser in the walkway. On top of that, the room has free 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. There are many convenient stores around the hotel. You can have your tax refund done at DOOTA Mall near the hotel so you don’t have to queue at the airport to get your $ back before your departure. Myeongdong Street (at Lotte Young Plaza stop) was also about 10 mins bus ride to the hotel with 5 buses running on the same route. Would recommend staying at this hotel again! The locker for luggage storage (last photo - it fits a L size luggage) was really an advantage - you could dump your luggage before and after your check-in! Finally, airport bus 6001 to the airport is right outside the hotel - prepare 2 hours journey for road traffic conditions near Seoul station enroute to airport.

The staff were kind and even though they couldn't speak Korean, they greeted me in Japanese with a smile. It was a small room for one person, but it wasn't a problem. I want to use it again.
